Chantal has groomed my dogs for 20 years now! She loves dogs and they can tell. She charges the going rates, and always does a great job. And I’m fussy!

My poor cat wouldn't get out from under the bed for over a day after their last visit. They had a big bald spot on their side, and still had a matted spot which was the reason for the visit. I will be looking elsewhere for grooming in the future.

Our two Goldens came home looking amazing. They hate grooming but allow Furry Friends to work their magic!

My cat looks amazing and adorable after getting his lion cut every single time I have brought him here, he always seems so happy and proud afterwards as well. I highly recommend this place especially for long haired cats:)

The staff member who brought out our dog was very rude. No staff member ever introduced themselves. We had brought our dog there multiple times before and were disappointed with the grooming for the last couple of cuts. The groomers didn't give the cut that we wanted, disappointing, especially given how expensive it is. I won't go back. Switched to another groomer, and what a difference!

Brought my cat two times so far and have love both times! Always a great job and he looks so handsome.

The groomer is very knowledgeable about dog breeds and their particularities. She's always reassuring and takes good care of the animals in her care, keeping their comfort in mind.

This shop does great work! My Samoyed Mika was in good spirits when she left and she looks great! Thanks for the help. Will be returning.

I always know my dog is in good hands whenever I drop him off for a spa day ️ everyone is always excited to see him, and I feel so comfortable leaving him there. He always comes back looking incredible and fresh! Prices are also reasonable for downtown Ottawa. Thanks everyone at Furry Friends for always taking care of Benji ️

I've been here four times. The first two were fine, though the cut they provided my dog made her look like a rat. Because most groomers were not accepting new clients, I had to go again for a third visit. The third visit was fantastic, as another groomer took care of her. I decided to go back and specifically see that groomer again for a fourth visit. When I arrived for my appointment that groomer was not there (was not told on advance) and had to go with someone else. The cut my dog recieved was hideous AND she got razor burn all over her belly, inner legs and genitals. Will never be returning.

Superb team, very pet's-needs-oriented; they took great care of my two cats and were very gentle and accomodating to each of their personalities!
We'll definitely go back with our shy dog; we felt our pets were safe, well taken care of and loved as if it were their own!

So my friends have a seriously fluffy cat! They had a hard time finding a place that could groom her properly (the first place they took her too was awful)! They were so happy with the result after she was groomed here! The cat seemed to enjoy it too as she seemed so relaxed after!

Owner of this Establishment has a bad attitude is very rude over the slightest mishaps do not recommend this place to anybody I’ve heard a lot of negativity and my experience today I will never book an appointment there if that’s how the owner is going to treat her customers very disappointed with this place was looking forward to further booking my animals there but not anymore.

I live close by and I hear dogs barking in the back pen all day long. I wouldn't leave my dog here because they neglect them.

Archie had his first ever full out grooming appointment here! I know he must have been nervous but they said he was calm and gentle throughout the process. He’s a silly mixed breed with a double coat, and needs expert care.

He looks amazing and we know he’s feeling lighter and brighter heading into the warmer months. We will be coming back here for all of our regular grooming appointments

My cat came back looking traumatized and then got sick a day later with vomitting and diarrhea. Hes 2 and has never been ill before this visit. Maybe a coincidence but the place was stuffed with animals and didnt look super clean

We have been bringing our golden doodle puppy to Furry Friends for her grooming since she was 3 months old and cannot recommend them enough. Their puppy groom package was the perfect way to get our pup comfortable with being groomed. She is always so excited to go to the shop and loves being around the staff, and they have always done a wonderful job caring for her. My partner and I always remark on how great she looks after her appointment. Chantal and her staff have always been so professional and accommodating. You can really tell how much they love the animals they work with. Furry Friends is definitely worth checking out.

Took my little Chloe (Yorkshire terrier) for the first time and she was very happy and relaxed! Great service!

I'm so relieved that I found a place that I can bring my Golden Doodle where he comes out so soft and stylish. He's a nervous dog but each groomer who has worked with him has been able to manage his nerves and produce fantastic work. I can't recommend them enough:)

I had no trouble finding parking. The staff were friendly and proficient. I'm so happy I found this pet spa my bunny deserves the best and this establishment delivered.

The Furry Friends were amazing with my Frenchton Tyson, very friendly and they did a great job grooming my dog. I cannot wait to take him back.

We have been bringing our Havanese for 3 years and he always looks great and the folks at Furry Friends are always attentive to how we want our dogs hair trimmed. Highly recommended.

This grooming salon is excellent. I have been taking my very nervous Whoodle to Chantal for close to 13 years. My girl has always been treated warmly, given upmost attention, great grooming. She goes often as she gets her nails trimmed and her ears cleaned and plucked in between full grooming and she is now at ease - so much so that she walks in unassisted, jumps on the grooming table, receives her care and comes down when told she is done. The entire staff is wonderful.

I went to visit Kissable K9's at this location and they did such a phenomenal job cleaning my dogs teeth! I couldn't believe it! And soooo affordable! I recommend everyone visit their Facebook page and book an appointment!

Brought my small dog here a couple weeks ago and it was great. Their service was kind and friendly, they had good COVID policies, and the cut itself was the perfect length. Would recommend and will be back for sure!

I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. They took in my cat Tom, and gave him his the necessary treatments to minimize his condition. They were able to accommodate me and offered me the service the same day at flexible hours. It was overwhelming to deal with a sick pet iand it was a great relief to be able to count on their professional help. Thanks again!

We been bringing our cat Luna here for while now and having nothing but good things to say. I've watched them work and they really treat the animals with love and kindness. I highly recommend.

My little dog came back so stressed out with bleeding nails and paw.
The worst experience.

I was just there this afternoon with, my cat to have is nails clipped.
When I walked in, I was not sure I was going to stay the place looked like a tornado hit it.
To many dogs in such a small space, the place did not look very sanitary.
The only good thing I found about this place, was the cat and dog that live there.
I would definitely not recommend this place, but you can check it out if you wish.

This spa and grooming for pets is top-notch. I've taken two of my West Highland Terriers to Chantal (the owner) and they always looked fantastic after she and her staff worked their magic.

I got to see the groomers in action, and all the animals seemed calm and relaxed as they got their hair washed and trimmed.

The staff were responsive towards the dogs in their care, and talked to them with great affection. I believe that the main reason the dogs were so well behaved, is that they sensed that this was a warm, safe place.

The charge for a full groom was very reasonable and less expensive than most other dog grooming places I've visited.

I not would not hesitate to recommend Furry Friends Spa and Daycare at all.

I give it 5 stars for sure. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

I brought my kitties to this business on Tue 15 Oct 19 and Thu 17 Oct 19, and both were phenomenal experiences. The receptionist Vanessa was a total sweetheart, and the groomer/owner Chantal was fabulous with my fur babies. There was very little for me to do as Chantal was very proactive in asking me questions. She had no objections at all to me watching her work, which is a very good indicator that she is very competent and she is very confident in her ability to handle my kitties

When I was there, there was a house cat and dog. Their house cat was super mellow, and the dog was naturally curious as I was a new customer. Aside from two or three "welcome! " barks initially, the house dog was quiet and super sweet! The place was as clean as a groomer's business can be expected: the reception area was immaculate, and the working room itself had fluffs of dog/cat fur everywhere. Unless you can put your hand on your own heart and swear your home is kept utterly free of dog/cat fur, you need to manage your own silly expectations of how clean you think a groomer's business should/shouldn't be

After staying with my furbaby for about 10 mins, I left and then came back. My furbaby looked great! And once again Chantal had no problems with me watching her finish up. Am very much going to come back again!

I would not recommend this place for puppies or nervous dogs at all! The grooming space is very chaotic-three grooming tables with barking dogs in crates/pens in the same room.

I was charged $90+ for my 20lbs Portuguese water dog pup, who was only partially groomed (they didn't groom her face or clean her ears, and forgot to cut her nails, so they rushed it after we had come to get her, cutting her quick).

The lady then told me our pup wasn't very cooperative, and we should've booked their puppy package instead, which was infuriating because I had asked about that but was recommended the full groom by them when booking my appointment! Would never come back! I went to Ruff House instead, and they are much more professional.

Best groomer in the Ottawa/Gatineau area for Airedale and Welsh. Any dogs for that matter. Thank you Chantal.

I brought my himalayan cat here a total of three times, in the past year. The first two times I was happy with the experience. However, the last time (in May), I was largely disappointed. When I walked in there were more dogs in the grooming area than the previous two visits. The owner seemed a bit stressed, and asked me three times about my cat's demeanour and expected haircut. I was pretty clear in my explanation, figuring she would give a similar groom as in the past. My partner picked the cat up so I didn't see her until she got home. I was not impressed. Her fur was shorter than I had asked for (I had said "not too short".). As well, her eyes were still goopy, so obviously no eye wipe. She also didn't smell as fresh as she had last time coming home from the groomers. Sadly, the worst was how she had been groomed around her neck. It was too short in the back of her head, uneven on the sides and honestly looks like it was rushed. I am not happy. I am not even sure how the first two times had such good results, compared to this time. I assume overbooking for the day was a big factor. My cat was extremely clingy once home (anxiety) and it was clear the experience was not one I want to repeat. Chantal is a nice person but the last time was disappointing enough to not wish to return.

This is hands down the best grooming place I’ve ever been to. The owner is experienced at what she does and she can multi task like I’ve never seen before.
If you’re looking for serious pet grooming this is the place.
The staff there are all about the quality of the work they do.

We brought our Airedale and he was perfectly groomed. It helped that the owner has had Airedales and she had groomed Airedales that came the same breeder as ours.

Chantal is great. She has a special way with all her clients. Tony is not the easiest dog to handle, but she does.

They did a really good job with our pooch. It's affordable and quick service. The staff seems very friendly.
Only note was his underbelly near his legs were rather red for a few days, but I'm sure it's not easy to trim the hair in that area and he does not like being groomed.
