Always come here for the Shawarma ‘s and other amazing foods that they have. A lot of varieties and drinks and other groceries in the store. Good amount of seating and parking.
I am so sorry to write this feedback which I am sad to repeat same experience over and over. I eat often here but for the second time I order shawarma sandwich & asked to add extra beef or meat they charge extra $ 5.00 but the sandwich it’s the same regular wrap, if you need your business to continue please you must consider your clients feedback and satisfaction
I have never eaten such an amazing Arabic food in canada. So delicious and yummy and generous. Fast service and all workers are very polite and have big heart to consider all desires. Thank you great experience, I will come back soon
Large sandwish compared to competition. However, meat shawarma was cut too thick, was lukewarm - not freshly cut from the skewer, did not contain any grill marks. In addition I had to spit the "jlemi2" out 4 times in 1 sandwish. Chicken sandwish was ok.
This is hands down the best Shawarma spot in all of the GTA. There is no debate, I've tried all of the highly recommended spots, but at the end of the day I always come back to Ghadir for my shawarmas.
This is one of those cases I deeply wished if rating had less than 1 star because I feel bad giving 1 star! This particular establishment deserves NO star!
Want to give 0 for their service, placed the order on phone, the took long to make the order ready, the guy from food counter was harsh, then went home and saw they gave us wrong order. Called the store and manager said "come back we will make a right order and give you credit" (have an audio record). Drove all the way back and manager didn't even bother to apologize, they wanted to compensate with "rice"! And denied whatever he said over the phone. Well, your food is tasty but its the service, the attitude that matters as well! This is how they do business, middle eastern way of doing business i believe!
Ghadir is straight out of the Middle East. I grew up there in the 80s and this restaurant takes me right back.the food is authentic and fresh.the portions are generous. Im so glad restaurants like Ghadir exist!
Excellent service. Call/order ahead. Baking goods are expensive. Actually very expensive when compared to other bakeries. Nice place to shop for middle eastern food evry now and then
Food was good, the gave me the wrong platter and went back to replace it with what I order! Took about 20min to get ready and thought the floor and the entrance need some cleaning. Lots of items on the floor just very Unorganized.
I went to buy kebabs, I waited for more than half an hour outside the store in the cold, and he served the customers who came after me, and when I was asking about the order, he asked me to wait outside the store, the worst service and there is no customer service and the kebab tastes disgusting, I will not go to this restaurant again
This was the best restaurant in Toronto until a month ago, don't know what happened to these guys, their meet smells bad, hummus and mutable in their fridge smells also bad and old, I usually dirve for 45 mnts once a week to buy my groceries, meet, etc, but not any more.
They are a disgrace to the Lebanese cuisine and our friendly culture. We as Lebanese are renowned worldwide for good food, friendliness and hospitality. At this place, you will get dry food as well as dry service. Ain el Rumeni in Lebanon is a great city to compare this food to for the Lebanese people. I am sure they know. This food tastes more like Iranian to me. Lol
The best shawarma and grilled chicken in the GTA, hands down! We’ve tried several others over the last few years and none come close to theirs. And did I say they make an awesome shawarma poutine? Try it, you’ll definitely thank me later for recommending it.
Excellent Food. I tried their BBQ whole chicken family plate and it was delicious. The chicken was smooth, soft, juicy and perfectly cooked. Their prices are also very reasonable. Worth every penny.
If you are thinking about coming here for food, think twice. Got a Mixed Shawarma Plate, both meat were dryer than a sandpaper. Heard much good things about the food here, I guess they did a Uno reverse card Even McDonalds $1 Chicken Jr is better than whatever they serve, my cat smell it and he ran away
Not sure what all the hype is about with this place. It's absolutely chaotic inside, with extremely cramped aisles, and sort of a free for all attitude as opposed to orderly lines and systems. Despite the cashier instructing everyone to wait for their food outside until their number is called, most people did not (on a very busy weekend evening). Perhaps this is why a dozen people got their food before I did, even though they ordered after me? I was the chump who chose to actually follow the instructions and wait outside, and my food took 20+ minutes to prepare. The outdoor speaker they use to call out order numbers is small and difficult to hear unless you're standing right in front of it. When your number is called and you go back inside, there's no way to identify which food is actually yours — there are just a bunch of anonymous take out bags lined up on tables, countertops, and pass throughs, with no identifying numbers on them (all while the people who should be standing outside are milling about in your way, preventing you from getting to your food). The food itself was nothing special. The chicken shawarma plate was fine, but the chicken was dry, and they're stingy on the sauces. I much prefer Chamsine for this cuisine. They're faster, fresher, more organized, and tastier.
I went there several times, I used to love there food. Last Sunday I went there and ordered for a BBQ platter the Fillet Cubes. But when me and my family start eating I found a hair in kabab. It was so disgusting. I felt like I will throughout. It was very much disappointing. I will never go there.
***Beware of the girls at the cashiers. They are arrogant and horrible to the customers. I was shocked to see how they treat people. There was another guy with a Beard at the cashiers. He came forward and was very helpful*** *They definitely need some cleaning to do. Their services are confusing for the new customers. Parking space is always very busy. * Food update: Ordered the whole BBQ chicken special. It was $28.something after tax. The chicken were delicious. But prepared to have a takeout. Definitely recommend it. Make sure you ask to get the pop if you are supposed to get some.
Ordered the bbq chicken family special. When the food was ready, I requested the guy to give me some spicy garlic and hummus on the side, like I always do. I even double checked with him when he handed me the food and he assured me that he just put in spicy garlic and hummus. Upon going home, I saw there was neither spicy garlic, nor hummus in there. Seems they are trying to save some $ by skimping on sides. Please double check your food on receiving it. I won't be going to this place now due to this bad experience
We had bad experience couple of times, every time we ordered they forget something. First time they didn't put garlic and hummus inside the plate, second time they didn't put small garlic, third time they didn't put fries and garlic. Forth time which was today they didn't put garlic and hummus and spicy garlic inside our 2 plates. I don't think i will prder from this place again.
