Fuzz Wax Bar

Booked my appointment for 3: 20 and it was pushed back twice before I got there as the fuzzologist was running behind, totally understandable!
When I arrived I waited 40+ minutes at the store for my appointment. They neglected to tell me they were so behind that my new “scheduled” time was actually another clients pushed back appointment and she was being taken before me.
I had to leave without my service as I had to get to work.
No one offered to reschedule me.
The front line was nice enough but it was very hectic and poorly managed. I won’t be returning.

Kimberly is THE BEST @ QueenWest! (I'm sure all the women are great.she just happens to be my personal fave).
She is professional, personable and all around my go to girl. I love Fuzz wax bar.it's such a nice atmosphere.

I’ve been a member for around a year for a reason! The receptionists are so sweet and accommodating, I go to Fouzia for all of my services shes is amazing. She’s extremely thorough, gentle, takes her time, and always makes sure you’re happy with her work (which I always am).

Got myself waxed by Kavery. She was wonderful, super friendly and gentle. Loved how she worked on me without causing any pain, and was cooperative and careful the entire time!

Update: they did contact me. I’ve been going there ever since and have been having very good experience.

Every time when I arrive there they keep me waiting but this time I scheduled an appointment for 3: 45 and I arrived at 3: 50 and they tell me that they won’t be able to take me in! They never mentioned anything about lateness policy! Plus they have my phone number so they could have called before giving my appointment to someone else. They were not even very polite when telling me to reschedule.

I’ve had my appointment cancelled same day three times in a row because they only have one weekday eyebrow threader. I know that people get sick but having only one threader on staff on weekdays is a terrible business decision! I’ll be looking elsewhere.

On time, quick, kind, gentle as possible and very thorough. Great communication to make sure you are comfortable and very clean space and can tell the employees sanitize their gloves frequently. Go here!

Celma provided me the best wax experience of my life. It was essentially painless, she was quick and had great attention to detail. I will never go to another waxer again!

If you ever book at the Queen W location I highly recommend you book with Kim. This was the most painless waxing experience I’ve ever had. She has great energy and make sure you’re comfortable the entire time. I’ve already booked my next appointment

At the bare minimum you should finish a waxing service without any hair left but they didn't manage that. I also called to confirm that certain specific spots were included in a service, and again asked the technician while I was on table if those same spots would be covered. Both times I was told that the hair would be removed from that specific area, but when I was able to closer inspect at home I found parts of the zone completely untouched, and others with only the hair partly removed. I reached out through their survey they send you afterwards but hadn't heard anything back from them there. They do give you a small hand mirror to check yourself at the end of the appointment but if you have lighter colored hair it can be difficult to spot anything missed, especially under the bright light. Besides, the person staring directly at your skin should be catching the things that were obviously missed on me. You end up with a situation where everything seems fine in the waxing room, but when you get home you realize just how much was missed. They missed darker hairs as well. It shouldn't be up to me to catch a professional's mistakes, especially while having a worse view of the skin site.

Also, the place smells extremely strongly of fragrance. Granted, it does not smell bad, but anyone with even mild sensitivities will probably find it to be headache inducing.
