Georgetown X-Ray & Ultrasound

Went this past week for a dating ultrasound for my 3rd pregnancy, second time using this place. They are professional and personable. The tech was to the point, and couldn't share details of course, but she took her time and did a fine job. On par with any other place I've been to in Ontario.

Went there to have an ultrasound and the technician was one of the most unpleasant people I have ever had met, I found her rude.
She didn't change the paper on the examination table and I was not provided a gown.
When she was done she gave me a couple of paper towels and mumbled something as she left.

Needed an Xray, walked in and was in and out in about 10 minutes which was a nice surprise Both the receptionist and the tech were pleasant. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but my experience was very positive.

I have had multiple appointments there and each time the service just kept getting worse. The receptionist are short with you, irritable and frankly just rude most of the time. The technicians are more pleasant but I wouldn't say they are exactly nice. There is no personal feel to the experience, I felt very bossed around and the demeanor was very cold. This is my first child and I have to say I regret picking this place, did not make for a happy memory.

Have been trying to book an appointment for 10 days now. Left a message with name and phone number on day one, but after hearing nothing back three days later, I tried called calling again, and again, and again. Mailbox is full, but still no call back! No impressed with the service

Very unfriendly receptionists on phone and in person. Staff were not gentle with my daughter when we took her there and were not friendly with me when I went myself. We did not feel like they wanted us there. We will not go back.

Rude, thoughtless reception staff. No manners. Disrespectful, discourteous and disagreeable! A thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Worst experience ever! Will be traveling to milton for my ultrasounds from now on. Receptionist is so very ignorant. Rolled her eyes when speaking to her, and my ultrasound technician told me to remind her to SCAN a my rec before I left! Isnt that your job to remember those things? !

Ultrasound tech was unfriendly with no personality. I thought they were not allowed to share a prognosis with you unless they're the Dr. This tech did!
I had a mammogram done a couple of weeks ago and that tech was wonderful.

Nothing better than having the technician stop in the middle of an ultrasound to use her phone.

I've only had good experiences here. The tech is nice and patient. They take you in for your appointment time and don't leave you waiting.

Terrible people I called them to say I would be 10 minutes late for my 20minute appointment for a simple single shoulder ultrasound, I was 10 minutes late and when I arrived they were rude and forced me to leave.

I had extreme issues and trouble sleeping the past few days prior, due to the shoulder pinching a nerve limiting the positions I could sleep and ongoing back pain. I was lucky I got the 1 hour sleep I got before I had to get ready to drive there.

I have been to Georgetown X-Ray and Ultrasound numerous times in the past few years. I have definitely had some mixed-experiences, but on the whole, they've been good. First off, the receptionists are exceptional! Friendly and very professional. I have always had the gentleman X-Ray Tech (whose name now escapes me), and he has always been wonderful! My only complaints have been in regard to the US Techs. One can be professional, explaining exactly how the procedure will be done, and another can be abrupt, rough, and disrespectful. It's a toss of the coin.
In the big picture, I will continue to go here, but as a medical professional, I do speak up when an US is unnecessarily rough, rushed, and painful. I also don't hesitate to compliment them when I am pleased. Did I say KUDOS to their receptionists?

I can’t for the life of me figure out what people’s issue with this place is and it’s low rating. I’ve been to this location several times and have never had a bad experience. The Tech both times has been very informative, kind and walked me through the experience. The girls at the front are super helpful and definitely don’t get paid enough to deal with the ignorant entitlement that is Georgetown.

Website said they are open until 6.00pm on Thursday - rush to get there for 4.50pm, only to be told that we are short staffed so she is done fit the day - stay and work the extra hour!

Went here for my second time, first was an x-ray a few years ago and I just just from and ultrasound and x-ray for my hand.

The front staff are professional and friendly. They know what they are doing and how to do it. Do yourself a favour and give them your health card and requisition, nobody needs stories.

The ultrasound was done right on time and the tech was very quick and pleasant. The x-ray was also fast and efficient.

People fail to realize that since we have OHIP and almost everything is free, this people tend to get lots of procedures done. That means it takes a long time to get appointments. Xrays are walk-in because it only takes about a minute or two.

Ultrasounds are tricker, depending one what you are having done they can take anywhere from a minute to an hour, plus it requires extra training, I understand why my appointment was so far away.

I have absolutely no problem with this place. Would be happy to have to book back here again anytime.

I feel like a majority of the negative reviews are from people who are too self important, be nice, there are always lines.

I just went here last week for an ultrasound and was very nervous based on the negative reviews posted online. I signed in with the office staff promptly. They were not chatty but that is exactly what I like. My appointment was at 12pm and I went in about two minutes after which was a pleasant surprise when you have a full bladder LOL! My technician was very straightforward with her instructions and she explained every step. It was overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely return if I ever need another ultrasound!

The receptionist was very nice to me but the tech was awful. Somehow, she missed a THREE CM POLYP during my ultrasound. My doctor was so disgusted with her work that I went sent elsewhere, where I found out about it. The bedside manner wasn’t good at all. I was told I didn’t drink enough water even tho I was going to pee myself, AND drank less water at the subsequent ultrasound elsewhere and got perfectly clear images. Very disappointed and will never go back here.

Completed my ultrasound visit today and I must say the technician was very rude and missing a personality. When her task was completed, she just up and left. When I asked if she is finished, I was asked if I wanted more. Rude and very upsetting! Also, during the ultrasound she was packing her bags to go home! I would have not noticed as I was on the bed, but she actually told me. Also, most important, she was very rough and I am in serious pain. Stay away please!

Nice friendly people here. If I have anymore xrays this is where they will be done.thanks for a great experience.

It was my first ultrasound appointment. I did not know anyone at the clinic, the front staff was friendly but the doctor not at all. She didn’t introduce herself or make me feel comfortable, she was very short & didn’t even say bye to me, simply just left. No patient should ever been treated like that, personally do not recommend this clinic (doctor).
