Giant Tiger

Not a huge store, okay for a quick shopping. Flyer items were in stock. Store has good selection of indoor plants for good prices. Only issue is store employees are bit rude towards certain ethnic group. I hope they treat everyone the same way. Otherwise this is a good store.

I will never shop at any Giant Tiger location every again. Yesterday I went to the Whitby location and the power was out. I was speaking with one of the employees and learned from the person that they're forced to work their entire shift while the power is out. How are these human beings supposed to work in the dark, with no air conditioning when it's hot and humid outdoors. Not to mention, how are they to use the facilities in the dark. Apparently, this is the second time this year they've had to work their entire shift in the dark. They were also held hostage with the wind storm a few weeks ago. Please boycott all locations as they clearly do not respect their employees. It should be called Giant Sweat Shop!

Nice sale on of women's sweaters. Clean store. Washroom I used was clean. Friendly and helpful cashier's.

This giant tiger is great to shop and get great Christmas Gifts and your food here too, cloth to and DVD, video games too, some of their stuff low and high but great thing there. I shop there since they open this Giant tiger they open on Christmas eve too so you get last shopping done I like just did please go check out.

I was trying to order cornstarch online and had some issues with the order appearing to go thru more than once. The customer service at this location as well as online is amazing. Thx to Andy at the 1-877 number, Meghan for the real quick email response and Jonathan at the store for making everything so simple. With staff shortages in many places and machines replacing humans, stores like Giant Tiger are even much appreciated. Thanks guys!

This store needs to make some major gains in customer service and having their items scan correctly at the register to avoid lengthy delay.

I enjoy the deals, prices and variety at the store. Garments are well priced and decent quality. One can get bedsheets, soaps, food, yarn, household goods and a lot of other stuff here. I always enjoy my visits here.

Often hard to find staff to help, but when I do, they always very helpful. They have an amazing return policy.

2 min.walk from us they are very clean as well have a good variety of things not to expensive. The workers are very polite and looking for something they don't hesitate to help. Great place indeed.

Shopping early in the day was a great experience. Fewer people in the store, I was able to shop freely. I found many bargains. Love Giant Tiger.

Large selection. The checkout line was a little confusing we had people coming in and unintentionally jumping the line several times while we were waiting. Staff seemed friendly, ample parking, found what we came there for.

Great Store, they always have the same people working there; unlike wal mart. Wish people wouldn't hog all the sale items though.

Who doesn't like Giant Tiger, honestly? Everything you need under one roof and it's not a huge overwhelming store. Prices are low. Clothing is the cheapest price. The Whitby store is always clean and organized and the staff are friendly. Clearance racks are always good deals. Picked up a shirt today for $7 that anywhere else would be $25. Nice grocery area with fresh meats and good veggies. Lots of frozen foods. Weekly specials for pantry items. Really nice home area with carpets, cushions, accessories, etc. Great deals and quick shopping.

I like that I can shop for household items as well as shoes, curtains AND my groceries all in one clean store.

It took them too long to put more cashiers on this morning considering the line ups to pay and how many customers were in the store

One of the best stores for appropriate social distancing for those that can’t just follow the arrows. Great staff, & always lots of merchandise. Friendly smiling staff, it’s now my favourite Giant Tiger.

An estranged long time friend of mine works here. I recently went shopping at the Whitby location and seeing my estranged friend I waited until I could be checked out by my Friend. A couple days later I told my friend I would come shopping there again today and my friend said that the manager stated I was not allowed to be checked - out by my friend in the future, because of a past mistake involving a stranger and shoplifting?
So, does this mean I too am a shoplifter so I need to stay away from my friend? Plus my friend is a thief?

This store serves the community very well. They have something for everyone with reasonable prices being the norm. But they also have weekly sales, discounts for people who sign up for the VIP program and online deals to compliment it all. The cashiers are friendly and the store is kept clean and organized.

Love shopping at Giant Tiger, always a good fun place to shop. This one has a decent size grocery area as well. Their prices are generally good and competitive and you can find some deals on clothes. They sell a wide selection of women's, men's and kid's clothing. Plus all your home essentials and accessories.

I find alot of really good clothing there. Alot of Sports merch aswell. Best store, wish had one in town

Disgusted at Kaitlyn's behaviour. (White lady with glasses) What an awful person. Very rude supervisor with no customer service skills. I've been shopping at various Giant Tiger locations over the years and this is the only location where I've had a bad experience like this. Very disappointing.

I go here to get things for my house. Prices are pretty good. There’s selection of clothes and toys. The customer service is good but a little slow.

Perfect place to buy all the day to day and necessary stuff you want. The product here of good quality and their staff was too nice with their customer. I like their services and the treat they provide. Overall good to for shopping.

Very poor Produce and Fruit at this location. Food prices rising as quality drops at this No Frills.

I love the Whitby location. It's a fun store. Some really great finds too. Ladies at the cash are friendly and helpful.

Fashions are boring and blah. Same fashions year after year. Some clothing I bought from this store either shrunk in the wash or ripped. Some people working there are rude and seem not welcoming. My last experience there I found good puzzles, they have lots of those.

Clean, busy. Has an older style aesthetic that feels nostalgic and not outdated.

Love the clothes and bedding items.

Giant Tiger has surprisingly nice stuff for cheap. If you're looking for specific things, or a good way to waste an hour, go look around.
