Gee Beauty

My experience at this place was quite disappointing, and I cannot recommend it. I initially went in to request an appointment for eyebrow lamination. After I was seated, they told me to come back the next day, which felt a bit disorganized.

When I returned the following day for the lamination, I ended up spending over 500 CAD in total on both visits.

I decided to have a facial, but we never discussed the type of facial I wanted because the expert needed to assess my skin first. Unfortunately, due to an intoxication I couldn't make it to the facial appointment. I informed them in advance to reschedule not cancel but they proceeded to cancel the appointment and charged me 480 CAD without our agreement on the facial type.

I travel frequently around Europeans north anmerica and have never experienced such poor customer service. It was truly disappointing.

This is a very nice beautiful place! I was left with a pleasant impression from communication, attention and help.

Be very careful, their gift cards don't specify (ON THE CARD) whether they can only be used online or in store. You might get a bad shock at the end if you thought the gift card was able to be used in store. *the facial was fine.

I had the most incredible facial with Carolina at Gee Beauty. The products felt and smelled great, and my skin feels amazing now. I was given lots of info about my skin and products, but also lots of quiet time for relaxation. Bonus - the most relaxing neck and shoulder rub I’ve ever had, and samples! Will 100% be returning.

The staff is incredibly nice and very friendly, they made me feel comfortable and well, I went to have my eyebrows waxed and dyed and I loved the job!

Love my Gee girls and everything they recommend! It's always a treat to visit the store (when we're not in lockdown). From facials, to paparazzi make-up applications to new great products.

I was a complete stranger one year ago when I walked through the doors of Gee. I was there to get a product recommended to me.and was greeted by Jessica. Warm, friendly and very helpful. I was hooked. The people at the front desk (Sherri, Velul etc.) were also friendly and customer focused. One year later it is my one stop place for brows (Cristina) and facials with Asia. My skin has never been better and the makeup tricks and updates with Jessica are the best. They carry superior products, including their own, and I am a loyal and repeat customer.

This place is no good at all.owners and everyone working here seriously needs a reality check.their 6 store is also a nightmare! Found this posting on their 6 page and thought i should share as i had the same experience with both of their stores.

"Can this place be any more pretentious, phoney and overpriced? I'm not even going to talk about the disingenuous friendliness and snide remarks behind your back because this is obvious upon walking in. What I will say is that their overpriced brow shaping is atrocious. Natalie's mom told me that Natalie is "the best" and "a genius" and that the price paid includes Natalie's expertise and is worth every penny even if she only removes one eyebrow hair because that will absolutely make the look. Hahaha, O-kay mom! Well, Natalie was working on both my brows and the brows of another person during my appointment. That's right, like a medical doctor, the genius double books. Anyway, she spent most of her time chatting with the other person complete with airy hand motions and did a really rush job on my brows. When Natalie was finished, it was a really bad job and even she admitted that she "missed a few hairs" while her mom beamed on proudly. I was very unhappy with my brows and upset at the ridiculous price charged for sub-par work. And this entitled brat expected a tip for this sub-par work too (which I provided but now regret)! Unfortunately I had a job interview later that day and brought my bad mood to the interview (although I tried not to). To conclude, unless you are part of the gossipy, entitled & cliquey crowd that cloyingly greets each other by name here, you will not get good service. You will, however, have to pay the same fee - more, actually, since I noticed Natalie giving freebies to her favourites. I will never come here anymore and I will never spend anymore money here. This place is an example of the worst Toronto has to offer in terms of the "I am better than you" and the "Not our people darling" mentality. Oh, and Gee people - you are NOT the home of Canada’s only Le Labo fragrance bar - stop misrepresenting yourselves. "

My Happy Place
There is nothing quite like the feeling when you walk into Gee Beauty. The team are incredible, friendly and knowledgeable. The Gee Girls have definitely created a brand that aligns from the moment you step into the store, through every treatment and with every product. Its pure magic.
Facials and brows are a must at Gee.they also have their own branded products. I swear by the eye make up remover and their new lip balm.

I have not used their beauty services before, but I am a frequent customer of the skincare and makeup lines that they carry. My skin is combination/acne prone, and their advice coupled with just a few key products has really helped clear up not only any existing acne, but older discolouration as well. My skin looks very fresh and smooth now, even without makeup!

I love their Prime Skin and concealer stick makeup products. While I don't tend to wear make-up on a daily basis, these products are great for my skin and have not personally caused any breakouts or clogging of pores. I hate makeup that feels "cake-y", but these products feel very "breathable" and light.

Just had my brows threaded by Christina. She was very friendly and ready to see me right away. We had a conversation regarding my wishes for my brows and what I thought needed to happen. She was very accommodating of my needs while also telling me her opinions. She spent a good 20 minutes threading and plucking and brushing my brows. So happy!

I have never had a bad experience here or think it’s over prices. Yes, it is expensive - you’re in rose dale & your getting a fave lift. Yes it’s hard to get an appointment - prebook. I always leave here happy, the only thing I would say is for it to feel more warm but then again- rosedale. I love getting services here & have yet to find anyone to do better for what I personally need.

A few weeks ago my wife was telling me how arrogant and disrespectful these snobby girls are.i DONT know how there are so many good reviews in here. It is extremely overpriced and my wife caught a reaction from the facial services.she felt extremely embarrassed and when she emailed them there was no answer.the girl at the front desk was unhelpful and no refund at all.the services are not worth it at all and there is no point in even trying to converse with them again.

Terrible service: (been here a few times as my friends liked it at first and front desk girl with terrible dip dye hair jessica extremely rude and fake. The "doctors" or whomever also have weird fake personalities. The owner old lady also forces you to buy things.these girls are on their high horse yet they are nobodies.try hard c list social climbers who wish their company was top tier.you're better off getting your makeup done at MAC or instagram artists.also their services do nothing.

There is no better place in Toronto for a facial. My first time at Gee Beauty was about 4 months ago - I made an appointment for a pre-facial consultation and everyone was so nice. Don't believe any negativity about this place - I was nervous the first time going in, but I can't believe I felt that way. The nicest staff works there - they truly care about you and how your services are. I've become a loyal customer and my skin hasn't looked better. If you're considering it, don't wait any longer. Your skin will thank you.

Jess has done my makeup 5 times now and every time I leave GEE I feel and look fabulous! It's also just such a fun afternoon going there! So fun. Days later still thinking about it
