O my god you walk in and bam you are hit with happy face and food flying to tables
When you come to your siting in your spot with a nice cold water and a big list to go over after you make your order your food flys to your table in no time you in the area you got to stop in

Had a great experience today. Some good home fries especially. Good classic diner vibes too

This place has been here for more than 20 years. Use to go there a lot for breakfast but this time went for lunch. We had a Reubens with fries and club sandwich with fries. Huge portions and the fries were great.

My first diner experience, so could be a little biased but it was excellent! Great service, food was delicious and felt like a really authentic diner, very good

I went to galaxy diner on Sunday sept 10th 2023, for brunch with my daughter & my grandkids.

My grandkids enjoyed the food. A bonus was galaxy diner has s box the kids played, a toonie, to win stuffed animals & more.

My daughter & myself really enjoyed our brunch too!

We have been going to galaxy diner for 5 years.

The servers are friendly, clear with orders, attentive & food is delicious & affordable too!

Went here today for lunch today and wasn’t too busy. That being said it could be a weekday and definitely might be busier during the weekend

Looks like one of the old school diners complete with decor!

We were quickly by staff and order came out quickly as well. The waiter was very kind, I did not catch his name however.

Got the Galaxie Deluxe Burger and Philly Cheese Steak with Waffle Fries
Delicious! Got the 70s style milkshakes as well

Would recommend if you’re in the area if you want a good meal

Great Food and amazing service. The server was friendly, had a warm smile and was super attentive always. We called for a regular breakfast and a chicken dish. I will say the regular breakfast and the sausages were my favourite. Definitely a friendly, happy place for some yummy food! Highly recommend to visit it.

Had a lovely breakfast today and my boyfriend had a classic club sandwich with real sliced turkey! The service today was really great our girl was pleasant and friendly. Place was packed

I came in around 9 sept 27.there’s an older white woman that works here she was non stop talking (incredibly loud might i add) about how much she absolutely loves Trump and how he was a good president.she was talking about “illegals”, my mother who was with me is an immigrant and i can’t even believe she brought hateful politics into her place of work and spoke about it in front of customers.i’m appalled, i used to love coming here but i promise i won’t be returning.:)

If you undercook French toast and charge extra for peanut butter …at a breakfast restaurant… a two star it is …

My go too diner! Very friendly staff! Great service and good for quick breakfast before work! And as for someone born in the 90’s its nice to experience a that 50’s ambience.

Food was okay but the pricing had us a bit confused, some things were overpriced for the quality offered. Poutine suffered the Toronto curse and had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds. Only one waiter when we had went on a Saturday afternoon, so service would be slow if there were multiple groups of people. Probably won’t come back but glad we went. Water was crisp. Elvis was sexy. Nuff’ said.

Love this place me and my family have been going for 17yrs definitely a favorite place for breakfast, sandwiches and other food! The people are amazing and although the tables are a bit sticky sometimes the servers are more than glad to wipe them down. I will always go back here.

Very bad costumer service.
The food is reduced and the prices is very high now. The manager said to us do not come here anymore very bad shame on them.

Friendly staff, big portions and super reasonable prices! The breakfast was excellent and my kid's burger was actually amazing. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Very friendly service but food is a little too salty. Had the Philly and wish it didn't have the sauce on it as it took away from the meat. The fish and chips were better though. Amazing fries.

Terrible service. Server was confused about a item on the menu? Then got upset when I clarified what I actually wanted.

Great food, good experience. Quite busy on Mother's Day, but despite that the service and lemght of time for food deluvery was good. I'd go back again.

Great breakfast with large portion sizes. Lost one star because we felt rushed out after our meal, when we had come all way from Ottawa and were having a reunion with friends. Still recommend the food

This place is vary dirty their ketchup bottles are vary old it’s false advertising that the ketchup is Heinz ketchup all they do it take the bottles and constantly refill them you have to be carful with the bottles because their old they don't close and it will spill all over your clothes customer service sucks I would never come back here again I don’t recommend this place to anyone

Galaxy has definitely been a staple for breakfast for me. Though they do have other food options besides breakfast that I'm sure are just as delicious. Servers are hit and miss depends on who you get and there mood. But over all I've been going here for years and will keep enjoying the breakfast.

I had the eggs Benedict. As a chef this is the breakfast dish you love eatting. They need to learn how to poach eggs. If you have time to kill go here cause the food took forever and was not worth the wait. Will not recommend. I was forced to put 1 star

This place is definitely on my 'never go back' list. I took my son for breakfast today. I ordered their special which was corned beef hash topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. My plate was light on the hollandaise so I asked for a little more and my server brought me a small ramakin. To my surprise there was a 3 dollar charge on my bill for the sauce that came with my breakfast. But that's not the kicker. My son ordered a combo with eggs, meat, toast, fries and pancakes. He couldn't finish his pancakes so I asked for a takeout container. There was a 20 cent charge for the container on the bill. I will welcome any comments if I'm unreasonable but I dine out regularly and have no problem paying for extras but this seems over the top.

Service and food were terrible.half of us got our food but we had no forks so by the time we got them our food was cold.the other half was the order was completely wrong so they had to take it back but then that food was cold as well.it was towards the end of the day so its not like it was even busy.

Amazing food, servers are amazing too, I would definitely recommend for breakfast or even lunch. BTW it actually feels like a diner from the movies haha loved it

Really good eggs benny, and generous portion for the price. Home fries were perfectly crispy. And the milkshake had real whipped cream on top. Very cute restaurant, look forward to returning.

I am editing the review to add my breakfast experience.
It was delicious and avery thing was very clean with good service.
Coffee was delicious and food was exceptionally good.
I strongly recommend it.

The burger was amazing.one problem though: it came unassembled! I felt as if I was in Ikea buying a desk!
So you literally have to take the beef patty with your hand, put in the bun and then lettuce and etc. Then add the sauce.
Really Galaxie Diner? What is the logic behind this?

Service was awful, I ordered a veggie burger that tasted like cardboard so I asked to have it removed from my 5 person bill and the manager refused. Do not recommend to anyone

If I could rate this place with zero stars I would. This restaurant is absolutely DISGUSTING. The male manager should find a new profession since he has zero customer service skills. I found a black hair embedded into my eggs. My plate was taken back and I was given a new cold plate of food once the members of my party were almost done their meals. Any other establishment would have not only given me a complementary meal but a manger would have approached the table to apologize and salvage any sort of hope of my party and I returning. Well not this place.the manager said that nothing was going to be done and forced the waitress to relay the message instead of doing his job and telling me himself when I asked to speak with him. I will not be returning and advise against eating at this establishment, especially since the kitchen staff doesn't wear hair or beard nets.

It was very enjoyable. The home fries tasted amazing (seasoned well and not too much salt). The strawberry sauce on the fruit and cream waffle was alittle too much but the waffle was fluffy, light and enjoyable. I recommend getting the waffle without the fruit. The hot chocolate is another must-try.

Food was average, not the greatest but tasted good. Service was quick but not very attentive staff, had to get up and find my waitress to pay the bill.

Highly recommended by locals. Thought the food was good but the service was lacking. We were in a bit before 3pm and the restaurant closes at 4pm. The restaurant was closing around us as the servers were performing their end of day tasks and came to take the salt, sugar, pepper, ketchup etc off the table while we were eating in order to refill them. That negatively affected experience here.

Such great retro decor! The server was very kind and the service was quick. Breakfast was delicious (really enjoyed the way they make the breakfast potatoes) and would go back again!

Ordered a galaxy burger, what I got was a cooked from frozen patty with browning lettuce sandwiched in-between buns that I swear somebody sat on before serving it. After voicing my complaints and returning it, not even taking a single bite, the owner still charged for it. If you're okay with dining at a poorly maintained restaurant that serves food a 5-year old could make then this is the place for you. If you want good food and atmosphere, dine at the sushi place next door to this.
