This woman knocked my aunts bowels trying to get an ovary out and caused her to become septic and in the ICU in a coma for 4-6 weeks and never came around to visit and another surgeon had to come on and fix her traumatic and big mistake. No apology was made to my aunt nor family members to this day and this was in 2007. Then in 2009 she had to deliver my distressed baby by emergency c section and caused so much damage to my uterus and ended up having to have a radical hysterectomy a week ago. I wish no stars given and again never owned up to her major mistakes. Two thumbs down. Do not recommend!

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Dr Oliver.
I was scheduled for a life-changing Hysterectomy. Unfortunately this surgery was canceled twice, very last minute, at no fault of Dr Oliver or her team. I fell incredibly ill twice. Dr Oliver was very understanding and got me in as soon as I was recovered.
Everything from scheduling appointments, to the actual surgery, was excellent. I highly recommend Dr Oliver.

I was a client of Dr. Lam for both pregnancy and through birth control insertion which was done at my follow up apt following child birth.

Throughout the entire pregnancy process, she was very informative and made sure I knew what was going on and what was expected of me. She sent me for additional tests as needed etc. Dr. Lam is definitely very to the point, which understandably could turn people away. I preferred it however, as it gave me the information I needed while not wasting either of our time with unnecessary banter.

When it came to the birth control, we discussed my options at my last apt before I had my daughter. This gave me time to research and request they order what I preferred. I didn’t take the pain medicine as they requested day off, and although it was uncomfortable, it wasn’t unbearable. She did the same process any doctor would do, so any pain was a lack of effort on my part.

The booking staff and other techs there were also friendly. Not ‘motherly’ but informative.

Very direct to the point but in friendly manner. I was amazed by how professional and timely each visit was.

Very pleased with Dr. Lam. Though it is a busy office, Dr. Lam was very thorough. She is so very knowledgeable and caring. The office support is top notch too. Many thanks for the excellent care.

Doctor Oliver is an absolute angel and has changed my life. She always made me feel safe and cared for and explained both my laparoscopy and hysterectomy before each procedure. I highly recommend her, you truly couldn't be in better hands, she has the most beautiful heart. Also her receptionist is extremely helpful, warm and welcoming and a wonderful to help with anything you need.

This is long overdue - Dr. Oliver was my OB for my June 2021 birth. You can tell she is a very busy woman, so our appointments are usually efficient and straight to the point, which doesn't bother me because I usually prefer this style of communication (others may view it as not personable which I've noticed in other reviews). The only downside was I felt I had to come prepared with a list of questions, otherwise there wouldn't be much discussion because we didn't chitchat. She delivered my baby at the Grand River hospital and she was phenomenal. Very professional and I had comfort knowing I was in good hands. She knows what she's doing!

Was referred to Dr. Lam by my family doctor. Missed a couple phone calls to confirm my appointment. Upon calling back it was stated that the best way to contact them was via email. Which is totally ok. I finally googled the office and found their reviews to be unsettling. After confirming. I changed my mind and emailed them to cancel my appointment. They responded on Monday and I'm GLAD I cancelled. The response was so rude. My scheduled appointment was for the upcoming Thursday. Not the next day. Although I've never met these people it's very obvious the other reviews about their terrible attitude is true.
