Amazing atmosphere, people and staff. As CEO at my company I can say that the service as well as care for the customer is incredible, very professional, and well put together. The front desk secretary is very sweet and takes good care of its customers I feel a great experience every time I go there. Would highly recommend as you will be valued going and will have good experiences to remember always.

Went there today with 3 car batteries and a few smaller batteries and I weighted them before leaving the house. I had a weight of 170lbs and at 25cents a lb expected $42.50.
So they actually weighed in at a gross weight of 255lbs and once the tare was taken off (casing weight) I actually had 185lbs.
Now the spot price today was down to. 23cents a lb so I ended up with exactly what I initially calculated $42.55
When I was given the fancy barcode payment receipt for the ATM machine I was a little unerved about working it. The very pleasant receptionist came out with me into the cold and assisted me.
Whole process took under ten minutes, yard was clean and tidy,
the forklift driver pleasant and well turned out with his safety gear. As a once every 5 year customer I found the experience and staff help excellent and I would definately recommend them to anyone who wants to have their car batteries re cycled properly.
The closest competitor south on Mavis Road gives a flat fee for a scrap battery of $8.00 so my return was more like $12.00 a battery, much better deal.

I came at the end of the day, so it was fast. No one was there, but like other people are saying on these reviews this place has terrible pay.anyone that has any kind of real load worth good money I suggest you do not come here.

Nice people - easy process. Yard not cleaned of scrap. Got 2 flat tires on 6 moth old tires. My tire guy took 25 more pieces out of my tires. He told me not to go there any more. I have gone to other recyclers with no issues.

In my experience coming here several times now, my advice is to avoid this business.

The service is very slow. They pay worse than their competitors. After visiting today I called their competitor and found that they pay 44% more for what we dropped off (a water heater). Frankly, a few bucks here and there isn’t a big deal, but 44% is significant. On top of that, the employee in the office was quite rude today. I am finding it hard to justify bringing my business here.

I dropped off materials last week which I carefully organized into different boxes to ensure that they could be easily identified. I was instructed to bring my materials to the back where I dropped it off to be weighed. I questioned the staff if they knew the differences in materials that I brought and I was told that the front office was aware of it.
When I received my payment, it was not what I expected because I know I disposed of non magnetic stainless steel. I have worked with stainless steel for over 40 years and I know the product very well. I had approximately 200 pounds worth and only received 20 dollars. When I questioned the front office he claimed I brought regular steel instead of stainless steel to the point he even argued with me. At that moment, I knew that there was no point to argue with ignorance. The process of verifying materials is not acceptable! It was completely unprofessional and they made me feel insignificant.

It makes me wonder how many times people are taken advantage of. I am completely disappointed and disgusted with the quality of service and lack of expertise.
