Worst service ever! The lady at the cash register was so impolite when I got my order I didn't want to eat it, the food was not good at all. I got burnt chicken, not jerk chicken.never again!

Its not even a restaurant, you feel like its a place where you throw a garbage that s how untidy it is.and how can you eat food from restaurants like this

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I’ve been there once and received old food so the next time I came in I asked the cashier if the food was cooked fresh and she said no with attitude then went on to continue cleaning so I left. Will not be eating here again and if you know what’s best for you, you won’t either.

The food used to be delicious but not anymore. The jerk chicken was not jerk chicken. It was roasted chicken with some spice. The rice and peas tasted like white rice and even though I added gravy it was VERY dry. Don't waste your money. You'll be disappointed like I was.

Really rude and disrespectful. Had my food ready but made me wait while the food is ready to go behind the counter. Was unbelievably disrespectful

I ordered a large curry goat meal on friday the day of that storm, when I got home to open and enjoy the food it was curry tripe and beans disgusting looking! I called them that same day and let them know I got the wrong meal and I was not eating that, I will come Monday to get something else. So I came in let the lady in the front sitting down folding napkins non welcoming
Vibes and the other lady serving, I let them know I had called in and spoke with someone and told them my order was wrong I did not want the food but they can give me patties instead, before the girl says we apologize for the mix up she asking what did I do with the food who did I speak with. I'm guessing she expected me to freeze the food and bring it.she offered a small goat plate I let her know it was a large showed them a picture. Long story short support black business that show Professionalism, Honor, Respect.
I will not support Gems jerk again.

Worst food ever the stafff is super rude. They also misbehave with the delivery drivers as well. The owner is also very rude. Overall worst experience. Never come to this restaurant. They dont know how to deal with customers

This used to be my favorite Jamaican spot in Brampton before 2019. Ever since then, it has been one of the worst spots to eat any food in Brampton. The food never taste fresh. Festival is hard as stone. Jerk chicken is questionably cooked/reheated and not flavourful anymore and tough. The rice is always hard, dare I say crunchy. I read lots about the front desk having a bad attitude but I could care less about that, you can be as rude as you want as long as you give me good food, which they don't anymore. I wonder if the owner (s) or cook has changed? I write this in hopes that the restaurant goes back to its previous standards, otherwise do us all a favor and close your doors and shut down.

What can I say.it was bad. The chicken soup was worst than pot water. It was burnt with more water and salt added. If you cant provide equality food do not sell it. Please do better.

It’s funny to call this place “Jamaican food” I hate to say but these people need to close down The girl in the front someone needs to be shut up she has too much attitude she needs her ego bubble to be burst just like her food her attitude stinks Never in your life go to this place and waste your money this is a disgrace to every Jamaican and these people need to go to Jamaica and go to every Jamaican and apologize.there are even no menus but yet get mad at you when you ask what’s on the menu how are you a Jamaican restaurant that can’t even cook Salt fish right. Smelled horrendous as you walk in.worst than old mop water. I was very hungry and spent 25 dollars on cow foot and jerk chicken.food is a definite 1 out of 5.service 3/5.posted this after getting instant diahrea after eating Gems food.

I am very disappointed in the food. I order fry chicken and rice. The chicken was very hard, tasteless and taste old. I don't think I will go back to this place. On the other side, the place is clean and custom service was good.

Customer service was terrible, employee called me a dumb@$$. This altercation caused me to get into a car accident later that night. Would give zero stars if I could.

The absolute WORST Jamaican restaurant I have EVER been to. And I have tried this location twice. I wanted to give them a second chance. But wow. Service was deplorable, food was both burnt and old tasting, at the same time. Never had what I asked for, it was the worst experience. And I frequent Jamaican restaurants on a regular basis. I will NEVER eat there again and any one who asks, I will encourage them to do the same.

Customer service need much improvement. Staff need to be properly trained. However the food was good.

If i were you i would NOT go here.the customer service is 0/10.if i could give this restaurant 0 stars i would.there are no menus anywhere displayed so you don’t know what is on the menu.the salt fish i ordered was ROTTEN.smelled so bad! Received missing order plus got a shrimp pack sealed in plastic to cook my self. Guys please specify to skipthedishes if something is not a Cooked time. I don’t want to feel disgusted at 10 pm in night hungry when I am sitting with raw food send to cook!
I am complaining to skipthedishes to get my refund plus I am never going to order from you guys again!
