My favourite place for emergency shopping. They have everything for your daily needs. (Milk and eggs for good price)

Walked here with my son, had five minutes before closing. Doors locked, I opened the exit door and was rudely shooed away explaining that I can't buy my son a slushie because they need to be closed and out the door, all tills wrapped up and finished by 6pm. Explained to rep that I know that is not the store policy, but she shut the door and waived her hand at me as a gesture to leave all the same. Nice.

I had a $50 gift card that was apparently not scanning. My cashier checked the balance *after I paid for my stuff, of which the amount was confirmed. This cashier was very incompetent and didn't even try to rectify her mistake. Pure laziness.

A good store for home interior products, you can get some grocery too and some fairly priced clothes. Overall a very decent store.

I love GT on Kipling. The staff are great, manager John, is always available to speak to. I I have only 2 complaints one is having lottery, returns, and cigarettes all on same cashier and this is a company policy not the story's. Second complaint is the Self Check Out, which only takes Debit or Credit Card and again this is a company not a store decision. I dont agree with Self Check out, puts people out of work or reduces hours to the point they have to get a 3rd or 4th job. Maybe GT Head Office should read some of these posts to hear what customers really think.

Spacious shopping area and very affordable prices for clothing. The plants (indoor and outdoor) are very cheap. This is definitely a one stop shop for everything you need from grocery to gardening items, not to mention a household items. Love shopping here

I go there manly to pick up the donair kits they have them at a good price and they come from NOVA SCOTIA

Giant Tiger NEVER has sale priced items available, they always seem to put out only a few. Stock tracker always says- In stock: Etobicoke, Kipling Ave.

I like the location, it's very convenient for me and great selection and they usually have some good prices. Went to buy a new tablecloth and dishes for my kitchen, the quality was great and price was right! Casher was friendly too, easy shopping

I like the chain of stores and this one is clean and bright. I was coming for a few specials that were in the flyer and found them in stock. Found more than that too, but that's how I shop.

Someone, not necessarily from Giant Tiger, needs to inform me why it is I can no longer find men's briefs in white any more, nor anywhere?

The worst customer service, unfriendly, grumpy cashiers I shop at Kipling locations and all the time cashiers there are so unfriendly they seem not happy working. I have had it today when I stopped by after my children's dropped off to school with the specific cashier name Christine B. I handed in a winning ticket to exchange with another ticket and there she is standing what do you want me to do? You have to tell people what do you want and I was shocked and said its a winning you have to tell people what to do very bad customer service I hope this will be heard
and management has to give action because I regularly shop in this store and vustomer service is really bad I want to buy a lotto max and there she is looking at me and what do you want encode or not and repeat again

Affordable. Same products at different stores are twice as expensive. Strongly recommended if you're trying to safe $

Turns out Giant Tiger sells all the basics I need. Eggs, milk, bread. Perfect local store for being locked down

Incredibly rude customer service, selling expired product and not doing anything about it. My boyfriend accidentally bought expired milk from them and when he brought it up to the manager, he said it isn't his problem and he refused a refund since he didn't have his receipt with him EVEN though he was there not but an hour ago and had the expired milk with him. Incredibly disrespectful and uncaring.

Good prices all around but the fruit and veg is often not great quality. You get what you pay for

I always wanted to go into that store. I was glad i went last weekend! Good customer services and the price are reasonable. I had to return a bra and i had not issue with the customer service! I would definitely go back in the near future

If I could give this giant tiger a zero star I would. The staff are rude. We picked up a toy the price said $10.00 there was scribbling over the price so we thought oh it must be cheaper so we asked and the cashier rudely told us that it was $13.00 we asked how could that be and her reply was not my problem do you want it or not.

If you need something in a pinch, it will do. Don't expect a quick checkout though. HUGE lineups to cash out. You would think that we are still in the early days of the COVID pandemic. Cashiers are friendly, for the most part.

Read before shopping here! They advertise $10 gift cards per every $50 spent up to 4 $10 gift cards. Once I put $150 worth of groceries on the belt; they say “it doesn’t apply to grocery items” which is NOT stated in flyer. Just got screwed out of $30. Would have gone to proper grocery store had I known this. I’m done with GT. Too much of this garbage keeps happening. Sake butter and bacon is conveniently out of stock when it’s cheap. Lost leaders like crazy.

This place has good deals but it's very busy and 3 check out they need to reorganize the system they have there but the deals are very good

I ordered ahead about an hour before I went to pick up some groceries and after I cashed out they brought my order out. Quick and painless

I had the pleasure of being helped by Dawn to get some essential items. She was very helpful, fast and made the process less stressful. Had to get a bunch of stuff. From the grocery store, dollar store.she by far was the best help I had on Friday.

I was very pleased with the service I received from the floor staff helping me find the sale item I needed as well as the cashier at the customer service desk. Thank you.

I went to buy womens scrubs and was disappointed that they were taped off as non essential but, the men's safety vests were not. Thank you to Ray who listened to my concern and assured me she would look into it.

It’s ok store, Some of the sale items need to be refined in terms of quality check before putting them out for sale to the public, and putting them on SALE period! A good store for some decent bargains, check the quality first though! I also suggest that some of the staff pay attention to the level of just “basic” customer service. Yes it can be and is stressful working and dealing with the public but at the end of the day this is your job and part in parcel of being in a place that you work is to be a bit more friendly and courteous. Overall thank you and GT and all the frontline staff. Especially at this time.

I like the store but most times i waste too much time in line while cashiers talk to coworkers rather than cashing people out during this pandemic. My last trip there, i was waiting in line for 5 mins while another cashier at another cash register was standing there fixing and wiping, ok cool. When she was done, she call another gentleman who just got there and went to her line and cashed him out, i then moved to her line to cash out because the cashier on my line was taking too long, besides nobody wants to be there just standing in a line that isn't moving, let alone during this pandemic AGAIN. The Ugly duck then told me that she was closed and carried on with her fixing and wiping. As a cashier she should've been motivated to cash people out and clear the store not choose who to cash out and pretend to be busy while there's a lineup of people waiting to cash out.

This store owner probably can't get anyone to work there so they've gotta put up with all this nonsense. The reason for my review right now is only because I've gotta go back there tomorrow and i'm already thinking about these cashiers and getting out the stupid store. I just wanna stock up and only come out for work but unfortunately at times we've got pieces here and there that we forgot to pick up. Anyway I'm done. I'm gonna suckerpunch a fly tomorrow. Two stars for the great deals and clean store with the very rear good genuine workers in there. I appreciate you guys showing up to work during these times.

Personally not a place I will come back to shop, they have guard rails to prevent you from taking carts to your car. I bought 4 cases of bottled water. It was far more expensive for the water than Walmart, double the price for half the amount and I couldn't bring it in the cart to the car. Otherwise, store was good and people seemed nice. Just my annoyance with those 2 things on my first trip there made me decide it's not my "go to"

Today. In the box area you make a single row and I arrive A woman and it is formed or directly to a box. We asked the cashier to clarify where the line is made. Since we had more than 12 people in a single row. The cashier of 1 did not inport him that two clients were pleading. I spoke to the supervisor and she said it doesn't matter where they were formed. Question If this ma's of 12 customers in a single row because the supervisor and the cashiers allow the others not to be respected

Good selection of clothes, small grocery section, decent sales on. There's no one monitoring how many people are in the store at one time anymore. The cashiers are all generally cranky or uptight. Line ups can get long during busy times

Love this store it is small but it always has a great selection of fresh and frozen foods. Their clothing is always fit for the season and they have a great variety of candy for the kids.

Lots of clothing, beddings, dishes etc but not enough stock for food. Most of the food products on sale were out of stock.

A cool store has movies, clothes and food its kind of like a little Walmart in a decent neighborhood

Staff is friendly. Store just needs more signage or assistance on the floor to help customers search for items they need.

I am pleased with the the layout of the store, although, I would change some of there entrance and exit strategy, it could be a little more organized, as for the cashiers, some of them, have a great sense of humour where others should learn how to be more respectful and mindful to the customer service in general, the cleanliness is okay but can be better.

The place is Giant and prices seems good too, but the moment we touch and feel something like a dress, sheets or any garments one can understand that the price is not really cheap.

Pretty good prices. I like that there is no limit on most sale items. Some clothing pieces however, have a high price mark for what they are, but this isn't the worst thing when there are also amazing quality pieces at a super cheap price.

Kinda similar to Walmart. This branch doesn't have that big space, but lots of choices to pick either groceries, clothes or household stuff.
Prices are reasonable.

My husband and I went to the store on Tuesday morning when we entered there was an employee cleaning the buggies, she was pleasant she acknowledged me the shopping experience was great, I saw some white vest I asked a lady about them she said she is not in that department so she called the lady in that department they were all very nice to me. I continue shopping everything went well when i was finish because of social distance i waited to be called
The cashier who served us her name is christine B she was awesome and she thank us for shopping at the store please let your staff know how much they are appreciated and keep up the good work thanks.

Staff can be rude and excessively loud with each other, which affects the shopping experience negatively. Other than that the store is kept up well.
