Excellent day with my Sister. Spent best part of day there and had fantastic lunch at the restaurant. Machines were so fun and we're paying out. The restaurant is so worth eating there. I love alot of the machines there. Staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back
The staff is great the casino is clean but and I wod have given them a 5 on this the winning still sucks and I know not every one can win but some playing time would be nicer if it was longer
Ample parking, and I found a spot in the first row close to the main entrance. The place is very nicely decorated as are all the casinos I've been to so far, well maintained and very clean. My first visit to this location, and my players card worked. I suppose it will work at all the OLG locations. And I left with more money than I came with again, so that's good.
My friend lost his money quickly on slots while my other buddies choked down the worst excuse for a steak ever advertised. I will return tomorrow to win.
I have been in this casino few times and what i noticed here on table games.usually half of card tables is closed and also most of the time one roulette table only operates in order to reduce the winning numbers.another interesting thing about three card poker or mississippi stud table that someone show up and telling we are going to close table in 10 minutes while there are lots of winning players on specific table.however, i didn't see these kind of tricks on other casino.
Win or lose always have a great time going. Me and my wife have been going regularly recently and have seen regular players and got to know some dealers. Dealers are friendly and great to chat with. My all fine favorite dealer is Salty, and is just a wonderful person to talk with and is great to joke around with. Even if she takes my money I wouldn't have anyone else do it, needless to say you go not expect to win but you can expect to have great conversions.
I will agree with other reviews. No winning here. Seems most casinos are in the take, take, take mode. Save your money and get the real Casino experience in the U. S. A. Don't know what happened, our ontario casinos used to be fun and full of excitement. Not so much anymore.
Good number of slots. Some table games. Bigger than I expected. Delicious food at the restaurant, with great service, and an express area for a quick bite.
How sad that this casino is also setup like Casino Woodbine. It was pathetic playing there any game any bets, nothing won. No wonder not alot of people visiting. Poor rewards also.
It's a nice casino. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention. Let's face it, when you win its an awesome place. I've never ever come out a head, always loose here. Try it, you may have better luck.
Went during covid with my girlfriend and we were sitting together (as we live together) this seemed Ok, but of course Covid regulations caused us to have give up a chair so one of us had to stand while other sat. Who comes up with these moronic rules?
Not too crowded. Adequate spacing at machines. Slots were quite loose. Had lunch in the restaurant. Chicken wings are delicious and also the Caesar salad. Service was ok.
Perfect place to kill some time, but unfortunately I wasn’t a lucky winner along with many other patrons. If you’re looking to play table games, the selection is limited. The slot machines never hit bonuses and were all generic games (no movie/tv themed) The best part of my visit there was having a quick bite at the restaurant. The Reuben sandwich with fries was delicious and the service was great.
First time visiting this part of Ontario so just dropped in for a look. COVID protocol in place and was very efficiently done. Lots of slots and a nice restaurant too.
No play at all. They must be making up for lost revenue and covid costs. I did not see very many happy faces on the people that were leaving. Myself included.
Gateway Innovation is my favorite casino by far but I think something needs to be done to reserve seats at tables. I was there over an hour waiting for a seat at blazing 7s blackjack, another gentleman came for 5 minutes and took a seat as soon as he opened I was furious to say the least (especially since he won multiple hands in a row to start and a couple side bets.)
Could have been an altercation but I'm a pretty level headed person I believe something should be done to prevent these situations even just the dealer writing down names on a piece of paper or a marker on the floor to indicate that whoever's there gets the next seat. Could cause altercations between guests since some people lack common courtesy.
Tons of parking. Excellent Covid screening at entrance. Friendly and helpful staff. Huge variety of slots and some tables too. Free beverage station. Great place to throw away some money!
Aug 2021 Update: Came here once things reopened to see how the vibe was once Ford's business destroying 7 month lockdowns were done. I was quite impressed, for a smaller casino there were plenty of machines and a few table games open at high (but I guess 'reasonable') limits compared to other casinos in the GTA plus. Had a few drinks, played some slots, played blackjack for an hour and had a pretty good time. People seemed to be having a good time, I will return
In terms of places you can waste your money, look no further. Personally I don't care for gambling (I went with my grandmother so she may have the support she needed to play slots worry free) but their establishment is clearly well cared for, the staff are very friendly, and the complimentary drinks were well received by both me and my grandmother.
Kicked me out after serving me alcohol and proceeded to call me under age after showing legal identification several times, (I'm 20 in 9 days) and proceeded to tell me I was wasted when I only had the drink they served me. Nobody would tell me how anything works at all, only one polite staff member was the security guy in the parking lot who showed me where I can sit while I awaited my friends. Terrible first casino experience, probably the last.
My wife and I were at the Casino 2 weeks ago. Our game of choice is 4 card Keno. Upon arrival we discovered that there were only two machines next to each other and one seat at one of the machines. I asked an Attendant if I could move a chair to sit next to my wife and was told I could not, but I could play the machine If I remained standing. I stood beside her for 4 hours. My wife recently had a hip replacement and I am going through Cancer treatment. I Emailed the Casino after returning home and asked if this policy could be changed in the future. I did not receive a response to my Email and it was totally ignored. On Sept. 2nd.we returned to the Casino and found that appropriate screening was put in place and we were allowed to sit together. We enjoy this Casino more than any other. Friendly Staff, Safe Clean environment, Great food and feel right at home any time we visit. We will continue to patronize this fine establishment.
So I did give it another try and saw much improvements on the casino's part. They even put the X marks the spot for where chairs are supposed to be but patrons move them around which makes it hard to keep distance. However for the most part patrons are wearing their masks properly.
Just got back from innisfill casino, we went into the restaurant i counted servers walk past our table at least 6 times and did not acknowledge us, a group of 4 people came in after us and were served immediately so we left, slots were tight so won't be returning.
Not as fun as it used to be. You can only play certain machines. And have to sit away from people. Will go back when the stupid restrictions are lifted no fun no need to go
Oh my goodness. LOVED THIS CASINO staff were amazing.free.beverages . Clean clean bathrooms.wonderful.food at the in house restaurant.and I WON 966.14.so what a great time.everyone happy and getting g used to the mask restrictions on place.etc regarding co vid.definitely will.stop.in every time I'm.in Barrie.
So I tried this Casino again a couple of times but as always some of the floor staff and security are rude and less friendly than other facilities. I've mentioned it before if they continue people will stop going especially this day and age of uncertainty. Not worth the hassle. Try somewhere else for a better experience. I witnessed a couple of incidents directed to other patrons that made me shake my head.
It was good. No big winning but got to hear and the noises the machines make. Staff very helpful n courteous. Very pleasant when reminding patrons to keep their masks up n on.
I work there! They treat us like family! It's hard work cleaning the different sections but in some weird way its rewarding! Sometimes dealing with the patrons can be very challenging! Good luck if your going there, remember its supposed to be a fun experience!
Enjoyable experience under Covid protocols, strictly enforced ensuring Customer safety. The entire staff complement were pleasant and helpful. A special thank you to Senior Casino Hosts, for making a difficult period enjoyable for all!
Innisfil Casino it's really really bad waste your time to come in here workers are very rude plus manager and they are not thinking we are human guys don't waste your time to come in here and also give them a just one star.
WARNING: Do NOT go here for "standby" if you are not already a member.
They discriminate against anyone who is not a member.
The front desk manager and staff are blunt and rude when you ask about standby. I felt like I had to play 21 questions to figure out how it works.
Here is how standby works. You show up and give your name, number, and amount of people in your party to the front desk. They apparently enter this information into the system, however no proof is provided. If a reservation doesn't show up or someone leaves before the time limit, they call someone from the standby list. Sounds like you have a chance, here's the catch though, if someone else on the standby list has a membership, they are placed in front of you. It doesn't matter how long you have been waiting. Apparently, the money spent by members is more valuable to the casino then others.
Me and my wife waited on the standby list for 3 hrs on Saturday from 1am - 4am before we gave up and drove away. It's been over a week and have yet to receive a phone call. The standby list is nothing more than a gimmick.
Don't blame this terrible standby system on COVID. This system just goes to show your gambling data is more valuable to this company then bringing in new customers.
Gateway Casino Innisfil has lost us as a customer.
TLDR;, Gateway doesn't want new customers. Manager is rude and unhelpful. Spend your entertainment money elsewhere. Standby is a lie.
The staff here are tremendous. The cleaning of machines is continuous. Congratulations on your hard working staff and attention to detail. Worth the drive from Toronto.
This used to be a favorite casino to venture to. The invitation, reservation and standby process to get in during covid is beyond disaster and disappointment. Understandably, to follow covid guidelines regarding capacity but it is ridiculous that. You need to be a member and have used your card to play pre-covid for corporate to generate an invitation for you to call and reserve your spot. As they allow for waiting in line system in case the "special" invited members leave early and you show up, register for standby, wait outside and they'll call you if there is a spot.but here's another catch, if another member in that standby line that did not receive invite but happen to have played using their card one time more than you, they get bumped up, even if you got there before them! We waited for 2 hours onsite, it has now been 6 hours later and still have not received a message! Corporate needs to realize not everyone uses their cards to play so you can wait until the vaccine comes out to get in. It is very sad that we don't matter, our money isn't valuable because they can't track you if you seldom or never inserted your card into the machines, eventhough we're frequent players! Other casinos have online 50 capacity booking system (that works), not sure why Gateway Innisfil does it differently and makes it difficult for their customers and themselves. Definitely, you lost a customer. I rather take my money elsewhere where we are recognized as a player with money to play. Win or lose, I'd at least be appreciated and have opportunity to enjoy the experience somewhere else!
Have visited most every casino within 2hrs of Toronto during COVID new rules. This one by far is one of the best right now. Loads and loads of available machines. Staff constantly cleaning and sanitizing.
Plenty of available parking.
As for reservations, I already had a player's card but hadn't given them permission to send me emails. That's why I did not receive an invite to opening. A quick phone call cleared that up and I was able to attend on Nov 2, just before 10PM.
This place even has some video poker, roulette, and blackjack available. Will be back soon!
Used to enjoy coming here fairly frequently. It's a shame that they only cater to the high roller customers during the Covid restrictions, unlike other casinos. Knowing I'm not a valued customer, I am unlikely to return Post-Covid. I wager other lower-rollers may feel the same.
Have been going to Innisfil Casino since it opened years ago. Great staff great food. Only thing is that going there this long and having it shut down I feel for all the staff that were out of work for so long made friends with a lot of the staff over the years great people. Glad to see you reopened. Only thing that disappoints is being an elite member and not getting an invite or at least an email letting me know how to reserve a playing time at the casino. Hope to be back soon love your casino at Innisfil
Frankly I find the “rewards” invitation pretty appalling. Lots of people go to Georgian Downs and decide not to collect rewards. So I guess Gateway gets to decide who spends the most based on rewards and those are the individuals that get invites. Why is it that Shorelines Casino for example allows anyone to book a time slot as long as it meets the 50 maximum mandated by the government. I assume Gateway is happy to discriminate based on the wallet size.
Gateway Innisfil is my go to place for fun, relaxation and good food. The restaurant staff are friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the floor staff and managers are friendly and helpful. I can't wait until they open knowing I will feel safe with the precautions they are putting in place.
The place is big, but the event I found that there should have been more options for food just not one vender. Also very expensive especially for families. U gotta pay entry fees and over priced fries and burgers. The event did not disappoint, a lot of awesome crashes and jumps!
Privatize a company like a casino and all they do is take and take No winning no bonus rounds and no fun anymore When olg owned them they were fun and you had a chance to win now good fat chance at that Pretty sad that they take advantage of us all instead of letting you have some fun
Not impressed with the way the casino's restaurant takes its time with the clients. We spend lots of money in the casino It would be a good idea to take care of the ones who eat in the restaurant. We order two meals it was not very good. Rubin sandwich was on soggy bread. Very small portion. We also ordered the fish. Poor quality of fish. At least it tasted like it. The wife won something in a text message draw.we ask the manager for something different than what she had won she just said no.and walk away. Not very good customer service skills. Since when did you not give a discount for having a club card. Maybe that's why the restaurant looks empty most of the time I go.
This is a fun place, the table minimum's are pretty high for what I would consider a smaller casino. Other then that it's a fun place to kill some time.
Very poor service and always loose they don't pay out anything I won a jackpot once on slots they froze my machine and took away my jackpot biggest scammers ever dont waste your money
This is a mini-Casino compared to Casinorama (Orillia) but it has the following live tables: Black Jack, Roulette, Baccarat, Casino War, etc. I’ve spoken to management a few times about offering varied minimum bets (e.g. $10 & $15 vs. $15 on all) on the tables to mix up the experience and get more people gambling instead of playing slots. It doesn’t have live Texas Hold ‘Em Poker tables so you’ll have to go to Casinorama or Niagara for those. The dealers and staff here are all very friendly but don’t expect a “big experience” when you go here – for instance, the restaurant is “okay” but not fantastic and it doesn’t have a nice, sit-down bar. Innisfil Casino does have a very large and varied offering of slot machines if that is your game. Innisfil is a great option if you don’t want to drive far to Casinorama or deal with the horrible parking & set-up at Woodbine. Most of the reviews on here don’t take that into account. It also has seasonal horse racing and live track betting which can be a lot of fun, but the racing accommodations look a bit dated.
Really nice but the live table minimums are far too high for a small-town Casino (Roulette, Spanish 21, etc.). Mulitple tables should allow for the minimums to be varied but $15 for Roulette and $25 for Black Jack just get customers to play for less time or not even try them out. A few friends have written to management about this issue. Good selection of slots and great parking on site. A great place if you don't want to drive to Woodbine or Casinorama.
Gateway has a total melt down today at casino rama, machines frozen and not cashing out, very limited attendants, and managers just saying might have to wait two hours or more instead of being helpful
