Gairloch Gardens

Peaceful and beautifully planned park. It's a shame they don't allow BBQ there in open.

Best place to visit in summer. Very beautiful flowers. Lakeshore sidewalk. Water boats, big waves, sound of water mesmerizing. We can walk around and take pictures. People do photoshoot for their wedding as well.

Gairloch Gardens, consisting of a park and gallery in an old homestead, is located south of Lakeshore Road near Morrison Road. The gallery is a heritage home on the estate of the late James Gairdner who, in 1971, left his estate to the Town of Oakville.

The gardens boast extensive rose gardens and 15,000 annuals that bloom between June and September. Gairloch Gardens is a popular destination for special occasion and wedding photography (permit required). Parking is limited to 35 spaces

Small park but very nice and clean. I wouldn’t go out of the way for it, but near by sure. There was a rose garden not in bloom yet, and I think I would come back for them.

After visited the Tannery Park and the Lakeside Park, stopped here. There is a parking lot at the 1306 Lakeshore East, not very large though. It has a rose garden, an elegant bridge and fountains, all were beautiful. The Oakville Galleries were magnificent. The lake view was spectacular. It was relatively quiet even in a Saturday morning.

Just sit and watch around or take a walk.or lie down on the soft grass.read a book.whatever you like to do, you will fall in love with this place.

Just beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful place to visit with your family, for dogwalking, picnic, You name it. You really want to take pictures every second. Must see place

A beautiful park by Lake Ontario, full of wondrous landscaping and an art gallery. Frogs, turtles and geese roam the grounds. The Rose Garden is beautiful. A wonderful area for photography (requires a permit for wedding photography).

So beautiful and relaxing to walk in such a beautiful garden. Well kept and clean. The rose garden was so pretty and the smell of rose was so pleasant. The sound of the water breaking on the rocks was so relaxing. Such a pleasant day, I highly recommend it

What a treat! The garden is so beautiful, so perfectly arranged, and the lake view is magnificent! It is just a short distance from the downtown Oakville.
