This shooting range has the best staff ever! Our instructor was the coolest and made our experience one to remember! I learned so much and had a ton of fun at the same time! Great place to go if you have never been to a shooting range.

Best outdoors store in all of Durham region! Their stuff seems to rotate seasonally and actually sells out, so grab your gear while you can.

One of the best experience shooting here with our range officer Jim. His instructions were crisp and clear. It was a thrilling experience. We tried 60 rounds with 2 hand guns and a rifle with red dot attachment.

I have ordered on line from Gagnon before and have never had a problem until today. When my package came it was missing a product. I thought to myself great here we go. One phone call and 5 minutes later and the product is being sent out right away. I am impressed.

Outdoor hunting and fishing store in Oshawa, Ontario. My main experience with this store is usually online which has always been fantastic. My most recent purchase was at store and it was just as good. The store is well stocked with fishing gear from your standard North American brands as well as some JDM products. The area is spacious, the staff is extremely friendly and approachable. Prices are competitive and deals can be found. Clean and plenty of parking. Would recommend online or in person for fishing gear.

Went to the shooting range and i must admit it was a fantastic experience, the Instructors Jim and Ron are the most down to earth and funny people ive met in awhile in establishment, they gave us all the necessary safety instructions and made my sister relaxed as it was her first time shooting, (she enjoyed herself and wants to go back ASAP). I encourage anyone to visit whether beginner or Pro u will not be disappointed.

Big store for fishing and hunting supplies (even has a shooting range inside). We went for some fishing tackle. Large inventory. Fun to browse. We got the ice jigs we were looking for, plus some soft bait and spoons. The staff were attentive and helpful too. Recommend.

Their selection of new and used items is excellent as well. Should you encounter any issues with your firearm they have a gunsmith there 4 days a week to assist.

One of the best fishing tackle stores I have been to in over 30 years as I just got back into bass fishing in a big way. Incredible selection of both hard and soft baits, terminal tackle and high quality rods and reels for pretty much every technique for catching your next PB! They also have a very good website where you can order in advance and pick up at a later date. Also the staff are very helpful in selecting and looking for the lures I needed to rebuild my bass fishing arsenal. Dog friendly too. One of my favourite stores for fishing tackle for sure!

Fishing and hunting store that everyone should go to. Easy access large store that has everything for your outdoors person.

This place is heaven and the employees are all incredibly helpful. I bought a reel here and it went on sale a week or so later and one of the guys took care of me and adjusted the price for me. I have stopped going to Sail simply because the service here is so awesome and they have SO MUCH STUFF. Plus, I prefer to support family businesses. Talking to some of the guys at Gagnon, if there is something you see online you want and its not in stock at Gagnon, talk to them - they'll order it and get it in for you.

Now if they only sold "fishing skills", I would have landed a steelhead by now.

I've been here a few times, bought a $400 bait caster reel and a 12g shotgun, these people make me feel like a crook, no smiles, no hey how are you, just a bunch of miserable looking people, ill take my business else where from now on.

Gagnon’s Sports has always been Durham Region’s GOTO sports store. Originating in the front of home, then migrating to Simcoe Street and now to their present location on Bloor Street in Oshawa, the family owned and operated business for over 50 years has always maintained quality outdoors, hunting and fishing products at affordable prices. If you are into the outdoors, you need Gagnon’s Sports. Period.

I ordered a center pin reel from these guys on a late Monday evening and it was at my door on Wednesday afternoon. They expedited the delivery at no extra charge. Very grateful!

Very helpful staff.they ran out of floating roes.seeing my anguish.told me to wait for 10 minutes and whallah a dozen salmon eggs were nicely tied up for me. First time and i am totally impressed with their service. We should promote family owned shops who are way close to the anglers than big names. My 2 cents ️

Was great experience as soon as you walk in the place they ask if you need help. I’m the type to want to look at everything. Foldable ice huts fold in to a sleighed and you can tug around. And trout eggs always fresh never had a problem.

Was not overlea in pressed with the layout of the store staff new their stuff but found stock all over the store not like all one kind in this isle and looking for something else its next isle over, just found store unorganized or maybe more thought should go into the set up of the store

The staff in the fishing department are amazing. Specifically Sam the young lady up front. With my age I've struggled with the new fishing and hunting licenses. Sam broke the whole process down for me and explained exactly what and when I needed to do certain things. I will always chose a family business over big box after my experiences in there.

Website stated a sale from $100 on for $60 drove over an hour to find out it was a mistake on website and they would not honor the deal. Will not be back

Great place for all your outdoor activities. I had my rifle serviced at their gunsmith and he did great job.

Best supplier for all your rear round hunting and fishing needs, also a selection of camping equipment. Guns, compound and cross bows, rods reels tackle galore you name it they have it. An indoor archery range, everything you want or need they have it. Very knowledgeable polite professional staff that are really well trained and educated in what they do. I'm 50 years old now and my dad was taking me in there as a kid and they just keep getting better every day. Only place I go for my hunting and fishing needs! Give the a look see I'm sure you'll be impressed!

I went to get minnows, all they had was giant 8 inch long minnows. But whatever. I went back and asked for large minnows, she said all we have are medium, I said ok. They were pretty much all small minnows that were too small for my hook. And I looked at my receipt later that day and I was charged for large minnows.

The staff in the range are amazing. They have spent lots of their time helping me with my shooting, trouble shooting with my guns and they are always friendly.

I was east bound with minutes to spare before Gangons would close. I called the shop and a young fella Max was closing up so he sorted out what I needed over the phone and waited for me to arrive shortly after closing time.greatly appreciated Max and Gagnon!
