I couldn't be happier with the service at Gerrard Auto Repair. My car is running again after several years in storage. Moe personally came to evaluate the situation, returned with a new battery and was able to start the car and take it to his shop. My car was ready for me, shiny clean and at a very fair price.

This place is a scam! I took my car to this place only three months ago, and they charged me $1000 for some repair they said they had done. But yesterday I needed to take my car to another repair center and learned that nothing was repaired on my car! I will report this business and I recommend you to stay away from them!

Fast, friendly and very professional. They have serviced both my Nissan and then my BMW ev, highly recommend.

Came for a scheduled appointment and when I entered the office a dog rushed at me bared teeth and growling. I was terrified and ran out the door before I was bitten. The owner came out while I was leaving the property and was extremely rude. They should not be allowing a dangerous dog to chase customers off the property. I wont be returning.

Terrible service and very shady.
Moved to Ontario and went for a vehicle safety inspection. I was told on the phone to come at 2: 30 but when I got there, they had no time for me. The owner looked at my car for ten seconds without taking off my tires and told me I should get replacement brake pads for all four wheels.
Anyways, going to take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend. Just not worth it.

I went there hoping to find an economical option in my neighbourhood to small stuff in the car, turns out I got quoted 50$ for putting a bolt on the weatherguard under my engine. Took less than 15min; shouldn't have been more than 20$. Guess not cheap at all. Nice and polite people though.

Critical: Unprofessional.
Last year I did safety certificate here for 50$. I had to convince them others do in that price.
After that I used tire change service here because it was near for me but the mechanic did not fix the air pressure display there even if I had sensors installed in all four wheels.
Later, I had to fix it with my dealer.
Again, I went for the safety again, but the mechanic says it’s $150 and needs other fixes in my 2018 Malibu which is a joke for me because I keep my car very safe every single day. I asked him I have paid $1850 just last month to the dealer-service to keep my car updated in every single aspect why are you offering the other fixes? He affirmed $150 and reduced to $100 which I said no. Also it’s unprofessional to bargain for the money and services.
Overall: unprofessional, not caring and price too high.

This place is a scam. Go to Canadian tire for a safety certificate as these guys will make you do unnecessary and overpriced work to get the certificate. If you need a mechanic, there are better and more honest people near Carlaw.

I had to pay for a certificate i didn’t get. I was asked to do $1600 in repairs, otherwise they wouldnt certify my car. Canadian Tire gave me the certificate with no work needed.

Friendly staff, great prices for oil change and all other maintenance I highly recommend everyone to repair and service there vehicles in Gerrard auto centre.

Total rip off. I went in to fix a problem with my car and all he did was change 4 spark plugs and a filter and charged me $250. Still have my problem.

Moved to the neighborhood recently and needed a mechanic, Mo was super helpful and took great care with my car, probably my best car repair experience. He even got his team to wipe down the car so it was clean when I picked it up. Amazing service super quick turn around. Definitely would recommend them!

I bought my car from a private seller and he got the safety done at this shop. Unfortunately they did not look over the car very well and I had to get them to fix my car due to a poor safety. The owner admitted to me that he did not even lift the car or look at it. I will have to report them to the MTO because it was my life on the line with what they missed. I do not recommend this shop. They have now blocked me after I ask them to make this right by completing the work the vehicle needed to pass a safety.

Straight up shady! Mo will write you a safety certificate without even seeing the car. Stay away!

I called them to ask if they could swap my winter tires for me, they agreed and asked me to come to the shop. I arrived at around 12: 45PM, they told me they would call me around 5: 00. They called at 5: 05 and told me they didn’t want to do the service because the mechanic was tired and used having to be careful of TPMS sensors as an excuse. The car does not have TPMS sensors. I spent $40 in Ubers back and forth just to not have any of the work completed and pretty much told to come back another day. If I was able to come back another day I would have been there that day, I have a single day off each week and they wasted my entire afternoon and cost me $40. A complete disregard for the customer and for their time/money.

Do not recommend ever coming here.

MO is a humble and responsive professional, his assistant Lloyd is an icing on the cake. Both of them gives you great value for your money, best customer service and fair pricing.

From my experience a small mechanic shop that gets the job done at a good price. 2020 price $60 for a oil change (Synthetic - Honda Civic LX 2013) and $40 to change my winter tires to my summer tires.

Mou and Lou, took the time to try to fix my punctured tire but it was beyond repairing, that's what I get for buying cheap winter tires. They suggested switching to my summer tires and didn't charge me extra for Lou trying to plug the tire multiple times. They are great guys to chat to, when it's not hectic. Call him regarding what you need and whether it can be done that day, maybe also ask if it is busy to give you an idea of what to expect once there.

Those were the pros, now for some suggestions or cons. The option to come back to pick up my car or wait would be nice. At the time it was pretty busy. But sometimes for complex/unknown work it maybe better to wait there. If cost decisions needs to be made to complete the work. The road into and out of the shop is very narrow and scary to navigate, entering and reversing out (exiting). Of course space comes at a premium cost. I will add a picture with Mou and or Lou, as I will be coming back to get my car's oil changed.

I do not recommend this place. These guys are rude and will cheat you. Top of all the guy does not know work but acts like a super star.

Mo is a great Man, I have been bringing my CLK 320 to him for a number of years. He has always done exactly what I needed and at a very competitive price. He is honest and he is happy to refer you to other technicians in the industry that might specialize in something that he does not. I have nothing but good things to say about him.

Went to this store due to it being close and I wanted to try a local mechanic. The starter of my car broke so I got the car towed here. I asked the mechanic/owner what the problem was but they weren't sure so I asked them to call me BEFORE they do any work so I can get a quote. But they told me since it was late it wouldn't be possible til the next day (which is understandable).

I called them the next day around 12pm to touch base with them and see where things are going but the owner said they haven't found the problem yet and would CONTACT me after they found it to give me the run down and cost for the repair. Instead they just do the repair WITHOUT my consent and left me with a ridiculous bill for a "genuine" honda starter ($500 +) which I later found out from my regular family mechanic that it's a refurbished one.

Never had a mechanic fix a vehicle without speaking with the customer first regarding the issue. Definitely try to pull a fast one to scam me and make a quick buck.

I went to this place for a nail in rear tire they fixed it real good, fast and professional. Owner saw me has a uber sigh, gave me sharerider discount! Very friendly staff and clean shop! There you go a 5 star!

Amazing experience. The owner, Mo, is a good person and actually cares about his customers. He helped us out on New Years eve, when everyone else was closing or closed, he stayed behind and got us on the road quickly. We were able to drive back home to Collingwood for New Years Eve because of Mo.
After a lot of bad experiences with various shops and people in the auto world in Toronto, I'm so glad we went to Gerrard Auto when we did. Happy 2019!
