Went to Giant Tigerin Hanover. The store was clean and tidy. The prices were great. They have added some self-serve there now. The person who cashed me through was very friendly.

Lots of good items at Giant Tiger. Sales are great and grocery prices competitive. Love their frozen Jamaican Patties and burritos. They host lots of products from Canadian suppliers.

Self checkouts should not be an excuse for poor service
When you have to stand in line for a cash transaction for well over 15mins while listening to two fully able employees chit chatting and socializing standing doing NOTHING but yet there is another cash register open does not help customer experience
The fact the manager on duty doesn't not acknowledge a customer complaint but does make a snide comment regarding my experience as she walked away.unacceptable!
Crossing shopping here off my list of places to go

I swear every giant tiger store tells their cashiers to go as slow as possible.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices are excellent and I really appreciated the senior's discount

Sad the government closed off alot of these stores but have some of the aisles open
