It's definitely a scam. How can someone be listed under 10 different trade skills with a radius of over 100 km and not get any leads or even messages in 3 months? Shame on you guys for taking people's hard earned money. I paid close to 500 dollars for nothing, but it's all good there is a God, and he sees everything God bless and everyone please beware.

After one msg on their board, they deactivated my account without any warning or or anything lol not like it matters; it's a SCAM

Recently I renovated my basement, found a really professional contractor from GetAssist.

I am very very surprised that these people have not yet been charged for fraud and scamming.
This is scamming of the highest order. I joined them and for a whole year i got only one lead that was even fake.
I have never seen as such great scam before.
Stay very very very far away from them if you value your time and money.

This company over promises to deliver and are very convincing that they will give you what you want but they don't. They just take your money and don't actually follow through with what your business needs are.they don't provide me with leads for my business, they only provided me with some other competing businesses instead. Like competing companies and no job offers from actual customers and no employees.they told me to give it 30 days then 2 months I realised they couldn't generate any useful, substantial paying leads They refused to refund me my money saying that it passed the 30 days and they don't do refunds even though they told me to wait longer and had to report them. Beware they are Scammers.

You can count on their word, unlike other marketing agencies. The process is straight forward and very easy to operate. I signed the contract with GetAssist 5 month ago and I payed $500 for the service. Meanwhile I didn’t get any request from this site as a contractor.

Bunch of Scammers. Asking me to give them monthly $37 and $99 registration to start to get clients. This tells me they make money for signing up clients and have no faith in their own product. Had they given me first month trial with no commitments I would definitely take it.

You sound like a scam to me based on the comments below with only single reviews giving you positive reviews etc. Being in business we too know how to buy positive reviews. Charging registration charges etc.to signup to try for a month smells like a scam to me to be honset. If you were not a scam, you would even allow 30 day free trial or trial at $10/$20 or something and then charge $600 for the whole year etc. Scammers usually try to take as much money from you as possible and then provide useless "service" where I will not see any useful leads. Anyhow that is my opinion and I would caution everyone.

This service is not what they make it out to be! They promised leads for jobs and the only leads that ever came through were for employment or homeowners looking to hire someone to help them on their property. The idea is good but the actual quality is very poor. We were on the platform for close to 2 years not closing a single job. We are on other platforms that produced leads and we closed jobs within the first 3 months. Getting in touch with a representative from this platform is absolutely horrible and useless. One last thing is they put you on an automatic renewal system so if you sign up make sure you cancel before your renewal which is not what we were told from the sales rep Tim when we signed up! Attached are a couple of examples of the quality of the leads you would get.

As a general contractor, the biggest hurdle for me was how to get new clients when I first started out. When I found GetAssist at first I was skeptical as to whether on not join but it turned out to be one of the smartest business decisions I've made! Lots of jobs and plenty of happy customers all thanks to the app. From start to finish setting up my account went like a breeze, with a great team behind them, jobs are just a click away! Tim was super helpful in setting up my account, helping me optimize my profile to attract as many potential clients as possible. Parham was a delight to speak with in terms of setting up the financial side of my account, payment processing and more. Lastly speaking with Jamie just helped me understand the app in depth and gave me thorough knowledge on how to operate and manage the app.

I've been joined for 2 years now and look forward to many more! I would highly recommend this app to any contractor or user alike!

We've been getting ready, packing our house and moving around furniture to get ready for our move. Come the closing day we couldn't be happier to pack the truck, have a good drive and start our new chapter in life. To our disappointment the previous homeowners left a mess, dirty floors and a discussing fridge. Thankfully our son had us download the GetAssit app a little while back and our first thought was to get in a cleaner. Once we had our post up we had three company's reach out to us within the first hour! Cleaning was superb and our new house felt like a home, we couldn't be happier!

I went their Vaughan office during the business hours they kept locked main entrance door and no any sign name of the company, no mask no social distance.

Haven't held up any of their promises - NOT EVEN THE PHONECALL TO SET UP MY ACCOUNT.

Now I'm harassed constantly for payment for a service I didn't get.

I was lead to believe I could cancel at anytime and now they're telling me its a year minimum "subscription"

Job leads are an absolute joke and nothing like I was told I would be receiving.

The last customer service representative I spoke to on the phone hung up on me, so I don't imagine there is much quality control either.

They call me that they're need some job done at their office in order to lure me and after they offer their app and leads.
I don't know how good their leads or app but lie and device people that you need a job done in order to lure them, made horrible impression.seems to me a scam.you are playing with fire.

I was having a hard time to find a painter to paint my condo, one of my friends referred GetAssist. After that, I made a request and I found a painter to get the job, was happy with how he did. GetAssist made my life much easier I will use them for other services as well and recommend them to others.

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that you all paid and still got no leads. My experience with this company didn’t get that far.
Someone had called me after I applied online and sent me some introduction videos via email, it seemed interesting so I asked more about the operations of how we get leads and how payment is processed especially if I have a team waiting to get paid as well, he even went as far as telling me “I get to quote the job myself and pay my team whatever I quoted, which lead to me to think, will I be getting lowballed offers moving forward? Because its just the business. Which I was ok with.

He then asked me to come in to the office for an interview, which I was willing to do despite how far the office was from my home.
Once I got there
He set up usernames, emails, and almost took a picture before him stating there is a fee of $479 CAN in order to use the service. At that moment I got a little sceptical about everything, like why he made me drive so far for something he could’ve told me over the phone!
I started questioning everything. I lied and told him I was broke, and had no money to pay at the moment. Which was when his energy shifted, At one point I guess he seen it on my face how uninterested I was getting,
So he offered me a job privately to fix a microwave and install it in a condominium for his family/friend, he asked me how much I’d charge, and that would if I paid for the service now, I’d be guaranteed that job, which in reality speaking, he could be lying about or cancel at any time after I pay, but was still so reluctant into getting me to pay for the service now. Even after I told him I had no money.
He literally tried to swindle me, after I drove sooo far out of town, lying about fixing a microwave which should be on a warranty for wherever it came from, and fitting into a wall which should have space for it, and not just telling me over the phone that I’d drive 50 km just to pay for a service, that I see now after reading reviews would’ve never gotten me a cent.

Again I’m sorry to hear you all actually paid, but for me that day he literally tried to out-hustle a hustler.

I joined on getassist last month for my cleaning business and I have been very pleased with the network ever since! My business partner and I have received plenty of jobs - even more than what was expected.we are satisfied with the convenience and response time of our clients.definitely recommend.

Went in to their office in early June. My partner and I decided what the heck, its only $500 for an entire year, lets give it a shot. My wife, a mortgage broker saw how well it was working for us and recently got her own membership. She said its like Uber for small business. Both of us are happy to be part of an international company that is going places

Becareful! Becareful! Behind the apps the company GetAssist is so dangerous they just want your registration fees. After that they kick you out. No business or any traffice you will get from them. Don't waste your time and money.

Just renewed my membership with Get Assist. When we joined a little over a year ago we werent sure what to expect. First couple months was a bit slower then we expected with leads. To be honest we called and complained a few times. Each time they told us to be patient and give it the 12 months. And we did. The lead volume picked up. Some leads we replied to, some we didnt as we were busy. Quoted a couple jobs. Didnt get them. Thats business. On lead #47 (yes I counted them lol) we closed a basement renovation client and completed a 27.5k job. We ended the year with 3 competed projects. Very glad we stuck with it and took there advice. Heres to another great year!

Joined Get Assist two weeks ago. Already received a couple leads. Read online that Get Assist opened a U. S HQ in Phoenix a couple months ago, and is expanding to San Diego and Chicago, and the U. K in February. Amazing! Well done guys

I went into this with a very optimistic, but after three months and a very busy summer of home requiring home painting and more has truely been disappointing. Unless something miraculous happens within my next 9months of my remaining time for this App. I will not renew.

****BUYER BEWARE**** Was told I would get leads by their sales guys Tim & Brandon, and that I would be busy as a member of their useless app. Then when you look at the system nobody really uses it and that you will have to network and advertise on your own to find leads. Meanwhile, their sales staff will tell you many people are requesting your services but in reality they are only concerned about selling memberships because they work off commission and need to make sales to make their daily quotas.

BE ON THE EYE OF THESE SHADY PRACTICES:

1. They will process your payment and setup your account without telling you their terms or conditions of the contract, that you have signed up for auto-renewals and there's no way to disable it until after they already doubled bill you.

2. Tried to cancel and request a refund they said that there is no refunds (even after I was promised a refund from Tim) and there was no way I could have signed up with them without accepting their terms.

This company operates like a third world cartel not sure how they are still legally operating!

I registered the service by given false information from getassist sales team. And I just wanted my money back since I was not informed of no refund. 14th Aug, Out call sales agent Brian reached out to us first, offering free-registration for get assist service. We had our first meeting next day on 15th Aug, 2019. He was not there, the manager, Julia was not ready for meeting and told me there is no free registration. We hesitated to take that offer but she had been telling us that we will have enough demand coming enough to cover the fee, also offered full refund in 2 months if it's not meeting our expectation. Today, 19th Aug, 2019, Julia offered monthly plan with registration fee, also, I wanted to make sure there is a certain job posted that we can take if they have to call us several times to get the deal done. She was so sure about that current job postings, once we set up the account, there was nothing in our category, simply she has been giving me false information and all after that, she hid in the company. No RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY, They keep putting their responsibilities to others. All I want is my money back.

So far it made it sure that I was scammed, no work inquiries at all in 2 weeks yeah we are scammed for sure.
They never answer the phone, it has no difference to scam people, they avoid, toss your phone to everywhere and make you tired.
I still have no response from these scammers.
Understand that they have no refund to make some money out of scamming, but at least make it easier to cancel for PEOPLE as they advertise.

A very professional team at Get Assist! I dealt with Matt and Tim they explained the app and the service, helped me set up my account and checked in with me to ensure I was comfortable. It’s the future, I’m glad I’m on-board early! I received a lead within the first two weeks!

They called my wife, as an accountant, and asked her to go to their office to talk about start doing work with them. After she drove there for one hour, they told her "by the way, there is just $479.00 fix annual fee to start working with us". They never mentioned anything about this fix annual fee over the phone before the meeting!

What a great idea. My partner and I decided lets give it a try for a year. Its been 3 months. Glad we did. Received several leads and landed a couple projects. Highly recommend. Staff was informative and helpful
