The phone systems will never get you to a person. To address my repair ticket, it sent me online. The tech online said they can't help me and I have to physically go to the store to talk to someone. I'll buy my next computer elsewhere.

The service is very poor, the attitude of the staff is very bad, they are arrogant, they don't listen to what the guests say, they think they know everything, and the problem is not solved. I don't recommend it at all. The service is too bad

I called Geek Squad to get some help. My computer was not connecting to Skype and I had a very important meeting. I'm paying on a monthly plan. No one even picked up the phone. It rang and then was silent!
I had to find someone else to virtually take over my computer to fix the issue. That said I only tried calling them once. Perhaps I would have gotten through if I tried again

Customer service is 0, the worst experience I had in my entire life if negative was a rate, I would definitely give it… didn’t tell me about any cancellation fee before 6 month, took me a very long process to Cancel my subscription. I won’t personally suggest this system or subscription. Please improve and do better for the customers you have paying every month for no use at all.

If there was a way to give this location negative stars I would. Please people, for the sake of your hard earned money, do not take any of your electronics to this location for repairs. I gave them an Xbox One cause a disc got inside and they gave me back an Xbox One that didn’t turn on and would no longer allow discs to enter, saying the Xbox was broken from the time I brought it in. I’m going to be launching a lawsuit against them, that’s how bad it got. Just hoping this message gets to people so they don’t go through the same things I am with this awful service provider.

Geek Squad will rip you off. Went in to see if i could get my laptop fixed told me that i needed to get my entire motherboard replaced costing upwards to 900 dollars. The guy seemed nice enough. I then got a second opinion from IGN and they told me that what the guy was selling was BS. So i got it fixed for 90 dollars AND the fixed more than whan GEEK SQUAD said they would. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Takes long time just to check, and extremely high price charging you before fixing your device. And FYI if you are paying the money when you first time there, and after they give u the actual price of fixing it and you don’t want to fix, they money you payed at first they won’t give you back.

Nathan D and (I can’t remember his name) his partner came from Barrie to set up a DVD/karaoke player for my mom.

My sister said they were outstanding and I agree. Personable, fast, knowledgeable! They answered all my mom’s questions and Nathan D even wrote down instructions for her on how to use it- which buttons to press. He tested the mic and showed her how to adjust the effects.

He even adjusted the tv’s settings so it wouldn’t burn out the led tv. Above and beyond.

They were friendly and so helpful. My sister said her previous experience with Geek squad wasn’t like this.

Thanks Nathan D! If I had to use them again I’d request Nathan D again!

Never ever again. First of all, when I performed my warranty claim, they sent a tech contracted by them to come to inspect my Sony xbr65x850e where I was told it would take two weeks before I heard back. Never received a call after the time elapsed and I had to call customer service who then told me I would receive an auth code that could take up to 10 business days. I waited for 15 business days before I called back. I had spoken with a girl who stuggled to speak in English and said I had to go to Bestbuy to complete the exchange by providing my incident number. I called back immediately as it did not feel right but opted for the French line and the rep who picked up was able to provide me with the auth code. Fast forward, geek squad "installers" arrives with the xbr65x950g to install and I've never felt so much anxiety in my life. They had to mount then unmount, to measure again and remount and had even managed to break one of the previous wall mount arms during the process! The tv was touching the sound bar and the back of the tv was scratching the wall. Who the hell hired those guys? Once mounted, I had to point out on numerous occasions that the tv was not straight unlike the soundbar previously installed by other more qualified installers. The frustration having to remove the scratches off the wall after they left was also infuriating. I will never ever under any circumstance use geeksquad for their warranty and TV installation services.
