Greeted right away, guy at the counter was helpful and found me everything I needed! Wish I got his name he was wearing a purple shirt and recommended Pokemon Violet because purple is a great color! Will shop there again for sure!

I tend to go to this GameStop more than any other in the west end. I find it has the most variety of games, and is much quieter than Bayshore and dealing with parking. One thing I have noticed about all the stores is that they have become more merchandise-heavy over the years. I remember several years ago before Gamestop merged, it was more focused on the games.

As such it can be a bit of a luck of a draw to find games you are interested in. Some locations will have it, some won't. While you can look online which store has a particular game you're looking for, there is no one way of knowing how long the game will be in circulation. No obvious indication of stock quantity. It would be nice if in your account you put a game on your wishlist, they can send you a notification when they are running out of stock at your local stores. As well as whether it comes back in stock depending on the age and popularity of the game.

Also, it would be good if they kept a database of what you have purchased over the years. While I try to keep track of what I have at home, a couple of times I bought a game I already had but forgot about so I had to return it. However, that is more for me to make sure of, than them.

Overall always a good experience, The staff are friendly and helpful. Plus they regularly put on various sales and promotions to keep you coming back:)

I went to the GameStop today because a new Pokémon free code event is starting. We've been participating for years getting codes for the kids as we buy each game.

The staff member told me that their stock had not arrived yet but when it does, I'd need to spend a minimum of $15 on Pokémon merchandise to get a free in-game code. This is completely false and maybe a tactic to boost store sales?

This has been a disappointing gamestop experience.

Place has almost nothing, it has a lot of things but it just seems useless, a lot of things this place is selling can be found on Amazon for cheaper

I usually pre-order my games from them but can't always make it in for a launch event because I work like many others do however we all pre order to make sure we can be included in the launch festivities. Saying this I pre ordered the new Zelda tears of the kingdom and went in to pick up my saved copy and was given the excuse that Nintendo didn't send enough pre order bonus when they take preorders to get the numbers for these to be sent in, either they gave extra to their friends or kept for themselves because it sounds like an excuse because I wouldn't take more orders than I could honestly fill that's dishonest, what's the point to pre order if you aren't getting the promised benefits, it's like I walked in random and grabbed one off the shelf like anyone else the preorder I made was a scam

Really friendly and helpful staff and manager. Highly recommend them as it's my go to place for video games, marvel legends, star wars black series and pokemon cards.

Called to enquire about stock on a product and was told there were a “few” in stock. When I asked how many a few is he responded with “I’m not discussing numbers”. Immediately hung up and called Gaming Kingdom down the road and was wonderfully helped so I just went there instead. Easy choice.

I should have put this review in June when I got my Ps5. The two guys that were working there on that day, answered all my questions, helped me with my buying decisions for the game, and more. The best GameStop by far, and excellent customer service

Lots of good merchandise, plenty of new titles in stock as well as you would expect. They occasionally have PS5s, but sell them as part of a bundle. Phone ahead.
