Worked with them three times. First and Second was good, went well, Third time is OK. Overall, if your case is normal. That's fine. It will go well.
However, if your case is a bit special or complex than normal.you need to be prepared, they cannot do anything except negotiation.
The results are depend on your luck. You may need to make concession. They seems cannot do anything to stand by their clients if negotiation is failed. But you can reserve all rights for further ligation action.

The communication of the staff is not timely and poor customer service. They always say that they are busy and do not reply to the email of the customers

I regret not taking the negative reviews seriously, it was an awful experience. I thought a law firm of this size would be professional despite the negative reviews but apparently not. There's no way to get a hold of staff, nobody knows what's going on, said they'll call me back but never did, keep avoiding my questions while assuring me everything's in good hands, but still didn't have all the document to go literally the day before my closing and ended up messing up some of the documents while trying to charge me extra even after I showed them the quote they initially gave me.

We have been going to Mr. Shapiro's law office for many years, We will continue to use Mr. Shapiro and the services of his office for both personal real estate and business without hesitation. We have been thoroughly impressed each time over the past several years.

Our realtor referred garryshapirolaw and we are glad that we used his services when buying our home. Listing the pros and cons.

Pros
- Low fees compared to other lawyers.

- I found his team (Rana, Terence, Kiana) very professional and prompt.

- Seller didn't mention his smart home contract with Rogers in buyer-seller agreement and was threatening us that he will take away the fixtures (thermostat/camera/sensors) if we do not take over the contract. Evan Shapiro and Kiana (law clerk) stepped in and ensure that seller buys out the contract with Rogers and also leave the fixtures as is.

- We had an appointment with Kiana to sign the documents and were waiting for her in the office when Evan happened to pass by. Upon introducing us he said instead of waiting he can help us in signing the documents even though we didn't have an appointment with him. He spent around 45 minutes walking us through documents and answering our questions.

Cons
- Case was handled by a law clerk then Garry himself. (But I was expecting that and was lucky to have Kiana she was prompt and diligent.)

If you want a lawyer that will not remember you, and is super busy that takes 2 weeks to reply.choose them to be your lawyer.even with 2 emails sent.and 2+ weeks go by.you will not hear from them.but once they reply.they will email with you a bill for “their time”.

they are too busy to be on top of things, they are very unorganized, and slow.and they’re pricing is honestly kinda high.premium pricing but comes with nothing that is premium

Avoid this lawyer. Sold my property while living overseas, his law clerk said I had to get the "Wechat" app for remote signing which I thought was very strange. Then after getting my clearance from the CRA getting them to wire my money to me was excruciating. It was returned the first time and I had to beg they do it again so I could purchase a new home where I'm living. I was told out of " courtesy" he would wire the money again the next day. He never went back to the bank to do it. His law clerk said he was working on a 100-million dollar deal and basically didn't have time to help me. In other words I was a far less valuable client. Stay away from these guys.
