Lovely dinner at Gezellig! Delicious steak, dessert (the Butterfinger) was very good. Loved the atmosphere and service was attentive. Will return!

Oh what a wonderful dining experience I had here. The food was top drawer, the server and hostess were so friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect. Please do yourself a favour and visit here!

The emperor has no clothes! I cannot believe the reviews here. The dinner menue had very limited options, my girlfriends and I were practically forced to get the stake. 5 stake dishes all chewy! With super salty fries and uncooked beans.half of my salty fries were burnt potatoe peels.so disappointed.

2 plates from lunch menu for $28/person was a great deal considering the quality of the food. Enjoyed the mussels and fish cake. Would return.

We had a wonderful dinner at Gezellig last night. Service was very good - warm, knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing. The food was really great too - beef tartare with taro chips; pillowy ricotta gnudi with mushroom ragu; delicious salmon with orzo, lamb sausage and greek flavours; and a spectacular duck confit. And the butterfinger dessert was so so good! We started with bubbles, had a delicious Spanish red and a lovely Amaro to finish the night off. Highly recommend this lovely place!

I've always had great and consistent service and food here at Gezellig. I love that you can make brunch reservations, so it's a great place to meet up with a group of friends on the weekend. Upon arrival, I've always been greeted kindly with a huge smile from one of the servers or the host/hostess. I believe that this restaurant puts a lot of effort into the overall experience, so 5+ stars!

A perfect date night! Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, but the service was entirely exceptional - every staff member with whom we interacted was knowledgeable, fast, and good-humored! We'll be back.

Disappointing food. This is an expensive restaurant, but the food was underwhelming. We expected better. We had the beef and the scallops. The service, on the other hand, was 5 stars all the way, from the moment we walked in till the moment we left.

Calming, pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food! What a treat. I ordered the radicchio and endive salad and the grilled prawns on bacon risotto. Perfectly cooked and perfect portions. Will definitely return!

We had brunch and it was excellent. You get a choice of two small dishes for $28. Just the right amount of food, expertly prepared and great service. A little pricey for brunch but it's a worthwhile treat.

Enjoyable dining experience for a business lunch. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and the food was fantastic.
The prawns with risotto was decadent and the cheese plate had a well balanced selection.
I would certainly return again when in the area.

Went for brunch and it was a great experience. The waiter was sociable and knowledgeable and staff is extremely attentive. I had the mushroom toast a delicious option for vegetarians! Love that you can order two dishes and they are well sized

The soup was too salty for some. The menu online was different from the one in the restaurant - no lamb. Main dish was delicious.

We loved it. We tried a bunch of the menu and every item was delicious, beautifully crafted, and unique. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and modern. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Gezellig. The food was great and the staff was kind. I love the 2 plates for $28 per person lunch special. The choices are varied and the plates are perfectly sized for a filling meal.

We were there on a Saturday evening celebrating my daughter’s birthday: a wonderful experience. We started with cocktails, had appetizers, mains and dessert - all excellent. The service was superb, unobtrusive but attentive. Our table next to the window felt private on a busy night. A titch pricey, but I would definitely recommend for a special occasion and I would definitely go back!

I recommend Gezellig as a wonderful restaurant for you and your special someone. My partner and I recently enjoyed delightful Prince Edward County wine, beef tartar, and duck confit - all menu items that make me wonder why I even bother to boil water.

The service here is consistently excellent; the food is fabulous; and the ambience is so subtle that the music, beautiful as it is, will never interfere with your desire to carry on a great conversation.

As someone who knows this area well, I think the property was completely wasted as a bank, and only managed to fulfill its real purpose as Gezellig.

I wish the owners and staff all the prosperity they deserve and will be back for many great evenings!
