Best Portuguese chicken in Mississauga. Ordered the family meal with a few extra sides & its by far the best! Flavour and service were great! 100% recommend.

The food is good and was good until they decided to double their prices. 20 bucks for a single meal? What kind of chicken are you cooking?

Tried this restaurant for the first time Saturday. Got takeout, the rice was tasty and well seasoned. My opinion on the chicken is that it could have been grilled longer. Peri peri fries were good as well. Excellent service and restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere.

Great taste as always, I recommend not to ask for hot selection unless you really like spicy food or you are going to regret it in the present and the future if you want I mean

Very bad cx service, and there were 10 ppl standing, and only 1 was taking order
They didn't have another taller sp. On high time, when you made reservations and you're early and don't get your food on time to break your fast +plus kids observing fast too

I ordered platters for a special lunch and dinner at my workplace, and I spoke to Raj, who was very patient and helpful. The food was delivered right at the agreed time, and it was delicious! None of it went to waste. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly forget Nando’s… this place is so good… food quality is way better than Nando’s… ordered a quarter chicken with salad and piri fries and a wrap… everything was so fresh; the chicken was really juicy and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is a “fast food” / takeout place but the dining area is really clean and the staff are very nice! Definitely recommend this location to everyone looking for a good Portuguese chicken place!

I took a chance on this place I’ve never been to before and I don’t regret it. In fact, I’ve been craving it a few times since I’ve tried it couple weeks ago. I just got a medium spicy chicken leg and rice and everything was very tasty. The chicken was cooked perfect and the rice was flavourful and fluffy (not dry at all). Would highly recommend!

Placed an uber eats order and wanted to call the restaurant to confirm something on my order, they put me on hold for 15 mins.came back on the call and hung up. Tried calling them back like 10 times and they never answered. My food arrived and it was garbage.this location sucks.

The restaurant is very clean with lots of room for dine in. The Monday- Friday lunch specials were excellent both times I visited. The portions are large. The restaurant was generous with the chicken and fries.

I have had chicken wings and poutine from this restaurat. Their sauces make the whole difference.

Great experience everytime I visit this location. The associates are quick to help and greets with a smile.

Lemon herb Portuguese chicken is the best I have. Very juicy and lots of flavours. Very generous side dishes rice, potatoes and garlic breads. They are all delicious. Very impressed.

Chicken was undercooked the skin was rubbery, the rice was ok.the potatoes were tasteless and hard.was very disappointed

Online order was made - to that I got the call stating that the prices have gone up and they gave a new total (I do not mind paying couple of bucks extra) - but the food was really bad. I mentioned it was for 12.30 on my order as well as on the phone call - they prepared it earlier and was reheated when i picked it up. I CAN'T IMPOSE that any less. The food was not good at all. NO NO NO - please to the management - work on this. I have been to the place many times before - but the last visit was really bad.

I love the flavors, the fries, the chicken, the rice.
The staff is always very nice.
Some days they are very busy, so If you are picking up your meals, I suggest to order the food with time, so you don't have to wait 20 mins outside.

Very disappointed with food. I bought Groupon voucher for the place and went to remit it yesterday (Jan. 6th, 2021). The Groupon voucher was for Whole chicken, two large sides & 4 buns. When I got there around 5: 45 just before they close, I was told they can fulfill the voucher. I waited until 6: 00 pm to go back in the place as order was ready. When I took the food home & opened the packages, I had 4 legs pieces, 2 thigh pieces, no breast meat at all. Ordered roasted potatoes & they were half raw. French fries were fresh & only good thing. I don't think I even got large order of Fries & roasted potatoes. Too late to call same day as they closed at 6: 00 pm. Tries to call today (Jan. 7th, 2021) asking for Manager/Owner and was told not available. I ask when and they told me tomorrow morning. I have kept the chicken & potatoes so I can bring it back to show to the manager/owner. I shall see when I talk to manager/owner's response on my complaint.

Best food went there last month on perfect Saturday evenings and the staff was awesome provided best service the food was great and the ambiance was good the sitting is very good all together its a perfect weekend outing

Ordered full chicken meal with door dash paid extra fees and delivery fees just to get disappointed. Chicken was not moist at all we had asked for hot so they brushed red pepper flakes all ov, er the chicken with seeds. Horrible.

Ate here a few times. Closing time is supposed to be 10 PM but that's not the case usually. Typically closed by 9: 30 PM or a bit before. Just adjust the time if that's case on your front door and online.

This is a restaurant for family. Great tasting grilled chicken, perignon rice and garlic bread. Place is a lot cleaner now than before.

The platters they offer are perfect for family socials. The chicken can be a bit on the dry side though.

I always had good reviews at this store but got turned off when they close/lock their door 845pm to other customers. I don't know if management allows that, but they are rushing to go home at 9pm. They tell u that they are closing soon so like telling us just to have our food to go, wherein we want to eat in, even we were we came 20mins before 9.
It is unacceptable for them to rush customers esp if it's not closing yet.
If they want to leave early might as well lock your door at 830! !
It can happen that customers can come last minute.part of the business you have to cater.
If you can't might as well don't do service.

I asked the cashier about the Halal certification and she said everything halal. I asked her source of chicken she said maple lodge, I was Lil shocked as maple lodge served machine slaughtered chicken
After verifying manager they told me no it was actually from Cericola Farm. They are certified by HMA (Halal Monitoring Authority)

Fantastic! The chicken was grilled to perfection and was still soft. The Peri Peri Hot Sauce was super hot & tasty.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. Galito's use to be one of my favorite places to eat, given how fresh the food use to be, and location including pricing. I came to Toronto from Vancouver and the one place I was looking forward to was Galito's, when I went there my order was wrong, the spice level wasn't right, the flavours weren't mixed right. My order was not fresh it almost seemed the chicken was very old, had a weird taste. They did not bring us our drinks till much later, I am not sure why the service level dropped including the food. I will never be going back to them, maybe the chef changed and a new owner who knows! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

Everything was good here. Love spicy food, and they certainly deliver. Had to back it down for the kids though. They didn't handle hot so we'll here. So we got the herb chicken for them. Recommended

Great spot for iftar during Ramadan. They serve samosas, dates, watermelon and Rooh afza as complimentary. The samosas could be better, but it’s for free so I have nothing to complain about. I ordered a half chicken with a bun. A friend of mine got the shrimp skewer and another friend got the chicken burger. The food was fresh, served warm and everyone had a great meal. The customer service at this location was fantastic. The ladies working that evening were great and I especially thanked them for being so understand and quick in our service demands after I was done with my meal. I would definitely recommend this location!

Loved the food and lay out of the restaurant!

The galitos on Central Parkway is much better. Overall, the chicken is usually made to order there and the fries are crispy whereas the chicken is sometimes cold from here and the fries are often soggy. Garlic stocks are always good, but drinks are expensive. Basically, it's a 50/50 gamble coming here.

If youre ever craving for Nandos chicken, this is better. Much more affordable and great portion sizes too. The peri peri fries fails to dissappoint.

Honestly, I switched from Nandos to Galitos because they had much better portion sizes and value for the money, yet so disappointed now that they have headed in the same direction of profit over quality and quantity. I always order the double kabob, and today it was THINNER than my finger, and I have skinny fingers! The "caesar" salad is LITERALLY just lettuce and caesar dressing. No croutons, no cheese or parmesan.

I do appreciate they respected a custom request for my veggies however I don't think I will be coming back, my husband was hesitant to come today and I convinced him but I ended up disappointing not only him but myself as well. Sad.

Grilled chicken is ok but they added spices after grilling with so much oil and the chicken was very bland. No taste at all, just a normal chicken BUT this review is mostly about a chicken burger I order, I was devastated with the presentation and the taste of that burger. Tasteless, big bun with blank chicken on the top with so much oil on it, lettuce and two tomatoes with single drop of mayo on one side. 10$burger not worth having there for sure.
And the cashier was just standing on the counter with her phone chatting, doesn't even ask us if we need anything else or if the food is okey. Poor customer service.
Will never go there again! Period.
