George's Coin Laundry

I recently swapped from going to Shaw/Bloor for laundry thinking this would be better with less sketchy folks lingering about. Although this seems to be the case, many of the washing machines will eat your money and there is never anyone no one around to assist. There are less machines in total and the machines seem smaller then the other place I was going to. FYI, the coin machine here only gives out quarters so don't make the mistake I did of putting a $20 bill in there.

I used to really like this place: interesting vibe and decent machines.
When a machine left my clothes soaking and dirty, the guy eventually gave me money so I could rewash but he was real mad and weird about it

Fast reliable machines. The 6 minute per quarter dryers are great for choosing exactly how much drying you want and not being forced to use a long cycle.

I've been um going to this place since 2004. Always clean, washing/drying machine always working perfectly. Always open at 7am at least. The family who owns the place is very friendly and runs this place very proudly. Thank you for being here all this years.

I met my wife though this laundry mat. I owe my life to that Greek woman.

It's convenient from where I live and it's nice, but the owner's are rude. The elderly lady got mad that another customer let me use the rest of his dry time, and when I slipped home to grab a laundry hamper she turned the heat off my dryers so I'd have to pay more to dry my clothes. She also hovered over me and made me incredibly uncomfortable. Will go elsewhere if she is there going forward.
