I ordered here before. Food good, but staff pays all attention to the orders from the applications. Great food but you will stand there while the application goes off for remote orders.

Having been in Ottawa for more than five years, my expectations for Chinese food are as low as they can be, at least that’s what I think. But life is so interesting, your lower limit is always beaten hard again and again in despair - the level of the chef in this restaurant really cannot be called a chef, he is just a clever little guy who throws ingredients into the pot - as for It didn't matter whether he fired or not.

Overall, it’s not delicious or authentic. This is the same with rice noodles and Chinese food.

We stopped here on our way to a friend's cottage and it was sooo good. Quick. Hot food and great service! Highly recommend this place. I know now why it has so many stars!

Some of the best chinese-canadian food I have ever eaten. I grew up on it, and it has always been the same high quality through the years. The staff are also very helpful and the food is quick

The quantity of food here is crazy. Had to get one entire meal packed because my husband and I could just finish one. Loved the wonton soup! Will be back

Delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. Even though the place was pretty full we didn't have to wait long for our food, and the portions are huge!
Next time I'm going to try one of their Bubble Tea, it's a great idea and the ones I saw sounded great.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. Service is quick, they serve tea and soup once we’ve sat down. The food serve quick as well and it was great!

Delicious food. Good prices. Well maintained location. The service was fast and they also give fruit iced tea.after being seated! I've spent some time in many different Asian restaurants and this places hangs in there with some of the best.

My family and I love this place. I have yet to find better Chinese food in the fruit iced tea. Staff are friendly. I love the fact that the service is quick Within a few minutes the food is at the table witch when you are starving is very much appreciated.

I didn't have high expectations coming in - the menu is pretty small and the order of dumplings arrived with a fork, spoon, and hot sauce. But wow, the food is DELICIOUS.

One of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. Very nice and calm atmosphere with polite staff. Cheap and great tasting food.

I usually don't do reviews but had too on this one. As you can see by my Star. Food was absolutely terrible. Examples: chicken balls were so hard and dry I almost broke my tooth and had to spit out a couple of them. General tsp chicken was very dry no sauce at all on them. Spare ribs were ok but most were dry. Egg rolls actually tasted ok but the plum sauce packets are really not good. Very cheap and hard to open. Had to get scissors to open the packets for every egg roll. And the kicker $75 dollars and had to throw away most of it. Order with caution. Please note I never write reviews but quality has to go up for thr owners and customers have to have a heads up.

Spicy stir- fried hotpot fried rice really nice I know you want some lol me and the fellas always used to go here after the club.

It’s hit or miss - sometimes best food & sometimes boring. My favourites to order are anything with General Tao chicken - combo, poutine, or just by itself, and the Dry Pot (with a decent hot pot flavour).

They have good 2 for 1 deals on uber eats and I always have a good experience. And general taos that's ACTUALLY spicy! Hard to find in Ottawa!

WOW, fantastic food, world class service. Mango bubble tea with pearls in a cute branded reusable cup. Just great! I will be ordering again. 5/5 all day!

Disgusting. Ordered two combo meals last night - rice was dry (and often crunchy), guy ding was soaked, chicken balls were dry and hard with barely any sauce. Eggroll was delicious.but only got two packs of plum sauce for four eggrolls. Delivery left it at the door and didn't knock. Inexcusably lazy all around, never again.

One of my go-to Chinese restaurants in Ottawa that I often ordered for lunch via UberEats. Hot and Sour Soup is one of my top favourite foods in this world - but it's one of those things that's completely hit or miss. If you're a fan of Hot and Sour soup then you're aware that no two restaurants make it the same. The one at Giant Panda is done right and on point - I eat it so fast that it's hard to avoid burning my mouth and tongue it's so good?

Just too much of sodium glucomate (taste intensifier) just too much, I ate a bit, and couldn't eat further, my mouth sored of it

Great Spot for University Students personally I find their food quite affordable and tasty a complete value for your buck. Their Kung po Shrimp and General Taos Chicken are my favorites

I wish they were more generous on the portion.
Other than that, most of their dishes taste pretty authentic and their rice noodles are good. Service is not bad as well.

Way over cooked almost lost a tooth lol small portions three pieces of chicken in the chop sueym at least if they did not burn the general chicken but the rice was the only good thing how ever i heard they have nice bubble tea that is the only thing i will be ordering from there and maybe a side of rice

Ordered on door dash. Food and portion were great. I wish everything was slightly spicier but that’s my fault for not asking for extra spice. I really don’t understand all these negative reviews.

This place came at the recommendation of another restaurant waitress. The atmosphere was great and the food was top notch.

I always get the bubble tea and ice fruit tea from here, they are very nice. For the food, I like their pan stir-fried hotpot and rice noodles.

It cost me 12 dollars for this yucky, little noodle. 4 slices of tomatoe, 1 egg and 1 piece of vegie. Even they don't provide enough noodle. Believe me, you won't feel full after eating this noodle. Never order again!

Disappointing. Ordered via SkipTheDishes and the food didn't taste like Chinese food.

The beef noodle soup supposedly came with chunks of braised beef but the beef was just stir fried beef slices.

The cumin beef didn't have any flavor. It didn't have the right wok hey.

It was expensive for a small portion of food. Do not recommend.

General taos chicken was very bland very litte taste egg rolls and spring rolls were not the greatest. It is past bank and huntclub but if you want real chinese food check out chips and dairy

I've ordered from that restaurant a few weeks ago and was really please with the food. I've ordered no. 1 combo and chicken it was sooo good! I'll order again, that's for sure! Worth totally the price

The taste of food is like garbage
1. Fried rice - It tasted and smelled burned. I can imagine how dirty the wok is.
2. Deep fried chicken - so dry.it is like deep fried flour without meat. Also, it seemed old since it is cooked.

The only thing to make the place not likeable is it's quite dark and not tidy. However, the staff is very friendly, food is good. It may be considered highest quality for a student served restaurant.

Why the low rating? It's delicious and fresh with quality ingredients. First time order and I am impressed. Only thing was pad thai needed peanuts. Spring rolls are excellent. Look forward to ordering again.

Rememberable! First day of ottawa, we had dinner there! Just living nearby. Convenient place for me.

Ok food.but would only come here for location. Beef rice noodles were broken up and barely any beef - tasted good still and price is alright. Cantonese noodles weren't very crispy.overall I like having chinesenfood so close, but if I had a choice I wouldn't eat here for chinese food.

Was the first time trying this place and gotta say it wasnt too bad at all. With the large number of chinese restaurants in the city competition is high. I ordered a take out meal which for the price was very big portions wise. Very friendly staff and quick service the only downside was that the rice was very dry.

I ordered their dishes once from SkipTheDishes, that tasted too bad to make me feel really wanna come to here and give a 1star for a restaurant for the 1st time. Is their existence for destroy the reputation for Chinese cuisine or to fool people who knows little about what Chinese food should be like? The chef should change a job that suits him/her better.real suggestion
