Gear Music is a FANTASTIC store. Whenever I go in, I am treated so well by ALL the employees. Honest prices and UNMATCHED service. The repair shop is second to none. Repairs are handled professionally and quickly. EXCELLENT STORE. Thank You.

If you don't want to read the whole story, let me just say YES! Incredible service. YES! Great selection. YES! Good people. YES! Incredibly happy with experience and product. YES! Absolutely will be a return & return again customer as long as I have a breath in my body. YES! I would highly recommend making your next purchase from Gear Music; I promise, you will not be disappointed.
Now, let me take you back to a few weeks ago when Gear Music saved my year!:)
So here I was, eagerly anticipating the release of a certain limited edition 'dream' guitar I had set the money aside for. I had been waiting nearly a year for the release of this guitar and though I knew what month it was coming out, I had no idea what the official day of release was suppose to be.
As the month of release drew closer I began frantically trying to find the actual date of release to no avail, however I had never had an issue getting anything I desired in years past from my local (NOT Gear Music) music store.
I should point out here that I am basically on the opposite side of the province from Gear Music and at this point I actually had no idea Gear Music existed. (I KNOW RIGHT? ! Like what kind of hellish crazy existence is that? Completely ignorant to a legend such as Gear Music. SHEESH.glad I woke up from THAT nightmare.)
Anyway. My local music store didn't have an exact date either so I said I'd keep checking in and long story short, was less then impressed with this OTHER stores 'help' and communication at this point only to find this guitar of mine was apparently all but sold out.after years of fairly good service, I was very disappointed to say the least.
After feeling like I was cursed and the dream was all but gone, I soon found it was all just a great work of fate and a blessing in disguise.
After gathering my wits, I knew it was time for something new so I thought I'd do a quick google search to see what other stores were out there and if there was anyone else that could help me.
This was the best move I ever made.
I searched 'Music Stores Ontario' and Gear Music was on the first page. They were among a few stores I further researched by social media and store websites but it was Gear Music that stuck out to me so I investigated further and WWHAAAMMMMOOOO BOOOM, what do I see? Upon searching Gear Music's Instagram, THERE IT IS, It's my dream guitar right there, staring back at me!:)
I was so excited and it only got better from here.
I immediately contacted the store by email and was contacted by this amazing person named Scott within less then a half an hour who confirmed they not only had the guitar in question but it was still available; I was beyond ecstatic!
Long story short, after exchanging a few messages and great conversation (with my new friend on the opposite side of the province) in the late morning on a Tuesday, my dream came true within less then 24 hours and was here the very next day on early Wednesday. WOW!
The guitar came in absolute perfect shape due to the amazing packaging and care and I absolutely adore it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN to Scott and everyone at Gear Music!
I adore your kind help and service just as much as I adore this amazing new guitar of mine.

Very friendly and helpful. My son was able to try different ukuleles until he found the one he loved. Much better experience than online shopping.

The best music store in Ontario for me. They always get the best equipment, and have the best trades and deals. The employees know their inventory inside out, and have always answered any questions or possible concerns. Thank you Scott, Tim, and staff for everything. See you soon!

I came across this local Canadian business online while searching for a specific product, it was hard to find but Gear had it in stock. The customer service I’ve received here is simply beyond five star. Scott has been so responsive and helpful, patient with all my questions. Shipping was processed very quickly the next business day. Brought my guitar in for a setup/intonation after purchasing it from its previous owner. Not only did it come back playing perfectly, the turnaround time was blazing fast. Also, this particular guitar has a matte finish which is really touchy about any sort of oil or grease. Thankfully, it came back looking fresh as a daisy.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the gents that helped me out over the last week. Had two guitars serviced. Every interaction I had whether it was over the phone or in person, was top notch. Extremally respectful & knowledgeable staff. Took the time to answer any questions I had & were very welcoming. If you are looking for a proper & honest shop make sure you give them a shout. They got both my dads old acoustic & my grandpas old Jazz master sounding perfect after sitting untouched for 20+ years.
