We used them for catering a luncheon for 70 ppl recently and it was fantastic. Ready exactly when promised, packed securely so it was hot & fresh when time to serve came. Was enjoyed and raved about by all! Generous portions. Very authentic Greek food. Always delicious!

Updated Review, this place has gone to the dumps. What happened? Over priced for the small quantity especially when compared to other Greek places. I ordered Gyros pita and asked for fries in the wrap, you know like they do back in Greece.felt like I was troubling the staff. I even said I'd pay for the few fries.got my wrap, no fries. I go to Port Credit Souvlaki Hut and get the dame thing, how I want it and they got a deal buy two Gyros for $15. This place is a rip off now. But the biggest thing wrong from what I see is the rude, ignorant, uncaring and mouthy owner and staff. Unbelievable. You treat and talk to your customers like that and you'll lose them, like you just lost my family and my business. Opa!

This place is AWESOME! Food is delicious and service was out of this world! People are super nice…. We had a great time there and we loved our food! Totally recommended! If i could I would give them 10 starts!

Ordered through Uber eats two lamb shank dinners

The lamb was fall off the bone, tender at the potatoes and carrots very well seasoned

The side salad was larger than expected, although there were no jalapeño peppers available

I wish I had a option to add pasta to the salad

The tzatziki tasted like it was their own recipe

Friendly and bustling corner restaurant in Long Branch, South Etobicoke. We ordered ahead for pickup and took advantage of online promo offer. Everything was prepared fresh and exceeded expectations - even the yellow potatoes that came with Gyros plate were incredible. Service was prompt and friendly with next to no wait time. If you’re looking for authentic Greek food, with generous portions and a reasonable price, would highly recommend. This is definitely a neighbourhood gem and deserves to be busy. Observed that even Toronto firefighters had ordered takeout - a good sign as these folks know good food! This eatery is more conducive for a quick counter lunch or takeout as it has just a few tables and a window counter. But either way, will definitely return.

Nice place, clean, great staff, I love their greek chicken salad and chiken on pita, very good taste! George is awesome totally recommended!

Good ol' mom & pops kind of place. Everyone is always in high spirits and friendly. George and his wife are always a delight to see. The quality and portion are worth the price and IS amazing.

I always enjoy my meals when I order here. The Slouvlaki dinners are the best, and the proportions are generous for the price. The menu has great variety and not only Greek food.
Staff are always friendly and serve you with a smile. The Dine-in option is available with a comfy home like atmosphere.
If you're looking for a nice meal you must visit George The Greek.

So amazing, fresh and hospitable.small business and the menu is diverse and extensive. Decent prices. I say get the gyro and Greek salad. 14 bucks and so much meat! Thanks guys keep doing what you are doing.

I waited 45 minutes for a take out meal for one person. I was not told when I ordered it would be such a long wait. That would have made all the difference. The fries weren't even fully cooked.

Food was fantastic. I ordered a small pork dinner! So much food I couldn't finish it. A hidden gem! Recommended if you want some good Greek food!

Today I've been craving for a Chicken Souvlaki Dinner - it's been so long and I really wanted one so I was happy to find George the Greek on Skip the Dishes. When our order arrived somehow my Chicken Souvlaki Dinner turned into just a salad. You can imagine my disappointment! I Called the Lakeshore location to complain and managed to speak with the owners George and his wife. Wow! What lovely people! Not only were they were kind and patient on the phone with me even though they had just closed, but George himself remade my order and drove it to my house for me! What amazing service! We had the small chicken souvalaki dinner, chicken souvalaki on a pita and a hamburger and fries. The portions were generous and the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable. We would definitely recommend this place.

I have been going to George the Greek for over 2 years now. This place is the best place in GTA. I have tried almost everything on there menu and yet to find anything bad
He is open to inputs and has made few dishes which were not even on the menu specially for us. Top guy and an amazing place to have Greek food. Just one suggestion if you are ordering food from this place make sure you eat in the Len Ford Park next to the restaurant. Beautiful lake view and awesome Greek food

Omg! I recently moved to area and passed it every day but didnt think thats is good. Untill my friend got some food from there. It was so good! And today wanted to get giro so checked menu. IT IS ENDLESS! FROM BREAKFAST TO MILKSHAKE! I MEAN EVERYTHING! BURGERS, FUSH AND CHIPS, BREAKFAST, RIBS, CHICKEN. And so far every single thing i ordered was outstanding!

They messed up my order because I asked for 2 plain gyros and the gave me 2 gyros with everything on it and gave me 2 iced teas instead of one and made me pay for both even though I asked for one. Never going back but the people were nice and I didn’t have to wait that long.

Order in advance for pickup, if you walk in you will wait a while. But it is delicious, pork on a pita may be the best value around.

I always enjoy the food here. They look like a family business to me. From the chef, cashier and servers, they are all amazing.

Be careful when you order, the size is big and you may end up ordering much. I highly recommend the Grill Combo, which comes with rice, salad and potato. Grill squids are also very delicious.

Great local place with great flavor and generous portions. The owner is great and has a fantastic sense of humor. Very welcoming and friendly.

A great well run family restaurant. The food is delicious and well prepared, the portion more than reasonably. The service is friendly and genuine. They also have well seasoned meats and sausages that you can buy from the freezer to cook at home, saving prep and planting time.

Ordered from the catering menu for my son’s birthday…chicken souvlaki. It was ready on time, it was hot and delicious! Everyone loved it. There was plenty leftover and ordered for the number of people attending. Best greek salad ever! Thank you George and Tina.

Great food for a good price. They're always nice and kind there. I get the Greek salad gyro and it's delicious. Their vegetarian gyro is also nice!

Souvlaki pita and fries is what I ordered.

Fries were great and looked to be fresh cut.
The pita was pretty basic for the price. Chicken tzatziki diced tomatoes and onions.

Way waaay too many onions it was over powering. Disappointed to see no feta on it either.

Staff is very nice and food was made quick.

Best local Canadian/Greek. Take good steak, feel potatoes, rice and veggies, plus an amazing greek salad. Service friendly and home style. Opened 90% pandemic. Found safe ways to serve us.

My fries were somehow black yet uncooked, very disappointed. George replied and made me feel bad. I told your boy I was disappointed in the food. Nothing else. Do better!

Cute little place on lakeshore. Family owned and operated, reasonable prices, good serving sizes (your not leaving here hungry) and most importantly great food!

The chicken is super juicy, large portion of rice, potatoes and salad, and DAMNNNNNN. I could eat that tzatziki sauce by the spoonful. Some of the best greek i've had.

I have been so excited to try george the greek in Etobicoke, i placed a very simple order to be delivered, received an email confirming my order and said it would be there in 30 minutes. I got a phone call an hour later stating they didnt realize it was supposed to be for delivery and that it was on its way. It has been two hours and i am still waiting on my food order! I know it was not remade so, im sure ill be eating cold food thats been sitting there for 2 hours. Not impressed

Edit* got my cold chicken souvlaki. 3: 09 pm. Dry and the pita is just falling to pieces

Food quality is amazing. Very fresh because it’s popular. Sometimes they mess up your order or forget to give you cutlery but it’s ok because they make up for it with service.

Absolutely delicious! We love Georges. The food is so fresh and tasty. The family is super nice also. I could eat those potatoes for days! Yumm

The chicken souvlaki dinner and beef gyro dinner are both delicious, the potatoes are incredible. The dinner comes with a Greek salad and a slice of garlic bread as well. Great size portions for an amazing price.
