GHA Surgical Centre

The facility is very clean. The staffs are friendly, helpful and really care for the patients. After my procedure I was a bit dizzy so they were making sure I’m ok. Gave me juice and offer me cookies. The male staff even went out to check parking lot to see if my husband was there.

Such friendly and knowledgeable intake, nurses, anesthesiologists and doctors. Facilities were very clean and procedure was on time and very efficient. Felt so relaxed the entire time.
Great communication both pre and post procedure. Always knew exactly what to do.

Highly recommend GHA. My first visit was with Dr. Jeejeebhoy, who is an excellent doctor, very thorough and explained everything. He scheduled two procedures for me and they were done within the same week. All of the staff are very polite and where there with me from start to finish. They kept me informed of everything from the moment I got there. When my procedure was done, they went over it with me. I was scared of having the gastroscopy done but after meeting the team and the doctor that was doing it, I was fine. I highly recommend GHA, and I would definitely go back.

I was so nervous for my gastroscopy I rescheduled three times due to the fear of risks with the procedure this place made me feel so comfortable they did an amazing job and were very gentle with me. Great kind and experienced nurses and doctors nothing but positivity I woke up feeling better than i did before the procedure so thank God for this place!

These folks are fantastic! So friendly, professional and down to earth. Not to mention they're, e all gorgeous. They even use separate cameras for either end.

Fast and speedy service. Staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. Total time in the office was 45-50 minutes. The RN, assistant, anesthesiologist, Doctor and assistant were all very pleasant and friendly. I have had Dr Reid twice and she makes you feel so comfortable and communicative post test. Well organized office. Thanks again.

I would like to leave a few words here for the wonderful care I received during my visit to you. My experience on Friday February 10th was exceptional. I approached with some trepidation but from the warm and comforting welcome from the reception staff Maila, Pauline and Grosia and the prep staff of Sarah, Wade and Rossella, my anxiety level was rendered almost to nil. Special thanks to Dr. Faidi Dr. Stover and nurse Annu for their warmth and caring in the continuance of this experience. I hope I don't have to visit again but if I do, I will know that all of the staff are compassionate and caring.

I went to this surgical centre today for hemorroid removal and a semi colonoscopy. Proficient staff but the only problem I did not have hemorroids. I mentioned to the surgeon that another doctor whom I saw on my first visit about 6 weeks ago, did not do a physical examination which I thought was odd. So all this preparation was a complete waste of time and of taxpayers money if they had done the diagnosis properly on my first visit. The health care system in Ontario is a mess.

Amazing experience today I had 2 surgeries and the process went very smooth. Very professional staff and I highly recommend GHA! Thank you.

My mom had her first colonoscopy here, lovely staff and very friendly nurses and doctors. She didn't feel a thing and I was happy with her care. Would definitely recommend Gha surgical centre if you're nervous about getting your first colonoscopy, they help you through the whole process.

Thanks to Dr. Wu chao Ying, Pauline + Taryn with arranging her procedure and Megan the nurse who was so sweet. Also front staff Gosia and Pearl were very pleasant when we arrived. Overall just a great experience!

Just had a scope done myself and was comfortable the entire way. Love that I was fully asleep! Thank you to all the staff especially Dr. Stover my anesthesiologist!

This place has the worst service ever. Took my wife in for pains in her stomach. They did a Endoscope the results were to be in in 2-3 weeks which is insane to begin with of course Covid is the excuse for everything. Finally after numerous phone calls they got the results 4 weeks later.
My wife called to get the results and was told only the doctor who did the procedure can tell her the results. That Doctor is to call her on March 30 yet another 4 weeks later. Which part of extreme pain in stomack do they not understand?
Covid gets blamed for every delay on the planet. While there is most certainly an element of truth it's an excuse used in excess.
If you are in considerable pain and need the results in a hurry DO NOT use this service. You will most likely be dead before they get around to getting the results for you.
You do not have to use the service the doctor suggests you can choose your own.

Two years back ago I did a small operation on my left shoulder to remove a fat tumor. The staff was incredibly nice but the doctor didn't do a great stitching work. The mark is still there and turned into a purple colour. The cut was small and it shouldn't be that obvious. I had 2 c-section operations before and it look much better than this small cut. I will never go to this doctor again.

First time in for a procedure and the medical staff were fantastic. Friendly, kind and it was over before I knew it.

Great team of professionals. Very pleasant and respectful. I want to express my appreciation to Dr. Bhargava, Dr. Pine, nurse Mars. Wade and Meaghan who prepped me and explained everything to me in which they made me feel at ease and very comfortable. They were both amazing! This whole team made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end. I highly recommend this place.

What an amazing place! You might think it’s just another medical office but the entire staff make you feel very comfortable and at ease! If you have to have a procedure done and they perform it, REQUEST a referral to GHA Surgical Centre!

First time going to GHA or having any procedure done so I was extremely nervous but I had such an awesome team! From the 3 nurses to the physician (Dr. Reid) they made me feel very comfortable and took my mind off being so nervous. I truly thank you!

I was very nervous about having a scope done. But from the time I walked in everyone was fabulous. Britney on reception was amazing as was Wayne. Then my nurse ros went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. It was a great experience and nothing to worry about. Thank you everyone very much

Had my first scopes there today. Dr Wi Chao Ying and Dr Ling were amazing. The nursing staff was absolutely wonderful and the front staff was friendly and smiling. I was comfortable and at ease from start to finish. Felt extremley well cared for. Thank you GHA for a pleasant experience!

I'm sitting here waiting for my mom who's having a colonoscopy, I am in awe at how badly behaved the front end staff are to patients. Most patients have simple questions and are met with hostility by receptionist who will promptly tell you that nothing is her fault. Girl with dark hair and purple streaks. I hope for my mothers sake that the staff in the back are more professional. Left a bad taste in my mouth, won't come back here

Waited 7 weeks for consultation, was 10 weeks but I had it brought forward after complaining. I was told my consultant (didn't know I had one) was on medical leave. As sorry as I am for them this appointment is about my medical situation not theirs. No idea how long I'll have to wait for the actual test. If anyone had something very serious these waiting times could be a death sentence.

AMAZING STAFF! I came for my first colonoscopy recently, feeling nervous as I didn’t know what to expect. As soon as I checked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff, very helpful to any questions that I had. Knowing that I was nervous, their kindness, comforting words and positive energy, made me feel calm and relaxed. The whole experience was better than I could have imagined! Thank you to Dr Sne, Nurse Katie and the rest of the ‘Dream Team’, who work hard everyday, to provide the BEST health care, to patients, with a smile

Had a consult late November, had to wait 25 mins to get in. Had my colonoscopy, waited almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. Several people that came in after me got seen before me, I finally had to go to the front desk to find out what was going on. Seemed very disorganized. It was like an assembly line.

When they forward the results to my family doctor, they forgot to submit the diagnosis. My doctor didn't know anything about it because it wasn't written in the right up. When I contacted the GHA Surgical Centre to advise that the write up to my doctor did not have my diagnosis, I spoke to a rude receptionist who was very argumentative advising me that many people have this, it's common etc etc. But that is not why I am calling, my doctor did not get all the information, especially the diagnosis.
Someone called me back later that afternoon, because they don't talk to each other and I was put on hold. The same girl came back on and started being kurt with me again. Wow! I have left a message to have an office manager or the doctor call me back regarding this situation. No way should anyone be dealing with this type of service.

The front desk, all the nurses and doctor were very pleasant. They put you at ease before and after your procedure.

I'd give this place 0 star's if I could. Sat there for an hour and a half past my appointment time, FINALLY went up to ask, "What is going on? ". The response I get is, "Oh, nobody talked to you yet? The "Dr" isn't in today. ". Real professional. What a joke. Trash place. Trash staff.

All of the nurses were very nice and made me feel comfortable. Noticing a lot of comments of people feeling like it was a factory? I thought the facility was much nicer than having to go to the grimsby hospital that is so old and outdated. I would reccomend this place and Dr. Bowser. The nurse stephanie I think was her name was great dealing with me and my fear of needles.
