A Disorganized mess, full of unprofessional staff with little to no concept of customer service or work ethic.

It’s okay if you’re looking to buy a retro game but I do not advise buying any retro equipment from This store. I believe it’s either laziness or no one understands what good working condition means. Save the trip and the insanely high cost for subpar merchandise. Just get it from Amazon. Shopping local isn’t going to provide quality results anymore.

Staff barely know where anything is located due to the disaster in the store, extremely gross feeling and needs to be cleaned and organized (Specifically rear of the store).

Staff provide inconsistent information regarding cost and specs and quality of merchandise. I’m convinced their pricing is from a roll of the dice they keep at the front cashier. Everyone has a different answer. If you want to return a defective product that was promised to work properly I hope you love store credit, they do not give refunds.

Staff often standing/sitting around or engaging in non sales related conversation with regulars which will leave you slowly exhaling as your are waiting for some assistance to locate and buy something.

If you’re there to hangout, and talk about different opinions on videos games, then this LARP of discord is the place for you.

10/10 the customer service is immaculate, I got a game for my collection and they took the time too switch the case it came in so I had a quality piece because they care about the customer

First time going to the store today to sell some old DS games and consoles and got 300 dollars. Way more than I expected. Incredible place to buy exquisite collectables and anything game related. Very friendly staff and very easy to talk to. I’ll definitely come back to sell/buy games. Appreciate doing business with you guys!

My son and I went in to possibly trade or sell some Pokémon cards, and several broken Ps4 units. I was dealing with Ocean and they were amazing. Not only did they take the time to try and solve my issues, they really took the time to point me in the right direction. My son's experience was even better. I wish I got the name of the staff member helping my son. They took the time to price out each card my son wanted to trade and ultimately recommend that he hold onto them. Wow. Not only honest but extremely patient with my 8 year old son and answered all his questions. At theend he left with a pack of Pokémon cards that the staff member purchased out of their own pocket for him. What? Unbelievable right? Nope not at GAMES. Long post was necessary. Amazing and thank you so much.

Great place. Prices could be a bit cheaper for resale games and controllers for older systems but still a great store

I came across this place very recently; they have a very good selection of older and rare old games. Staff was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular.

I've been visiting this shop for years, and for good reason. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are reasonable, and they always have such cool, rare and interesting merch/games constantly coming in. Such a joy to walk around and discover new things

As for trade ins- they have always given me good prices for my old games and consoles. Way more then EB would any day of the week. If you have old games I couldn't recommend these guys more.

Been on and off collecting for years now, pretty reasonable guy. Saw a card I liked for $120 and then offered 110 for fun, guy working with me said sure. 30 seconds later another worker stepped in, micromanaged and checked ebay. Said actually no 120 is a good price. I dont care about the card and was just killing time but either way sour experience

This place is really good if you’re looking for the right thing there is a really good chance that they will have it. The prices are decent. The staff is really good. I would recommend it if you’re close into the area.

Heard good things about this place but had an odd experience. Went in to sell an Xbox 360 20GB console with all wires but no controller and they didn’t want to buy it unless it had a controller? Can’t just pair the console with a loose one in your inventory? Got an offer of 20$ and I said I’ll just hang onto it. Went home and sold everything for 80$ locally myself. Dealt with both the owner and I assume his wife both were very rude, snooty and condescending. Prices on their resell/“store” are way to high and equivalent to eBay. Either source your games locally (Kijiji or Facebook) to save money or just order from eBay without leaving your house. Thanks for your time. I will not be back ever.

As a PC gamer, this place has gotten me to play more console exclusive games. Awesome story, amazing staff, will definitely shop here for video games and cards!

Awesome service. We'll recommend this spot for any games, consoles, toys, anything gaming related. We went to get our PS3 appraisal as we wanted to sell it. They did a great job and they were fair. At the end we decided to not sell because of memories and nostalgia. But they were great. We came home and forgot to grab one of the games that they tried with our guitar. We haven't reach out to them but not the wind of the world. We will reach out to see if we can get back our rock band game. Great job guys keep it up!

Well stocked merchandise across a variety of different fandoms. The store has so much going on that you need to take your time and look around for hidden treasures. I always stop in when I am in the area. Staff is friendly too.

Not helpful. The used systems are not properly checked before they resell. Once those 30 days are up they refuse to do anything. I guess they don't want to ruin their manly painted fingernails and neck chockers

Glad we stopped in here. Stocked floor to ceiling with games of every generation. Found a couple great rarities and the employee helping us was excellent. Will be back!

This place is incredible. They basically have anything retro that you want. They are big on card games like Magic and Pokémon if you're looking for that. Overall great environment for the retro gamer in the surrounding Oshawa area.

I love absolutely everything about this store! I visited awhile back & the owner kept the store open later for me so i could fully browse their inventory and he had no obligation to do so! The customer service from the owner and sales associate was above and beyond.this store is definitely in my top 5 for all of ontario and i can’t wait to go back.they have such a diverse inventory from a large selection of tamagotchi and video games to anime figurines and collectibles.plus, the pricing is beyond reasonable.the few pictures i took do not do this place justice in terms of their inventory so you should check them out for yourself because you will probably find something you like! The drive out is totally worth it.thank you for such a memorable experience!

Been coming to this place for over a decade. Small but STOCKED shop. Found so many classics here over the years. Always a fair market price. Jesse, the owner, is a solid business man.

I love going into this store! They have an extensive collection of video games and consoles of all kinds, as well as other related video game and anime memorabilia. I love going in and looking at all of the figures they have! Such a cool store.

BTW I had a blank filler pokemon card and your employees tried to scam me for it by offering 50 bucks when they are worth 1500 near mint just saw it on pawn stars so keep up your scaming see how far it gets u in life

The manager, Sam, has always been so helpful and welcoming whenever I’m in the store. I mainly go in for Magic cards. She has gone out of her way to let me know when cards are in that I don’t even remember mentioning to her that I was looking for. She always gives awesome service.

Walked in to sell some systems and games N64 game boys ect …. Let me tell you the staff and manager were very professional and more then fare.they gave me really good prices on my games and consoles …. Very friendly and welcoming …honestly the best video game store I been to so far.highly recommended

Great store! Definitely something for everyone in here, the staff are incredible; always willing to help you look for what you're searching for. The owner Jesse is also excellent, has the best prices I've seen through the GTA and is always willing to help with suggestions for games or find the game you're looking for. 10/10 would recommend to absolutely everyone!

Wonderful staff, decent selection of retro games, but it's poorly run. They take in WAY too many trades which has lead to a lot of overcrowding, and it's a bit of a safety risk at certain points.

I've been in there where they've been understaffed to the point where it's only been one person working, and their counters are always obscured.

Half of the staff check eBay, and the other half can rattle off prices like it's nothing. It's strange.

The majority of the time the place is an absolute disaster. The only benefit is that it's convenient and close.

It sucks that my opinion of this place has turned. It's a wonderful store with wonderful people, but it needs a major overhaul of their system and their operations. It's getting ridiculous.

Came in to get some av cables for my super Nintendo had some concerns about whether or not the console was having issues. Owner cleaned my game and super gameboy device with no charge just out of kindness. Turned on the system and it worked perfectly fine, didn’t need cables but still wanted to support so I purchased anyways.

This is what true customer service is about!

I came in to buy sleeves for my recently purchased magic precon deck,
the workers were extremely helpful and gave me a bunch of suggestions and tips on how to play the deck and to make it better. Also they got opinions from customers who were also very helpful when giving advice.

I'm always nervous going into game stores having 0 knowledge of hobbies I want to get into but this place was very welcoming.will 100% be back

Bought a controller multitap years ago. Put my name and number in the system. Didn’t have receipt but I know he had my information still wouldn’t return it. Much better game stores out there. Also you guys do sell ps2 controller multitaps as I bought one years ago. It was within the 30days I bought it and no refund. Anyone reading this shop elsewhere was treated badly here.

Visited them from out of town. Great selection and they check the games before letting you purchase, saved me a lot of hassle of getting home and being disappointed

So over crowded with piles and piles of junk on junk that you can't see or enjoy the items they do have. It's a hoarders heaven!

This place would be much more enjoyable and comfortable to enter if it had a deep clean and was organized- getting rid of all the dollarstore cheap junk would do it wonders.

Staff was friendly- however everything was over priced. I definitely wasn't impressed and I will be returning to my fav place for these items.
