The stock selection and quality is Excellent, First rate. Assistance on the floor, also Great. My experience was unacceptable service at the Check out.only 2 registers acting as the service desk including returning products that required a consultation with Management. Ridiculous delays for purchasing a couple of hanging baskets.
I was looking through the lovely clothing they have. Only to be disappointed the sizes are for small, med, or one size fits all. Reality they don't even come close. Perhaps adding a few lines of plus size clothing for a better selection, would be nice.
An employee error meant I drove an hour back home with the wrong (artificial) Christmas tree. When I reached out to the store, they were extremely willing to make it right!
We discussed options and they delivered the proper tree to me within 3 days. Mistakes happen, and good customer service is the willingness to correct it. This was an amazing customer experience.

I really enjoyed looking at all the unique things for Christmas they have. I loved the clothing section. They have such great quality and a very nice selection of clothing. I loved the way everything was put together and placed about, making it easier to visualize an outfit. They have a nice selection of purses. The lovely young lady that helped me choose my outfits and gave me some great ideas. Wonderful staff here
Beware any potential customers, I recently purchased a switch for my hot tub which turned out to work worse than the one I took out. Upon returning to return the item the next day I was told that I was beat and they wouldn’t return the ridiculously high priced $107.00 switch they just sold me. Their 7 day return policy is good for absolutely nothing, and I will never return and nether will my family.
I am only rating as a 1 because there isn't a zero choice. Sale price for a hot tub was not honored when we arrived to make the purchase. Monica, who claimed to be the manager, raised the price from the agreed upon sale price that was promised to us by a much better and more pleasant and knowledgeable fellow by the name of Mark. Due to her rudness, by cutting me off when I tried to explain my conversation with Mark, and her lack of understanding and not offering any other solutions they have lost us as a customer. Their loss of $1000 to $2000 per year in sales. But I guess we are only a drop in their revenue bucket.
The Garden centers always full and well organized, staff is friendly and always ask if you need assistance. The indoor portion is grossly over priced (clothing and pool accessories)
Beautiful garden center with a large selection of plants. Very little in the way of houseplants, so I wouldn't recommend it if that's your focus. If you have a garden, you'll be pleased. Plants are priced a bit high, though.
Always lots of treasures to find at Gary's plus many things do go on sale so watch your sales when things are not on sale prices are fairly high for many items
I am extremely disappointed in the service. We ordered a pool that arrived July 24. We were told it was complete and were given the name of an installer whom agreed to be here the week it arrived. He never showed up, he was contacted over and over again but responded with excuse after excuse. He was supposed to pick the pool up at Garry’s and we found out that he hadn’t only by contacting Garry’s to be told that we were going to be charged with storage if it wasn’t picked up. My husband borrowed a trailer and picked it up himself only to find out that the salt unit had been given to someone else. This has been a nightmare. The installer showed up on the 19th of August and completed the two day project on the 24th. If I was to do this over I would have purchased the pool elsewhere by a reputable company with their own installation experts.
Love the hot tub. But service is another thing.we have gone in, phoned, husband called. No returned calls. Have had temperature problems and one of the jets are not functioning properly. So what do l have to do to get service. Go in and start screaming.
After 10 years of being loyal customer and keep supporting local I think today was my last visit. We are all in complicated situation this days but open door in front of customer and yell "we are closed" just not exceptional. It can be done polite as say: Sorry we have to close but if it's something you grab abd go probably we could help. No. If I add that I was few minutes outside checking if bag of stones I looking for displaed outside and another employee was there - say nothing they closing soon. People were still inside and I will be way faster from there then others but nobody bothered to ask what I looking for. Back to my car and called with hope that manager care more, all I ask to send this young fellow to say sorry for his attitude and I skip publishing this story NO. Nothing we can do, he not going outside. GOODBUY! It might be not so weird if on top of it 2 weeks ago I called to ask if they open for curbside pick up and if any African violets in stock (just because my supplier miss it in my order and I have customers waiting for dish gardens for Mother's day that includes them. Told yes but I have to order online (can't process cc on phone.) OK. Went online, spend time on their most inconvenient website and all of a sudden the pick up day only Monday after Mother day, have to call again with hope they fix it. NO. After all - nothing in stock now. Is it such a big deal to provide correct information over the phone in a first call and appreciate other people time? Hate to give bad reviews as it make me feel the world not as nice as it should be.have to find someone tonight who deserves 5 stars to get life in positive way.
Always a great selection of bright colored flowers and healthy perennials. COVID measures in place, but wished I had remembered to grab a cart from outside before going in️
Very disappointed. Went to pick up my order and no one called me to tell me they didn't have my items in stock. Inline is not up to date. Drove 45 mins. Not nice
This place has the worst website u could imagine.no product list. 90s format, go luck ordering anything from there, ive been on 3 times to find products i was assured were on there. Still nothing, lol dont waste your time, im over it, somewhere else can have my money.
Unfortunately I’ve always enjoyed going to this store as the staff are friendly & helpful, however on May 5th/20 I called & asked about purchasing gift certificates & was told I had to order on line, so I did. They text for me to pick up on May 7th, which I did. On the following day I gave the one certificate to our daughter (150.00) to purchase a tree for her new home as it was her 40th b-day! I wanted it to come from her parents so she could always walk out her door & smile & remember us once we’re no longer here. Upon purchasing she was told they couldn’t except any paper due to the ongoing issues with covid 19. So my daughter paid for it. Why if you knew you’d not except your certificates back as cash would you sell them? Isn’t this a form of fraudulent behaviour? So very disappointed! Not good business Not to mention you ruined a special moment for my family.
Great garden centre. We buy our Christmas tree here every year. Staff is very friendly. Sandra was very helpful with cardigans. Very nice and personable.
Great place for all your green thumb ideas. Shrubs and trees of many varieties. Plants (indoor and out) by the hundreds. Want tropical foliage.they have it. Besides, its beautiful to walk around the beautiful variety of floral and fauna and garden decorations as well. Baskets of variety.fertilizers etc. Think plants.think Gary's in Lindsay!
I shop here every year.the plants are healthy and beautiful.the staff are awesum.the clothing is unique and beautiful also. I'm hoping to purchase a new hot tub there soon.
Great experience yesterday at Garry's Garden Gallery. I needed parts for our hottub and Monica was great, she knew exactly what I needed and offered great advice. I have shopped there for many years but didn't know they sold and had parts for Hydropool spas. Great service! Thank you!
My wife purchased several plants from them last year, in the hundreds of dollar. The plants can with a guarantee, one reason she went there. This spring we lost one of the plant. So when she tried to return it for another one the garden area manager said that her bill was not clear on her purchases and that they would not replace the plant. They were not friendly and made her feel as if she was try to ripe them off. Some advice, if your purchasing anything from there made sure that the correct colour and make is correct. On my wife bill they only put the one colour but she had purchase two plants, both different colours.
