Recently purchased a pair of New Balance 327 sneakers that I have been looking for in a certain colour combination and found them here at Get Outside Shoes. Very pleased with this purchase as it was from a local shop and shipping was fast, as well. Customer service was amazing as Kaya from the store reached out to thank me for the purchase and supporting their local business… amazing customer service!
These shoes are just perfect - love the style and the great support in them. Podiatrist said they were only sold in HIS store (at a much higher ridiculous price). So glad I went to look online. They also arrived by Express Post very quickly. Thank you and I will be a return customer!
Fantastic experience! Ordered 2 pair of shoes online, and one happened to be the last pair and the display model. Before shipping they reached out with pictures showing the very minimal "wear" on them and made sure I still wanted them, or offered a full refund. I honestly couldn't see any difference and went ahead with both pair. They shipped immediately and came the next day, will absolutely be ordering all shoes from here going forward. 11/10

I usually always try and support local small businesses. Unfortunately this store does not deserve local support. Save yourself the headache and head to a reputable store that has customer service like Nordstrom or buy directly online from the brand.customer service is non existent here. Rude hipster attitude. This store operates as though they do not need customers and do not respect them.
I bought $300 Royal Canadian boots from here and after 3-4 wears the laces started to tear. After 1 month I went to the store to get them to help with a replacement lace from the brand but they kept trying to convince me that this was not their problem and was only my problem. All 3 “managers” told me it was effectively my fault from normal wear and tear. I’m not sure on what planet $300 boots have an expected life span of 1 month.
Next time I will definitely buy all of my footwear from reputable retailers Not only did they not help liase with the brand on my behalf as their customer, but they made me feel like I was a nuisance and ridiculous for even coming to them with the issue. If you sell a defective product with a premium price tag to a customer, you should take steps to help them with it. They had the audacity to say “it’s only $5 laces on Amazon”. Well, I hope the $5 you saved by not helping me was worth losing a life long customer and I have already convinced 6 other life long customer to boycott your store indefinitely - more to come. Your 3 “managers “ made a great business decision. Good luck in this upcoming recession
Its a lovely place I don’t know why its the location r the people work there I see the same pair of shoe somewhere else and still I bought there I bought three to four pairs from there in last one year Staff is really co-operative, friendly and helpful

My daughter needed slides as the shoes she wore gave her blisters. We went to Getoutside on a friend recommendation. Great selection made it easy to find what we needed. We bought Vans slides and Rayna the cashier was happy to give me a bigger bag to hold my daughter’s shoes that hurt her feet and cut off the tags so she could wear the slides right away. As we walked around the city the seam on one of the slides was wonky and was folding into my daughter’s foot. We went back and spoke to Rayna again explaining what was happening with the slide. She took a good look, agreed they must be defective and spoke to her manager in order to get us the exchange we needed. I’m so pleased with the customer service my daughter and I received today and we will definitely be a return customer. Thank you Rayna!
Never been to this store, but offers a great selection of shoes with shipping to my home. Look for sales here, great prices if items you are interested on sale.
Amazing selection of shoes but the customer service is AWFUL. I must have looked like I wasn’t buying anything because I got close to zero support despite being in the store for 20 mins and actually purchasing a pair or boots. I don’t know what problems the cashier is going through but you can’t take your frustrations or bad mood on other people. Won’t be back, EVER.
The store has a great variety of good quality shoes, especially boots. But the customer service is very BAD. The staff were not very helpful. Only when I went one time, a nice staff was helping me. But, the cashier was not friendly and respectful at all. The cashier seemed very arrogant and judge us like we don't belong at the store (or have money to spend at the store). Went to the store multiple times and always experience the same cashier who was very RUDE and NOT FRIENDLY. They don't even say thanks to us as well. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Nice shoes but HORRIBLE customer service. The workers here overcharged me $160 and left on multiple security tags, and when I went back they were rude and didn’t apologize. When I went home, I realized they still managed to leave a security tag on something I bought. Very disappointed, I would NOT recommend this store to anyone who doesn’t like dealing with incompetence.
I bought two pairs of sandals in late June 2021 at Get Outside and both pairs had a manufacturer flaw. I first contacted the manufacturer yesterday to ask for an exchange/resolution, but they said that I would have to go back to Get Outside. I went today and was anxious that I would get pushback from Get Outside, as many stores do not honour their products. The response was a pleasant surprise. The person behind the cash immediately offered me an exchange after inspecting the sandals. There was no hesitation and I got a style that will not have the same issues.left completely satisfied. Great staff. Great customer service. Happy customer.
I could not find a specific type of blundstone boot on the east coast. I made some calls and was happy to find that this store would ship me the boots for free with my purchase. Wonderful! Love them.
I haven't been there in person since my love for GYW shoes began just before COVID started. Bought shoes online and the experience was nothing but wonderful! Would definitely buy it again.
Very disappointed. Ordered in November for xmas and still waiting on delivery. The web site says 3-5 days delivery - I wish they would reflect the reality or take the delivery company to task. I think the response busy time of year is not acceptable Ive had pan pacific international post delivered quicker in the same period. I intend to go shopping tomorrow for the same boot and return post immediately if I can get same.
I was a first-time customer and was looking to make an online purchase. I was really impressed by the customer service I received over the phone ahead of making my online purchase of a pair of Birkenstock Boston Clogs. I called and asked if anyone at the store with a size 38 women's shoe size could try on a pair of the clogs I wanted to purchase to ensure that I ordered the correct size online. The gentleman on the phone (I didn't catch is name, unfortunately!) did not hesitate and asked the other associates in the store at the time with a similar shoe size to try on the style. Another female associate (once again, didn't get the name, but she wears a size 6.5 shoe!) did try on the style for me and I was able to make an informed decision about sizing. I ultimately placed my order and even received it in a couple of days! I am so pleased to be able to support local businesses, especially during this pandemic. With such great customer service and great prices, I am sure I will shop with them again.
Bought a handful of Redwings from this store online and I must say that the service was quick and accurate. The shoes were of very high quality and also called customer service to see if I could get a discount as the advertised offer was after my purchase. Needless to say, they honoured my request and discounted the item I purchased. Sadly I did not get her name (customer service rep) as she was very professional and understanding. Would highly recommend this store for customer satisfaction and the quality of shoes they carry. Kudos to all the staff for keeping our feet happy during this difficult time of COVID and looking forward to shopping in person at your fabulous store. Stay safe.

Getoutside Shoes offered amazing customer service and shipping! I received my order within a couple of days of ordering. They even let me do a price adjustment as I received my birthday coupon after I placed my order. No questions asked, they just reimbursed my credit card with the difference. The very friendly staff were quick to respond to my emails and were very accommodating. This was my first time shopping here and I will definitely be a returning customer.
Get Outside is incredible with their customer service and shipping. My order was delivered so quick and the size I ordered was incorrect unfortunately. The size issue was my fault. Ordered a a white leather pair of Jack Purcell's online. When they arrived they were visibly dirty floor model shoes. I wouldn't normally be upset receiving floor models but the fact the bottoms were dirty and the sides had brown dirt scuffs on them left me a bit upset. When contacting them they offered me 15% off. I wouldn't have bought dirty, worn shoes for 15% off had I have known so I returned them.

This review is a reflection on the customer service - specifically from a young lady by the name of Sarah. Who not only misinformed me over the phone on the availability of a product but was extremely rude, unapologetic and lied when I confronted her on it in front of her manager. She had informed me they had the boots I was looking for after i spent 15 min on the phone giving her all the particulars on the item. I commuted there after a long day with my child in bad weather to pick up the item and - it was an entirely different boot. I don’t know how someone can be so unknowledgeable on products AND worse to get mad at the client when the client expresses frustration. Shame on her for the horrible attitude and bad customer service she demonstrated in front of other clients and her manager. She needs a refresher on customer service and attitude around retail.
The products are great but the staff aimlessly walks around and doesn't ask if you need help. We came in the other day and a staff member was on her phone having a personal conversation about her friend hitting on someone dispite having a boyfriend lmao, she didn't even bother acknowledging us. Cheers

This retailer had a price difference of the same product between their web-store and their Queen St.store. They simply will not cooperate to honor their web-store pricing at the street store.

I went to this store 4 days ago and saw staff walking around but could not find someone to help me. So I left. Came back today to see if it was less busy. I went straight to the counter with the shoe I wanted to get my size. The lady handed the shoe off to an employee who was busy with a customer. And I waited. Every time I walk in this store no one is available to help me. This has happened for years. Never bought the shoes there. Went down the street to groovy and was greeted right at the door. Got the shoes I wanted, with the best service I have had in long time. I will never return to Getoutside. Should be called "Getoutofmystore"

I was very indecisive when placing an order online. The lady who helped me was amazingly helpful and patient. The order arrived quickly but unfortunately the boots were too small. Again, customer service was OUTSTANDING helping me get everything sorted. New boots arrived the next day! Highly recommend!
Very good company. Impressive customer service. I got a bigger Sorel boot size. Within 4 business days, they received the boot, and they send me the correct size. I really recommend them!
