If you have to get an xray from GDI come to this location. The ladies at the desk are very friendly and professional. Took me 15 minutes for my elbow xray. Other locations had a 2 hour wait.

If you like being treated like a livestock animal with a numbered tag rather than a human being, this place is good for you. I was told to come in 30 minutes prior to my appointment then rushed through the procedure by a rude technician who did not consider my position as a human patient who might not feel comfortable removing clothing and question barked at me without any reason given. I found it rather rude and unsettling. If you don't like dealing with people, maybe don't go into healthcare. Farm animals are respected better.

Only giving one star for the technician I had.
The receptionist is rude, and doesn't listen to clients concerns. Refuses to accommodate when the client is stating something that is relevant to their scan.

Actually really bad bedside manner. Made me feel really uncomfortable and judged and then told me I wasn’t allowed to see my own ultrasound and never even told me how far along I might be and that I’ll have to wait 2-3 business days? Shouldn’t it be sent when it’s done? And I literally asked if I could look it up on my own thru their app and when I was told yes by one person I was told no by the other all in all very confusing and unhelpful and condescending overall

I have tried to book an appointment for a simple ultrasound for days, calling on successive days, different times and for different locations but failed to get a live person on the phone every time. While holding for an agent, you listen to this recorded voice praising Gam's stellar performance and unparalleled standards and professionalism. It occurs to me that being able to answer the phone and book an appointment is the most basic job this company could possibly do. There's no alternative method to book tests, you can't leave a message and after 10-15 minutes of holding, the system tells you to try another time because they're so very very busy and hangs up on you.

The most terrible receptionists I’ve ever encountered - rude and inefficient. I understand it’s fast paced, but this is not rocket science, considering other reviews, not sure how can they mess up this so badly, my rating for them is negative 10. The only reason I’m giving two stars is for the technicians, they are very friendly and helpful

A well run ultrasound clinic with polite reception staff. When booking an appointment, best time to call is early morning or end of day (near opening and closing hours). There may be a wait to get a hold of someone on the phone, usually between 5-15 mins depending how busy they are. X-ray seems to offer walk-ins, but ultrasound is appointment only. Make sure to always bring referral forms, health card, and show up 15 mins before an appointment. Parking is not free but you can get a stamp on ticket to reduce payment price. LifeLabs is located across the hall from this clinic. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I’ve always had a great time here.

Tried to call three times.was on hold for 15 minutes then as I’m giving her my health card number she hangs up on me.the second time I was on hold for 6 minutes then she answers and then puts me on hold again one minute later she hangs up… third time literally she just hang up.how am I supposed to book an appointment!? !

Impossible to get a mammogram here if you're in a wheelchair!
First of all, the door to the clinic has no wheelchair button to open it!?
Only one receptionist out of 3 was actually signing in patients.others were on the phone.
Driving the wheelchair through the narrow hallway to get to mammo room was next to impossible! The room itself was like a closet.barely able to fit a bulky wheelchair.technologist was unable to do the mammogram.
She did her best, was very courteous and apologetic.
Her limitations to perform her job are the fault of a poorly designed clinic!
I was hoping to avoid this colossal waist of time by attempting to call the clinic prior to coming to ask if they could even accomodate a wheelchair patient but alas, got put on hold and then a recording came on to try and call back again.never got through!
The provisions made to get to the clinic were costly.a private wheelchair taxi was required. Perhaps Gam Diagnostic could re-imburse my sister-in-law who had to go back to her nursing home with no imaging completed!
Private clinics such as this, make tons of money and at the very least, should renovate to make them accesible for patients with mobility limitations!
I suggest You leave your clinic door to the main hallway "open"!

Booked an appointment for an ultrasound at this clinic. When I called the lady on the phone was nice, and she was very clear that I had to be there 15 mins before my appointment. Five weeks later it’s finally the day of my appointment, I was registering 15 mins before like I was told, within 5 mins I was inside getting my ultrasound done. Overall very efficient service.

Today My wife had a ultrasound appointment booked today on Saturday & there building #3075 main entrance was locked. She had hard time finding out that building back door was the only door open. Not everyone drives & people comes in uber also. Many old people also has difficulty going around the back. While waiting for wife i see more than 25 people having hard time figuring it out as there was no sign/ instructions to go to the back sidedoor. On complaint to GDI we were rudely told by the Reseptionist to talk to the building management. I think its there job to do it or atleast put up a sign for people.

Quick and efficient for my ultrasound. Took a bit long to get an appointment but otherwise all good. Place is clean and not overcrowded. Staff were kind and helpful.

Incredibly unprofessional. My appointment was at 11: 10. I showed up at 11: 14 (that's 4 minutes and waited in line to talk to the receptionist. When I finally got to my turn which I waited patiently for it was 11: 17. The receptionist was rude and told me I was late and that they couldn't see me anymore. I stressed that I had been in line this whole time and she was not willing to accommodate for a 7 minute difference (4 really if you count when I showed up)
I've gotten a new date but the receptionists tone and rudeness really leaves a lot of disappointment. I hope the lab does better by choosing polite people on their front desk. I can't speak for the other staff but this receptionist (the redhead lady) is clearly using her position of power to abuse vulnerable people in need of medical services.

Anyone that's been or will be mistreated by this receptionist, and I can see it's been quite a few people based on the comments, I encourage you to leave a review on GDI's Patient Survey. This sort of behaviour really needs accountability.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care and service from Hospital Gate Ultrasound. My daughter had an ultrasound scheduled and we showed up about 8-9 minutes late as it was our first time there and we needed to find the place and where to park. The rude receptionist said that they could not carry out my daughter's ultrasound as there was a patient soon after. They said they called to stress to us to be on time however we only received a simple text message appointment reminder. They called us after we left and left a message informing us of another appointment about two hours later, however it got booked by someone else right away before we could confirm. They then told us if we could come back within 5 minutes, then they could perform the ultrasound! There is no flexibilty in their scheduling whatsoever and other professional medical services I have encountered certainly display much more leniency. My daughter had to wait 6 weeks for this appointment and who knows now how long she will have to wait for the next available appointment with another clinic. I would strongly recommend booking with other ultrasound clinics in Oakville instead of this one.

Nice facility, helpful and expert staff both front desk and tech. Good safety COVID protocols in place too. Felt the need to post this after my experience was so different from reviews, I thought it was actually nice.

Very dissapointing experience. Had my anatomy scan here and was looking forward to this scan especially for months. The technician seemed very cold and they dont provide print outs of the ultrasound for you to take home. This is my first and probably last pregnancy and ultrasound is when you get to finally see your baby for all the suffering you've been going through but it's never a great experience here.

Very disjointed for being refused service only for being few minutes late for my Ultrasound appointment, then rebooked two weeks later!
This clinic should make some accommodation especially during snowfall, etc.
A receptionist should not refuse service without consulting a physician to make sure a patient's health is not affected by further delays.

Receptionist is unprofessional, ignores calls, and is rude and unhelpful. Ultrasound technologist treats you like an inanimate object, rude, uncaring and rough. I only went there because the Oakville Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department appointments are delayed these days. I should have waited. My first and LAST visit to Gama Xray and Ultrasound.

I had an ultrasound. The ultrasound lady or man not sure as the person was fully covered in cloth, treated me very unprofessional. The things used for ultrasound had sleeve not changed it was brought from outside. The cover was basically ripped off me, i felt very uncomfortable. The person mean talked to me when i said it would be best not to do the test, the person continued. To say least i was treated worse than an animal! I will NEVER go there again and i would suggest for ladies to be very careful going there. The only person that is professional in the whole office is the x-ray person. Reception is terrible as well very unprofessional and undermining.

They said my bladder wasn’t full enough to do the scan so instead of asking me to wait a little longer in the wait room, they rescheduled me for 2 weeks later. After already waiting a week and a half already. Staff completely unhelpful. Ontario Diagnostic Center got me in right away.

I can't review for the ultrasound but I was there today for an x-ray and I found the staff to be fine. Not overly friendly but defiantly not rude or harsh. The tech was friendly and asked me questions while I was getting the x-ray to make me feel more comfortable. He answered my questions with no hesitations. At least for the x-ray portion I found this to be a good experience. I was in and out very fast probably 20 minutes for the whole trip.

Moms to be - please look for an ultrasound someplace else, this is not a mom to be friendly place, they have one screen in the ultrasound room, you won't be able to see the baby while in there, nor get a picture at the end. If you're lucky, maybe some low quality printout on a piece of paper. Also, I've never experienced such a frantic scanning experience.which at the end they sent me to the hospital where I spent half a day for no reason with a book perfect ultrasound that was redone hours later. I spoke with professionals while at the hospital and unfortunately they are aware of this place and their practices, and have been dealing with unfortunate experiences similar to mine. I had a short notice to book an ultrasound and yes, this place was available and took me in, but the outcome of it speaks for itself.

The ultrasound techs are amazing kind people. The lady behind the desk is the opposite, terrible customer service, rude & impatient. Leaves a bad enough impression on you that you don't want to return.

Awesome clinic. All of the staff is super friendly. They got me in on a cancellation when I had a time-sensitive ultrasound to be done. On the day of, I hardly had to wait to be seen. They are busy, so just be sure to book ahead!

This place was horrendous.
When I arrived there, most, if not all, staff were behind the desk just chatting. Took them a few moments to interact with me.
As a private paying customer who is no longer a resident but still a citizen of this country, they charged me $170 for a dating scan at 8 weeks pregnant. The technician told me “she couldn’t see anything” so I needed to pay another $170 two days later when there was NO ONE waiting in the waiting room. After I became visibly upset, I told her to try again & then she could “magically” see the baby. She told me to calm down (in such a rude tone & not helpful), printed me horrible photos & sent me on my way. I would never recommend this place & would give them no stars if I could.
Thankfully I found another place where the scan was done correctly, at a more realistic price point & with beautiful staff members.

Zero tolerance for bad customer service!
The front desk didn't write off the parking ticket if the service is not done. This is unfair!
I didn't book the appointment, all papers details supposed to be done by my specialist office and front desk before it. I've spent too much time trying to get the referral, but unsuccessful … and at the end the receptionist refuse to write off my parking ticket saying that the services were not done!
I left so disappointed, but their reschedule the appointment.
The Second appointment were worst. Wrong date rather than my note, No call for reminder and at the front desk I ask for my referral, again papers are missing.and the cherry on the cake: ticket parking paid, because ……
