The new operator, Lucas, is knowledgeable, welcoming and actively working to bring the store into the local community. Definitely recommended

! NEW MANAGEMENT! I had started shopping elsewhere because of the previous management being it bit off. I decided to revisit the store because of some lovely decorations in the windows and had the pleasure of meeting Lucas.

The store has never looked better, the scenery and tables were gorgeous, shelves nicely organized, and I had a pleasant exchange with the new manager.

The store had some of the new products painted and on display, no clutter, and Lucas even informed me on how to schedule table time, invited me back to come and paint and even left me with his card.

It’s like a totally new store. Would recommend another try if you haven’t visited in a while.

I come from the UK, visiting Ottawa, and wanted to check out and see if the Canadian stores were as good as ours. Well I can happily say that after meeting Lucas the store operator that yes they are. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the hobby. Great shop, go check it out!

Went this morning and can confirm the stock issues on all the coolest new models from the past 2 years are just as legit at Games Workshop locations as at other hobby stores i been to. That is unless you have money to drop on Levithan, i cant afford that, i just wanted my kill teams, they had not one out of the literal dozen ive wanted to buy for a long time now, in fact they only had 2 kill teams in stock n there's supposed to be nearly 20 types out now. The clerk however was a great dude, n the best part of the visit, he let me take pics of my custom GWAR army on the table and gave me good tips for fielding them with 10th ed rules. Put some good stock in this guys store, cuz he's an asset.

If your into Warhammer and live in the area this is the shop to goto. It's ran by one employee and he is super helpful and knows his stuff. Goodie of both products, characters and detail supplies available with an easy to use ordering system.

Great store and awesome manager. He knows what he is talking about and is always open to education someone.

Associate went off on a rant about embarrassing his mother in law before ten total words had been shared between us. When my partner asked him questions he would answer them to me. Poor customer service skills. Negative overall experience which has lead to buying my warhammer at any other location it may be available.

Weirdest store hours, they are never open when I try to come buy things. Extra annoying because they are located on the other side of the city, 40 minutes of driving for nothing, don't bother with this store they are never open

Nice exclusives and friendly staff. This is an official games workshop store and the entire product catalog can be ordered and delivered free to the store for pickup. On the store's anniversary there are one time exclusive collectable products

My son was interested in trying out Warhammer 40K and so went inside to check it out and get more information. The associate was very knowledgeable in the subject and covered different options for someone to start.
The store sells everything you need: paints, glue, brushes, etc.
The store also runs free workshops on how to paint figurines.

One of the dirtiest stores I've ever been in. Masks on the floor and garbage everywhere. Will never go back.

I went in looking for a gift with no knowledge of miniatures. The staff member working was very knowledgeable and asked the right questions. He got a good sense of the recipient's interests and gave me many options with different ranges of price and skill required. He nailed my budget and I'm very happy with the result. I'll definitely be returning for these kinds of gifts in the future.

Small shop with very small space to play. The staff is very knowledgeable and bilingual. Not the best schedule making it hard to find time to stop by when you are not in the area.

Really nice store with good selection available. The staff are really informed and really helpful to new persons such as myself to the hobby. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the hours of operations. Took me 3 weeks to be able to revisit due to my work schedule and their hours of operation not co-operating.

Store hours are rough and it's now under new management, prices now are far better at other stores

Great store, easy to get to, lots of parking, and a very helpful customer service team that makes each visit fun.

Went in for Warhammer Day, everyone was extremely courteous and the staff were doing a great job of moving people along. I went in with my one year old and did not feel out of place!

They were closed when we went there. There isn’t one even remotely near where I live so I was super excited to finally go here.

The store looks great with fully painted terrain and armies on display. Lots of inventory for all the Games Workshop game systems. They are very helpful and knowledgeable on all their products. Great experience.

Went in looking to paint custom figures that were not warhammer (halo mega bloks) and got treated with excellent advice and wonderful service!

Store is never open when it says its supposed to be. Very limited on what i can buy so ill be shopping at the other game stores that actually open for regular hours instead of this nonsense. I do not reccomend this place at all

I stopped in to return some gifts I had received over Christmas that were still in shrink wrap. I was told I couldn't return the items as I didn't have a receipt. Being as these were gifts I don't have any receipts. These are newer items that are still being sold on the shelves.

I would avoid this store if you can. Not helpful with returns.

Johanna totally knows their stuff and is a great resource! Always ready to help, and quite fun to talk to about gaming!

Games Workshop is primarily a hobby store, specializing in Miniature War Gaming.

While the staff is light, they do appear to be knowledgeable on the product, and they are often quick to address concerns from the customer base.

The shelves are often well stocked, with any merchandise that is not considered Web Store Exclusive, however should you find yourself requiring a piece of merchandise that does require special order, they will be happy to aid you, and have the merchandise delivered to the store, or to your own residence.

However, if you opt to have this merchandise sent to the store, be prepared for a bit of a wait. As, unfortunately, the combination of UPS delivery practices, and their own offset of business hours, turn receiving your packages into quite a lengthy wait.

I would say that their hours are 50% to blame for this, as with regular business hours, for a retail store, they would likely receive packages more often.

The store is relatively clean, albeit small. If you are an older practitioner of any of the available hobbies from Games Workshop, you will remember when tournaments and games could be hosted, large scale, in these locations.

Unfortunately, this is less their fault, and more a product of the times, as electronic games take over, less people are likely to attend these events, and the need to downscale and prioritize products makes sense.

Should you wish to play small scale games, I've been informed that the smaller tables are available, provided you are patient and give ample time for the dioramas to be cleaned up accordingly.

Staff are polite, respectful, and often do not hesitate to talk to you about your hobby. You can feel welcome here, with the feeling that they too, understand and enjoy playing the very same games.

Four stars out of five, for the reasons I have detailed above.

With improved hours, I would gladly increase the stars to the maximum, and edit this review.
