Purchased a custom ring from Gem Bijou. Worked with Sam (the owner) and he delivered exceptional customer service. Fair prices and quality workmanship. Extremely happy with the purchase and overall interaction. Highly recommend.

Horrible customer service. My husband purchased a Swarovski necklace set for me and confirmed it with the owner, Sam that he can exchange it in case I didn’t like it. When he took it back to the store, Sam took the necklace back and said that he’s getting new stock so we can pick something new. Since then (more than a year ago), my husband has called numerous times and left messages. He had to call private so Sam would pick up his call and when he did he refused to give us back our money or choose a new set.

UPDATE: The owner responded claiming that we ordered a custom ring which we never did. My husband called once to ask the price for a diamond but NEVER placed an order with him. The owner is going against his word and won’t give us back our money or what we actually paid for. There are plenty of other better and honourable jewelry stores in Toronto that I would recommend.

I hope more people who had experience like mine with this company call them out for what they are. Just wanted people to know don't do business with this company they are corrupt, dishonest and liars. My husband ordered a watch from this oris aquis watch July 12th. We keep writing them and calling them leaving them messages. Finally after 10 days they reply. This watch we bought through pay bright was for a wedding on Saturday july 23rd. Today they cancelled the order. Instead of sameh giving me a good reason for not telling me why the watch wasn't shipped he cancelled because I complain about it. If you go to there website gem bijou and search TISSOT T-RACE THOMAS LUTHI 2019 LIMITED Edition you are going to see this watch us in stock online but yet still they cancel my order on pay bright for the TISSOT T-RACE THOMAS LUTHI 2019 LIMITED Edition saying its not in stock. Don't do business with these people they are corrupt, liars and dishonest business dealers.

Ordered my first watch from Gem Bijou and I was very happy with the customer service and quality of merchandise. The team at Gem Bijou were more than fair and they sell high quality watches! I strongly recommend visiting their site or store for a great deal.

Poor experience personally. I am new to Toronto and wanted to check out this store as I am a very keen watch collector. I phoned the store to see if they were open before heading there, I was told "Well we are here but nothing is on display, what do you want? I said I was hoping to browse their selection but that was apparently impossible. I also emailed them about a specific model and never got a reply. I ended up buying two watches the same day from another downtown store and the service was top notch. If you aren't going to be open when your website says you are, I suggest editing it.

Remove your sold online listings please! I tried to buy an watch online, and you cancelled my order because apparent it's sold?

Due to Covid-19 lock-down the only choice to purchase a watch these days is online. Gem Bijou had great discounts, therefore I ordered a Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. Shortly after completing the order I received an email from Sam who explained the watch I ordered online was no longer in stock. Hamilton upgraded the movement on those watches but he could offer the newer model with upgraded movement at the same discounted price I saw online. He also explained that it may take a few days for him to get the watch shipped from manufacturer. Shipping was within 2 days once I received notification from Sam that the watch was received by his store. I will not hesitate to use Gem bijou in the future.

I have purchased two watches from Sam in the last 6 months. Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th anniversary, and a Longines Heritage Classic.
I only wish I had met him sooner; I have an extensive watch collection and when I met Sam, he got to know me well. Sam is extremely knowledgeable, cares for his customers, and is genuinely a nice person. The customer service is top notch and I HIGHLY recommend Gem Bijou.

On March 28 2020, I ordered a black dial Hamilton Khaki Field from Sam (Owner) through Chrono24. When I received the watch, it was defective as the minute hand was bent upwards and so every time the second hand came around it collided with the minute hand and the movement jammed. I reached out to Sam to advised me to send the watch back and that he would issue a refund along with reimbursing me for return shipping. The whole time he was never apologetic and even seemed annoyed and aggressive over the phone. I shipped the watch back and when he received it, I called him and he said that he no longer had any black dial in stock but he could offer me a white dial or a Black PVD version. I took him up on his offer for the white dial but then he said he would no longer be reimbursing me for the $20 return shipping because its a "straight exchange". I'm really confused then as to in what scenario he was agreeing to reimburse me the return shipping then as in a return scenario, he still won't reimburse me. Same passive aggressive and annoyed tone, he said the return is out of his control since its Chrono24 doing the refund. So as of today, I have returned the watch, I have not been reimbursed for the return shipping, I have not received my money back for the watch and I have not been given an option where I am not losing out due to him sending me a broken watch to begin with.

I received excellent service here for repairs done to two of my watches. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable. Wide selection of fine watches as well. Highly recommend!

This jewelry store is a gem in the heart of the financial district. The staff at this location is wonderful and provide exceptional customer service.the items they have in store are modern with affordable prices. If you had to purchase an item for a special occasion I wouldn't go anywhere else but this store.

Great customer service. I called Gem Bijou for HAMILTON KHAKI FIELD MURPH AUTO H70605731 - with specialty box (Interstellar tesseract). I was informed about the product in detail. The representative sent me photos of box/watch on my phone while I was conversing for my reference. I was guided properly for complete online order. The order was sent immediately for shipping.
And Ofcourse, the watch is magical! Eureka

This is an awesome jewelry store! The service is top of the line and they will go out of their way for the customer. I bought my engagement ring five years ago and needed to get it cleaned and fixed today. I also wanted to appraise it, so instead of coming on another day to pick up my ring and get it appraised, the Gem Bijou team really went out of their way to get everything done on the same day.

Sam takes really good care of his customers and is super friendly, honest, and trustworthy. His prices are also quite reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I first came in the store a few years ago looking for a very specific watch. I’ve been back many times since then for more watches and even some jewelry lately. The service is impeccable, the prices very reasonable and Sam has a magical way of getting even the rarest of Oris limited edition pieces. Above everything, you always feel like you get both quality and value, which is rare. Highly recommended!

I went to Gem Bijou while looking to purchase a nice watch for myself. Brent was extremely helpful and patient as I looked at a few different watches. Overall I had a great experience - everyone in the store was friendly and I will definitely return.

Fantastic customer service and incredibly nice people.

Had a sizing problem with my wedding ring and they got it resized immediately. As my ring was a cobalt ring, it had to be shipped to the original manufacturer with a small restocking fee. The owner waived the fee as a wedding gift, very unexpectedly.

Would have no problems buying from this place again.

I purchased a Tissot Seastar chronogragh from Amazon at a cut rate price which came from this shop as their stamp is on my warranty card. The reason it was a cut rate price is that the watch wasn't holding time. I brought it to a Swatch repair center and told me that the mechanism is faulty. Luckily the watch is on warranty (only a month and a half since purchase) and the company will replace the entire mechanism and battery. The repair shop told me that the watch is good for a second a month loss, not the 3 minutres in 9 days that I experienced. Shame on them for putting a watch like this on the market, it was under handed and just plain fraudulent as they must have known the watch wasn't keeping time thus the cut rate price of $480 or so. Unbelievable.

I arrived near their closing time without knowing beforehand and yet, they were still very friendly and willing to spend the time to talk about the watch I was interested in. Great store.

I would first like to comment on the discourteous, ignorant and uneducated salesmen serving as the face of this store. These uneducated and impudent men are selfish and could care less about addressing your proper needs. They are truly in it for a sales pitch while possessing egotistic mannerisms.

Secondly, their atrocious behaviour towards particular "races" is sickening. In this sales-based industry, one should be demonstrating good customer service, with educated staff who have respectful manners which this store lacks. I would rate this zero stars if possible.
