GasFix Inc.is a wonderfully efficient and professional business that took care of cleaning meticulously and relighting the pilots on our home fireplaces. Connor was especially fastidious in cleaning the glass to a shine, and vacuuming the insides to spotless without leaving a trace in our home. He was extremely polite, personable, and patient in showing me how to relight the pilots if they ever were to go out again. They are my go-to for gas fireplaces and are reasonably priced for the delicate job of dealing with natural gas.

I’ve used Gas Fix 4 times now for support with our pool heater and gas fireplace. They have always been so accommodating and professional. The technicians are so knowledgeable and give advice when required.

I called up looking to get my dads freestanding gas stove/fireplace working again. Scott showed up on time to take a look at it. 30 seconds inside looking at the fireplace i wanted fixing, turns out it was condemned. I arranged with them a price for install and they showed up a week later with a brand new gas fireplace. They were quick, efficient, very knowledgable and professional. I'm so use to doing things on my own and if i had tried to fix the old stove on my own, i would have not known the stove was a condemned unit because they have a history of blowing up. So take the 2 seconds and the cost of a certified tech like gas fix and get it looked at by the pros. It could save your life and your home as well!

I was pleased with the service call from Scott today.
He explained the problem that I was having with my fireplace…a venting issue!
He needed to get on the roof and remove a plate from the chimney to help!
He couldn’t guarantee that this would completely solve the problem as it may be necessary to replace the entire vent down the road.
Hopefully that wont have to be done but at least the fireplace is working now!

Upgraded a 20+ year old gas fireplace from old mercury switch. I couldn’t be happier and the price was so much less than getting a new fireplace.

I had a gas fireplace that would not light after cleaning the glass. I had several companies tell me that it could not be fixed and wanted to sell me a new unit, I found GasFix Inc in the fireplace repair search Jason answered the phone and listened to my story. He then directed Scott
(senior tech) to call me. Scott told me they had parts in stock to fix my fireplace (an Instaflame FA20} Scott made a service call within a week. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly and professionally.within the quoted time and price. At the same time he did a thorough cleaning. I was very impressed with the level of the service. Scott removed them, and took them away.
He did an excellent job of cleaning up the area.

Called regarding my pool heater and they were able to send a service tech the next day. He arrived exactly when promised, was able to fix my heater within an hour and the price was based on the quote as provided. Great and friendly service, I recommend these guys to anyone.

The serviceman came with a smile, and honestly covered each and every concern we had.
He showed us everything that what is wrong with the unit, and anything that could be preventive or looked at in the future. Out of everyone he was knowledgeable and patient he was great with our dogs and he was flexible with our time as we take care of Grandpa

Scott restored my 13yr old Jandy Lite 2 pool heater back to life. He replaced the thermopile and thermostat, and cleaned the heat exchanger. He was able to do what other repair techs (over the years) could not. Now I know who to call for my pool heater and gas fireplace service needs.

We have been using Gas Fix for several years now. At our last house, they have serviced and repaired our fireplace and also did the gas line and installation for the garage heater we had. We were always impressed that they called first to let us know when they were on their way. When we needed to replace our fan, they had the one we needed for our Instaflame fireplace on their vehicle. When we moved, we contacted them for a gas line for our BBQ. The technician installed the gas line, installed the BBQ and even converted it from propane to natural gas for us. We most recently used their services near the end of June when we needed to replace our pool heater. When I called the office, I didn't even need to give my name or address. Their administrator found all my info just with my phone number and was already setting up my appointment with the general manager to provide a quote. They even matched the price on the pool heater from another company and even upgraded the installation for us to install a check valve and bond the other equipment. These guys are well prepared and organized. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scott and his team at Gas Fix.

$650 for 45 min to diagnose and replace thermostat. These people should be ashamed. I will go out of my way to tell everybody who will listen how these people went out of their way to rip me off. Invioce is unreadable. Charged for service call too. Includes cleaning that was NOT done. Workmanship likely just scetchy. Avoid these people.

I had the Gas Fix company come to my home to 'fix' my natural gas pool heater as the pilot light would not stay on. They arrived on time, found the issue in a couple of minutes, and went to put in the new pilot light assembly. I asked the technitian the cost of the part, $550.00. I almost fell over, the whole heater is only worth $2000.00. Later I went on line and found the part for $150.00. They also installed a new on/off swith for $150.00. This happened on Wednesday. On Friday I went out at 5: 00 pm, returned at 11: 00, only to find the heater on, no water flowing through the pump, the pipes going into the heater badly heat damaged and the sand filter seized (from what I would guess, over heating). I turned the heater switch to off, heater stayed on. I turned the heater temp setting to low, heater stayed on. The only way i could get the heater to shut off was turn off the gas supply. So what happened, I dont know yet.
What i do know is the heater was just serviced with 400% marked up parts, the temperature switch did not work, nor did the pressure switch. The new on.off switch did not work and I will likely have to replace the heater and sand filter. Beware and shop around

In good conscience I feel that I need to advise potential customers of Gas Fix. This summer we sold my recently deceased sister's condo. We called Gas Fix to repair a faulty on switch on a gas fireplace because we had a pleasant experience with Gas Fix technician in the past. We were told that the technician has moved on and that another technician would be sent. The switched was repaired, but the technician claimed that the fireplace did not pass a flow test and that this is a violation and the gas to the unit was shut off. The technician gave the impression to our real estate agent and our electrician that he was "making work". We decided to have another company come in and check the flow up the chimney. This company did not find an issue with flow, everything was fine.

Had a terrific experience with GasFix! They returned my voicemail promptly, explained the service and labour costs clearly, showed up on time, worked quickly, treated my home with respect and left our dusty old fireplace looking and working like new. Friendly and polite and reasonably priced - we'll be customers for life!
