It was a pleasant night out decent machines the only issue I had was the food. Now I'm not a picky eater by any means but this food was definitely not worth the money I paid for it. The first dish was an appetizer which was the lobster/crab dip with pita bread.that was decent in taste however it was very very thick. The next dish was the seafood pasta. It tasted very bland, the noodles were ok, the seafood itself was very mushy, nothing tasted quite right even with the added salt and pepper. The garlic knot that came with it also had a similar seafood taste to it. Just not pleasant tasting. Will try something else.
Small casino but has lots of variety of slots available. Not many table games though. The casino was considerably dark on the outside so it was hard to find. Otherwise, everyone was friendly. They're only open until 2am. Great food choices in the restaurant. Free drinks (pop and coffee). Overall not bad.
Terrible service and environment. Live tables are expensive and only open after 5. Waitresses were rude and not a soul had a smile on their face other than security.
Friendly staff and great host for us to Boondock in Sault Ste Marie. Parking lot was quiet and even though others joined in boondocking there was plenty of room for everyone. Staffing security made us feel welcome. There was a nice restaurant inside the casino as well.
I had slipped off the high chairs at the roulette table, then got refused to have a drink afterwards due to the fact that I was “too drunk”, while only having one drink and a shot. I understand that they were trying to do their job, but at the same time they also told my friend who was sober As well that she couldn’t have a drink because she was with me. I am from Niagara and have never received such terrible service when willing to pay money to enjoy my vacation. Will not be coming back.
No tables at this location. If you like playing slot machines then you'll be in the right place. Complementary pop and coffee and water given out. That was a nice touch except for when I went to go out for a cigarette I was not allowed to bring my coffee with me to the smoking section. Oh no I won't be going back anytime soon but I'm hoping the new casino will have a lot better layout entertainment and games.
No tables. Clean and small if you like slot machines or video poker. They let me park my RV in the lot and security is present so I gave it 2 stars. Drinks at the bar are underwhelming and precisely measured. It could be so much better. Not a high-end casino.
Good if you like/wish slots only. Tables for poker etc were unmanned on our Sunday visit. Restaurant is minimalist, operates 12 to 8pm, and little more than quick food/burger joint. Tim Hortons, and most burger joints offer significantly more. Overall a dark, dingy, depressing dumpy place. At least it did not smell.
This is a basic casino with no table games. The sign in process is inefficient so it takes a while to get in, although it doesn’t seem very useful. They have some electronic table games including craps, blackjack and roulette. I would simplify the process to enter and add table games to improove the place.
It was great to go to the casino. It was prepared for customers meaning that the slots were taped off so customers were not sitting close to each other. There was no restaurant available and no water, coffee or pop available for the customers. It was very disappointing.
Love going to the casino with my fiance and having fun the worker nice smiles and very polite and other people happy and enjoying time out of their house instead of being at home. All I can say is keep up the good work. And that's why the customers always come back. Have a wonderful day and enjoy to the people that are going their
It's kind of good they've shut the doors. My Grandma spent my entire families inheritance here at literally three slot machines. She lives in a shopping cart now with like two teeth left.: (
My wife and I traveled to Sault St. Marie (USA side) and decided to hop over the border and check out this casino. It was a down to earth, no frills casino with mostly newer games. We made our donation and had a pretty good time doing it, mostly because of the friendly service which I would expect from Canadians. If we're in the area, we will return.
The place is a joke. It doesn't have the all the tables open at night, even when you ask for a dealer from the pit boss they refused to get one said the roulet table only plays twice a week.the slots don't high jackpots and have been turned right down so you never win. You are only allowed 2 ahcolic drinks and are way over priced. I would rather go over to the american side at Kewaidin so much better there on everything i mentioned that was wrong with this dive. I will not be going back
A smaller casino with some new games but generally older classics. It use to be 24 hours but it now closes in the early am. Located downtown and near the american/canadian border for easy access. I personally prefer the restaurant more than gambling, but it can be a fun night out with friends for events. For example, Thursday night Lady's night.
Very friendly staff. Went for the breakfast special which was a great deal. Food was fast and hot. The homefries are excellent. Servers are second to none. We gambled a bit. The casino was very clean. We will definitely return.
Smaller casino. Minimal table games. Dealers don't always have the best customer service, but there are good ones. Excellent promotions! Still worth visiting for a fun night out in the Sault.
A mask and bandit outfit that no longer has any fun or entertainment value unless you get off on feeding them all of your money in a short time with no return and going home shortly thereafter bummed out about it. It is unbelievable that anyone would even still go there these days when you have that losing feeling before you even enter the premises. It used to be a whole lot different as you could actually break even or perhaps even leave a few dollars ahead but now they might as well have a box inside the front door where you can walk in and deposit all of your money, turn around and go home to save you the frustration of not winning anything ever. A good place to stay clear of, especially if you can''t afford to be there in the first place.
Burned through all my money within 10 minutes. Was there for about an hour and nobody won anything. Was told I shouldn't even waste my time here and go to the casino across the bridge in the US as it's much better Too many penny slot machines as well.
Lacks Service for people that are anyway Disabled. Doors to enter are Knuckle Busters, very narrow! I suggest if you win big on slots, Go Home! You are Lucky once, Do you really think the Casino is set up to lose all the time? I send this post from experience at the Casino! Enjoy!
I'm not a big casino fan, but my mother was. So our entire family met up there to have a toast for her. We each played some of the games, slots, roulette on video, and others. It's not very big, but it was fine for an evening out. I think they sometimes have local bands that play here. They serve alcohol, not cheap, but it was OK.
Nice facilities, just a very low win rate, not just by myself, but everyone I saw over a four hour period on a Friday night. Improve the odds, and I guarantee we put all the winnings right back into the machines. And the bar, and the restaurant.
Average casino for a small town, I wouldn't expect anything more. The layout could be better because when the place is packed with people, it's hard to get around.
Table games don’t open until after 6pm. And when they are open on a Friday night, only three or four to choose from. I wish there was a craps table. Tight slots. Never really see many winners. Really disappointing casino.
