I recently purchased a Klipsch Cinema 800 5.1 soundbar from Gibbys online. The price was incredible, over $500 cheaper than any other sale price I could find for this product. The bar itself sounds fantastic. The free delivery took 2 days which was surprising. The staff at Gibbys were very helpful and even allowed me to use a discount code after I had already made the purchace. I will definitely look to Gibbys for any future electronic needs.

While contacting the store to inquire about the product I was after I was pleasantly surprised with efficiency and professionalism of sales people.
I got the info I needed over the phone and picked up the item next day without any issues or "discussion" some stores would insist on.

I have been checking their website for a while now, but never took it seriously. That changed with the first purchase, and even though there are closer AV stores, none of them have so much quality products in stock, available in store and online.

I was very dissapointed in my experience with Gibbys Electronic Supermarket. I will not return as a costumer. Here's why:
I ordered a Sonos speaker. It was doing a clicking sound when I was handling it. So I called costumer support and they told me to return it. I did. They then refunded me only part of my order because they said there was no default with the product (my husband, my friend and I all witnessed the clicking sound). They agreed to refund a part of the fees it was costing me in good faith. My bad was that I didn't read all the captions before ordering and trusting the company. Will not buy again. The only reason I'm putting a star is because I loved the product and would have kept it if there was no default.

I had a car audio install done on my 2004 Chevy Impala SS. Install was done by Roland with Mike and Dan telling me what should be done. Roland tuned it all up and it sounds crystal clear and great now. Go to Mike in sale for any help super honest helped me out a ton. Again big shout out to Roland, Mike and Dan.

Dealt with Grant Vash in the sales department to purchase a Denon Home 540 Receiver. There was a fault with the HDMI output on the receiver. Grant had a replacement receiver sent out to me very quickly. Also dealt with Ian in their tech department to problem solve the first receiver that was defective. He was helpful in walking me through some diagnostics to check the receiver to make certain it was defective. He then emailed me a shipping label to return the receiver. As I live in a northern area it was great to deal with the purchase, return and replacement through email and phone. I will definitely continue to purchase from Gibbys. This is my 3rd purchase from them. Well done!

Bought a new item. Took over 3 weeks to arrive within the same province. Arrived in damaged box, unsealed, and item obviously used. Instructions and warranty card aren't even in the box. Offered $20 off the $115 price, or go to the trouble of returning and waiting another 3+ weeks for a replacement. Unacceptable, not the first time I buy from there, but it's the last time I buy from Gibbys.

I bought the 2019 LG C9 65" OLED which I loved for 2 years until a vertical dead pixel line popped up in the middle of my screen. I was furious knowing it was out of LG's warranty. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty through Gibbys which I NEVER do. The warranty process was unbelievably easy and I never had to chase them for answers. Dealing with Mike and Ian I was set-up with the 2021 C1 as a replacement within a week. They have a customer for life now and I just ordered the LG SP8YA sound bar from them. Highly recommend anyone looking for electronics to skip the big box stores and check these guys out.

As a first-time buyer at Gibby's electronics I came in with my family and Will and his staff members made us feel welcome showing patience and a scene of humor with my screaming three year. I went into Gibby's knowing I wanted a Alpine brand but unsure of the sound quality for my truck. Will was resourceful and took his time explaining how excellent those products will be for my application and did not try to upsell me with another brand, he was very knowledge with the multiple products that I acquired. Will provided accurate sound advice and he goes well above the standard customer service practice that you typically get from a electronic stores, for that matter any store.

Will actually worked with me and answered all my questions and helped me feel confident in my choices to help maintain a quality car audio experience, from a head-unit, component / coaxial door speakers, matching power amplifier, to achieve that Hi-Res soundstage upgrade I wanted for my truck. Definitely a quality package and he gave a better pricing off the sticker price all with-in my budget. Will even helped me bring my muilty purchase products to my truck without hesitation he's very professional and genuinely kind with a passion for electronics.

I'm thinking of upgrading my home theatre my next purchase will definitely be at Gibby's Electronics Supermarket.

I can not speak highly enough of Gibby’s Electronics! I was interested in buying two new televisions and was given the privilege of being serviced by Joey Decicco. Wow! What outstanding service! Joe was incredibly knowledgeable about televisions, their relative merits and their assembly. Joe was the consummate professional. With grace and a total lack of pretension he helped me understand what TVs to buy and with what, if interested, accompanying sound bars and wall mount versus free standing options. If you want a deeply knowledgeable, friendly, and no pressure interaction with a top notch sales associate Joe is your guy! What a terrific sales experience!

My wife and I moved into a new build and had planned out our location for the TV in the basement. Once we moved in we realized that the planned location would not work and now wanted to put it on an outside wall which did not have a power outlet.

We bought a 65 inch Samsung with the SONOS Beam. Joe, Hugo, and Steve did our install. They did an excellent job and fed the power behind the wall so we ended up with a clean install. Steve also tweaked up our SONOS system and gave me good advice about our UNiFi network.

I ended up buying a TV for a little more than I had originally intended but I am extremely happy with it. There was no high-pressure sales agenda but helpful advice. They saw me hesitate and asked what would help me make up my mind. They ended up accommodating me. My wife is also very pleased with the purchase. Great experience.

Beware! Worst customer service. Be very careful if you buy something defective or want to return a product. They charge 50% and pretend it's damaged even if you have proof it's not and they don't supply anything to back their claim. Made a mistake buying from a 3rd party (Gibby's) on Amazon. Never again!

I bought a 7.1 Klipsch speaker system from them and they gave me a really good deal. The sales associate Grant was knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the process.
The rear speakers ended up being too big so I exchanged them for in ceiling speakers which was hassle free from Gibbys.
After all was installed I had an installation issue so I called their installation department and Dave gave me a couple of ideas to check and sure enough that was my problem.
This is truly a business that not only sells high end product but backs it up with professional salespeople and fantastic customer service. Tried dealing with the same type of company in Hamilton but received attitude and very little help.

I called to ask for a manager about a situation I had a few days ago days with a sales associate. He responded by saying the manager was not in for the next two days (!?)

The receiver asked what the situation was about and I said I'd rather speak to the manager and not name names. I was summarily hung up on. I called again to simply ask again and was hung up on again.

We bought a Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-BK Direct-Drive turntable from them off Amazon in July 2019. I was initially a little nervous because it was shipping from Ontario but I was impressed with how well it was packed. It came perfectly! Unfortunately we left for a trip and I couldn't do an Amazon review in time but my hubs was very happy with his birthday gift!

Ça me rendait nerveux d'acheter une table tournante de plus de $1000,00 en ligne (Technics SL-1500c). En plus ce magasin n'est pas à ma porte. Compte tenu des stocks j'ai décidé de tenter ma chance. J'ai reçu un service rapide et super efficace. J'ai appelé à la boutique pour faire un suivi de ma commande, un certain Andrew ma servi et ma mentionné s'occuper de l'envoie lui même pour accélérer les choses. Le lendemain matin je recevais ma table avec 2 jours d'avance. À noter que cette table est présentement impossible à trouver en stock au Québec suite à de nombreux appels.

Ils ont très souvent en stocks des produits qui ne le sont pas ailleurs. Je n'avais jamais encore acheté avec eux. Je peux assurer que ce n'est pas la dernière fois!

Good luck on getting a refund. I returned the product, and they said I never did. I will never do any business with them ever again.sad part is it looks like I’m ordering from Amazon, but that’s not true, they are considered as a third-party seller. Friendly service, but highly unorganized and borderline unethical. I ordered a a receiver, bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer from Gibby's over the phone. The service over the phone was great, and the shipping was unexpectedly fast. Unfortunately they sent me a lesser version of the subwoofer I paid for, strike 1. This is an understandable mistake, and Gibby's quickly sent me a return label to ship back the wrong sub. Unfortunately they couldn't send me the actual sub I ordered until they could inspect the sub I returned. Once they received the sub and confirmed everything was in order, they let me know that they only have an open box subwoofer in stock, and even more surprisingly was that originally they wanted to charge me the full price for it, strike 2. After protest, they came back with a miniscule discount. At this point, I decided to cut my losses and buy the sub somewhere else and this is where, in my opinion, things became unethical. Once I asked for the refund, the Sales Rep tried to offer me a refund $40 less than what I actually paid for the sub. He tried to explain the reasoning over the phone, but the explanation was flawed, I directly asked if the difference in price was due to being charged for shipping, he said no. I asked to see a copy of the invoice and that is when I understood what was happening. In the invoice they had added a line item for the shipping cost, and then reduced the cost of the sub to cancel out the shipping cost, leaving me out of pocket for the refund. Fortunately, after protest, they quickly rectified the situation by offering a full refund, but if I had not pushed back or reviewed the invoice, I would be 40 bucks short.

In summary, due to there friendly service and wide selection I wouldn't steer anyone away from purchasing inventory in the store, but I would be cautious buying things online or over the phone. If you need to return something, please review the invoice closely so no one tries to pull a fast one on you.

I went to Gibbys for the first time this week with an idea of what I was looking for. When I got there I was very pleased with the service. As I arrived Jake helped me through the whole process trying to find that perfect home theater set. He helped me thoroughly finding a good speaker set with receiver. Now that the speakers are installed I'm happier than ever, and the whole experience I had with Gibbys and Jake was fantastic. I definitely recommend to go here for your audio needs.

I was looking for A Furman Power conditioner in Canada, and saw that Gibby's had the one i wanted in stock. I ended up buying 2 units at a great price. Dan was very easy to work with, he helped me through the Paypal payment deal. I had a CC issue on my end, I got that straightened out and Dan was kind enough to give me his cell number so we could get the sale complete even though he was done work for the day. That speaks volumes to me. This was Dec 22, he shipped it out on the 23rd, and i received it this morning the 29th as stated. I couldn't be happier with the service shipping and products. Will be looking to Gibby's for all my Audio needs now, and i live in another province as well, thats how impressed i was.

Very disappointed, I ordered 3.1CH Dolby Atmos DTS: X SOUNDBAR through Amazon for $598 on December 23 night, and after few hours December 24th they putted on additional discount and it became $499. I contacted the seller through Amazon, and Gibby's Online Team refused to apply the additional discount to my order and even before it was received.
