The team did an excellent job on our recent move from BC to Ontario. Everything went like clockwork from their punctual arrival to load to the delivery and unloading. All done in one day! They were very accommodating to our requests to move furniture around that was already in the house to make way for the newly arriving furniture. Thanks to the manager for the spot-on estimate, and for sending us such a capable crew. We will be calling on GetMovers in the near future to help us with our next move!

We rented get movers to move us into our new home. We needed the help as we have a 4month old baby and my partner just undergone an operation. What started out to be a good experience ended up horribly and we are extremely disappointed in their customer service. Unfortunately it was raining on the day we moved and tent on the truck was not sealed properly. Obviously this was not examined by the movers or the company prior to the move and so it only became apparent as they were unloading our valuables and we started noticing many of the boxes were damp, some were even soaked right through that the box could not contain the belongings and our stuff was falling right through the soaked box. We spent hours trying to soak up the water and we realized we had to start unpacking immediately or the things inside the boxes would be permanently damaged or hold mold if not aired out. To make matters worse some of our items were pieces of furniture such as our wood dresser and white sofa. And some things are irreplaceable such as our wedding canvases and personal wedding letters from our guests. This is not including other valuable such us electronics and hard drives which were stored and packed in plastic containers with sealable lids, yet somehow there was a pool of water at the bottom of these bins. As we keep unpacking we are finding more and more items damaged by the leak. And after weeks get movers have yet to compensate us for any of the damages, yet they’re weee haste to take their payment. This we find to be very unprofessional and lack accountability. Do not trust them with your belongings let alone valuables. You cannot guarantee their customer service. Moving is one of the most stressful times in your lifetime so do not leave it to this company to protect what is important to you.
