One of my favorite spots, paved trails, splash pad, pool, tennis courts, public washrooms and plenty of parking.close to the hospital and UWO.

Nice ride to the park, walking threw park chatting with true friend's. Just it all in one step at at time. Another one of the great parks in London to enjoy.

Great place to enjoy any outdoor activity, and has some nice playground equipment too. Plenty of space for picnics and parking at both ends. I love biking here and going by the river. My friend got married here years back and we had a great time in the gazebo.

It’s such a beautiful park to go for a walk or take your kids to play in the splash pad. Lots of shades, ideal for a picnic?
Love that washrooms are often clean.

A lovely little park to enjoy. It offers a quiet, fun place to bring the kids:) Feeding ducks, a splash pad and park equipment on a plush green landscape. Very enjoyable.

I love this park. I take my child there as much as possible. She loves playground and splash pad. There are lots of places for parents to sit and watch the kids play. Bathrooms and water fountain are always open and easy to access.

I've lived in London for over 15 years and last weekend was the first time I step foot on Gibbons Park. This is a hidden gem without a doubt. Clean, great walking trails, good for biking.

Great park for a stroll or bike ride, allowing or with family/friends. Lots of seating if you need a break. Lovely playground with a small water park/sprinkler area just perfect for summer.

Excellent park for families with young children. From play equipment, Kiwanis outdoor music instruments, public swimming pool with lessons and family swim. There are 3 tennis courts that are in great shape, swings and out door paths. All in a serene forest city land scape with mature trees and plant life. Well done London Ontario.

A great place for a walk or a picnic. Splash pad and playgrounds for you and the kids to let loose. Lots of bike trails and fishing spots if that's your thing and plenty of secret hideaways for making out should the mood strike and you be feeling adventurous. Lol. Feed the ducks and the geese and you might even be lucky enough to meet the "Duece". That's a cross between a duck and a goose. When/if you see him you'll know what I mean.

One of the best parks to picnic at and hangout in London. Love coming here - bring a mat to sit on as there is some geese poop. Otherwise there are some picnic benches and playground for kids to play on.

It’s ok I hate that they moved the washrooms closer to the pool and splash when people need to go if they behind that area it takes to long to walk they people really need to go

Where should I start? This park is fantastic!

Multiple playgrounds for kids, tons of paved trails and some dirt trails, a bridge with a beautiful view of the Thames, tons of geese in this park, washrooms, an awesome splashpad, a pool, good amount of parking and a great picnic spot.

This park has it all. Whether you're coming from the North, South, East or West, since it's central, it's quite easy to get to. We're a family of three, and my son absolutely loved it.

We'll definitely be back to this to explore the trails more when we have our bikes and when it's less hot.

5/5

Nice splash pad and play ground. I think they should open the big pool now. School is done and it is hot. Open that pool please!

A very nice park with multiple playgrounds, a nice path to walk or ride a bike and right by the river

The park itself is beautiful. It is a shame the city do not remove the snow and take care of the walkways during the winter. It is a very dangerous walk.

Life changing place. One of the best parks in London Ontario. There is something for everyone there and and mighty fine spectacular view. Check it out if you've never been, the scenery is immaculate all year round.

It has been years since I've been to Gibbons Park but the change is wonderful. The bridge leading to Beaufort Street is great, the water park and updated playground was great. Peaceful, quiet with lots of benches to just take it in.

Very family friendly. Though walking paths can be widened due to amount of bikers on the path.

Super nice park to take a walk or run through; with connections to other major areas; it has a labelled path, one end going towards the university, and the other end heading towards downtown or Harris park (making your choice while you pass by Blackfriars bridge), if you're looking for the exercise.

This is a large park next to the Thames River. It can be quite a lively park; including wildlife and people. The trees, along the river and spaced throughout the park, are massive and stunning. Other than travelling through the park, you can cool off in a water fountain/spray station, or go for a swim at the public pool. You can also just chill anywhere throughout the park; either at benches, picnic tables or just anywhere you choose. There are also some nice spots along the the river to get nice and close to the water for a great view of the river and wildlife. Some of these spots people are even seen coming to fish.

A wonderful park for walks (short or long). There's plenty of shade and places to take a break. There's usually ample parking too.
12 October 2019 8:20
Beautiful gnarled Willow Trees, benches, fountains, play areas, wildlife galore, sprawling pathways, gently flowing river. Serene bit of country in our bustling city
10 October 2019 7:17
One of the largest parks in the town, this park has got everything, literally everything a park could have.
Three or perhaps more entrances all with good enough free parking. A set of decent (mediocre, but heh, its a park) 3 tennis courts. A creek with ducks and geese, decent size splash pad, play areas, gazebo. Everything. Best of all, the huge area. If anyone is looking for a picnic, you'll always find a good shady area due to the park's sheer size.
Huge thanks to the City for maintaining it as beautifully as they do. Only improvement I'd add is the washrooms. Park can definitely use few extra washrooms.

Excellent park with ample space for a dog to run around in. Many cyclists during commuting hours but nevertheless very safe.
03 October 2019 18:17
Very clean, well maintained. No fear of needles or users. Everyone seems friendly and happy to be there.
03 October 2019 14:17
A lovely park that is well kept. Very peaceful! The park is larger than you may expect if you're walking the length of it.
02 October 2019 8:56
I suggest you for the nice evening walk it not so far from downtown, if you have bike it even more joy
01 October 2019 6:41
One of the best parks in London. You can do various activities there, such as running, biking, playing tennis, playing volleyball, and.
23 September 2019 9:24
Beautiful walk along the Thames. Playground and waterplay area here great for toddlers and young children. Paved path for easy walk, jog, or bike. Can go quite a distance north or south.
02 September 2019 8:04
Calm, peaceful, family, kids, pets friendly.but doesn't have that "wow" factor to it.
It's good but not the best of the lot.
22 August 2019 6:54
Great city park. Always well maintained. Busy and great views of the river and good for rolling balding.

Very fun place to have a good time with your family! Although my niece fell into a bush she got poked by a needle and then ended up getting Hepatitis A
