My experience with GetMovers was amazing! I was concerned about hiring a company as I had a lot of fragile items but the team at GetMovers was great. They took the time to carefully pack them. They were careful to unpack them as well so everything was intact. I would highly recommend GetMovers!

From the beginning they were incredibly helpful and provided a great quote. Their responsiveness was impressive, they promised a 9am arrival for the truck, and they delivered right on time. Our move which involved a one floor 3 bedroom home and 4 large items from a storage unit took about 8 hrs in total. The team not only efficient but also very friendly and professional. Even though I spoke to the administration in the week up to our move the movers arrived completely unprepared. They did not have boxes or packaging which we then had to go out and buy. The movers did not wrap out pictures and paintings and ruined one of them as a result. I have contacted the business but they have not replied. Would not recommend.

Very quick to respond to get your business but movers take extremely long to load with frequent breaks. 2 bedroom, no appliances, no couch or large products. Packing was completed before there arrival and left items behind for future tenat, charge $950. Would not recommend for your move!

I had a horrible experience with this company and would advise anyone to stay away! We moved back in January and am still trying to get them to pay me back for the damages done to my house. I did everything I was told to do and months later still trying to get my $750.00 back. Everything about dealing with this company to help me move was horrible.

Horrible customer service. I called the Waterloo branch which had good reviews only to realize they gave my contract to the North York office. The movers came 1 hour late and then were EXTREMELY SLOW. It took them 8 HRS to move a 2 bedroom (less than 900 sq ft) apartment. They looked like rookies. They were doing the best they could but they were just inexperienced. I've moved several times in Toronto and never have I faced such unprofessional moving company. I had to help the movers carry some of the heavy stuff myself to save time since the moving elevator time was limited as the movers had come late. I even had to disassemble my beds since they didn't have enough time. Their on duty customer rep was not professional and did not listen to my grievances at all. I'm never going to use them or even recommend them again.

I had to make a very difficult move from my apartment to my mother's home (my mother was in hospice at the time). GetMovers were reasonably priced and worked quickly but this was at the expense of their care for my belongings. As well, they were unresponsive to my verbal instructions for the placement of certain items. I have attempted to discuss my experience with someone from their team several times unsuccessfully. I even sent a comprehensive email regarding my issues with their service which has yet to be addressed by them. My move was on Jan 30,2021 and I made two calls prior to sending my email on Jan 4,2022, and one after. I write this today, Feb 11,2022. I was, however, unable to get through to an actual person.

Although the movers quickly emptied the contents of my apartment, instead of packing the majority of the items in the truck as they were moving, they placed all my belongings on my paved driveway or adjacent lawn (both had patches of snow and ice). During the move, a headboard was damaged, a pin to my winter tire stand went missing, they almost left without reassembling my bed (it was not assembled properly and now it is unstable). They also almost left without removing a heavy tote holding open the side door and despite many times instructing them to put the 55" TV on the main floor, they almost left it in the basement. As well, when they moved the TV without any protection before it was packed in the truck, until which time it also sat on my driveway with my other belongings.

I really don't understand how this company has the ratings that it does, given my moving experience with them.

These movers are incredibly motivated for employees paid by the hour. They made my moving experience so much easier. Nothing was broken and they had great attitudes!

Recently GetMovers moved us from Barrie to Kitchener. They have sent really good guys, were very professional and friendly, and took good care of our stuff. They carefully wrapped each piece of furniture and navigated i it out of the house without damage. Would absolutely recommend this company, and will be using again!
