This was my first time ever coming to the FYI clinic. And I have to say I have a meeting experience.the staff are super friendly.quick, maybe feel comfortable with the whole time. Dr. Baron was so great.she was thorough dancing all my questions.listening to my thoughts and concerns and I never once felt like I was being rushed out of the office. I would have recommend her and this clinic to absolutely everybody

The eye doctor explained fully what they were looking at and even showed me pictures. And answered any of my questions. I found the staff that I got the glasses from very professional and very very helpful and pleasant.

Dr. Wang is excellent and takes the time to address any of your concerns. The staff are friendly and willing to help any way they can. They have lots of different styles of eyeglasses to choose from.

I have been coming to the FYI office in Oshawa for years. I have always experienced excellent and knowledgeable staff, be it the doctor performing my eye exam, the receptionist, or the person helping me process my order for new eyeglasses. I always leave extremely satisfied.

Dr. Wang has been my optometrist for years and I trust him fully. Since transitioning to FYIdoctors, it has been smooth and easy. Great place for purchasing your eye wear as well. I would recommend this establishment to all.

In April 2018 I went to see Dr. Wang for an eye exam because I wanted new glasses. In the process of the testing he spotted a black dot behind my right eye no bigger than the tip of a pencil. Rather than brushing it off as a shadow or something he was concerned enough to send me on to a specialist in Scarebough who then sent me to the Ocular Oncology department at Princess Margaret where I was diagnosed with having a Melanoma behind my right eye. I have just finished radiation treatment on it and hopefully it works. I am very grateful and want to thank Dr Wang for finding and being concerned about a tiny black dot. If this had gotten bigger I could have at the least lost my eye. Thank you again Dr. Wang.

August 2022, I went to see Dr Wang for a checkup. I was telling him that I had terrible pressure in my right eye and it was causing me terrible headaches, and the drops the DR.at Princess Margaret prescribed were not helping. He checked my pressure and right away said I needed to see an opthomaligist that day. He and the FYI team tried to get me one for that day but I ended up with one for the next day and she prescribed new drops that have been working to relieve the pressure. I am great full to Doctor Wang and his staff for the care and concern

Great and knowledgeable staff. Staff was very helpful when trying to decide what frames to purchase for my face shape. Went above and beyond to make my experience awesome.

Today I broke the ear piece on my glasses that I really depend on for just about everything. So I called my FYidoctors office & spoke to Jennifer. She told me that she had a part that could work if I could bring them in by 7pm. My husband took them in after work and she fixed my a glasses while my husband waited. And there was no charge. Thank you FYI Great job! I can see again.

FYidoctors have been amazing to us! My wife has gotten 2 pairs of glasses and we've purchased 3 pairs of sunglasses as well. The prices are as good or better than anywhere else but the big difference is that you have professionals helping you find the right features and fit for your face rather than just someone in a hut trying to make a sale.

Thank you all for your wonderful service (including after service!) we will definitely be back for more in the future.

The doctors here are great and same with the staff except the receptionist I spoke to named Dana. Very rude and left me feeling like my inquiry was annoying her. If it wasn't for her attitude I would have given this place 5 stars.

Great location, friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in. Although I had checked to see when I qualified for new glasses through my benefits, this step wasn't needed as the team at FYI Doctors knew my plan and when I qualified for new glasses and had actually called me to book me in, this was so helpful had I actually forgotten.

They make taking the eye exam comforting and let you know what to expect during all stages of the exam, they also have a wide range of frames to choose from that has never let me down. As I was able to quickly decide pressure free from their selection, once selected it took roughly a week and my new glasses were already ready to pickup.

This was my 3rd pair of glasses and will be sure to visit them when its time for my 4th pair

Ended up giving them a bad review because of the service I received. Then after months of waiting for my glasses, they saw my review and called me to say a few things and were even more hostile because I was honest in my review. Not worth your time. Go to Lenscrafters in the Oshawa Mall.

I was happy with glasses selection and staff were friendly. However, I ordered 2 pair of glasses and was told the deal that’s always on is get 30% off the 2nd pair. I came in 2 weeks later to pick them up and the offer published is 40% off. 10% is substantial on glasses that cost $1000: - (

The staff was super nice! Jen helped me a lot with all my benefit papers and made it very simple to get my glasses, so simple i brought my kids in afterwords which was also a breeze! Briana was the optometrist who examined my girls - she was very patient and very kind! I definitely will be going back!

Made insurance coverage much more difficult than it needed to be, travel here from out of town, so 5 stars for Dr. Jenny Tang! After submitting the quote from them and being told one thing from the person who had approved the coverage then to be sent away by FYi to get more forms and additional notes to the prescription seemed unnecessary and frustrating to say the least. So in conclusion probably a great office if you've got sky high bullet proof coverge, but if you're dealing with o.w or odsp ide steer clear.
