Has sign outside advertising 50% off takeout. After ordering and picking up found out it applies to certain items only. If you're going to give a 15% discount advertise that instead. Sushi quality ok, definitely not the best in Vaughan.
DO NOT COME HERE! Well I would like to start saying the service is terrible and the vibes as well. The price is insane for not options on the menu. The owner was literally jellying to the staffs front of the costumer and her kids playing around the table with no care at all. I came to have a relax lunch by myself but I couldn’t. The food terrible, anything tastes good. The food took too long and I had to ask three time for my order of sushi that I made since I get here.
Absolutely horrible experience. Waited 2 hours. Got only four of the 11 items I ordered. Then got excuses from management saying that it was their cooks fault or whatever. Even though I saw four tables around me come and go getting full orders, eating, paying and leaving to the point where I stood up and said I don't want the food anymore and left I will never again come here this place was once good horrible staff and service everyone is clueless.
This place is a great Go To as a back-up plan. They seem to focus on their food delivery companies more than their In House service. If you are already a regular customer, you should be okay. You will be greeted warmly and welcomed. If you only go once a month or two, you will be pining for attention. Before Covid hit, I was a weekly customer. And even with my generous tipping and polite and friendly manner, seldom would any establishment and customer relationship build up. It is oddly and disappointingly strange how if you look like you are a Woodbridge resident, you get better service. If you look like you came from Markham or Scarborough or Brampton, your verbal exchanges seem to be of shorter and less deep in nature and/or importance. I am not flashing the Race Card. I am merely highlighting unusually coincidental observations that seem to support a biased treatment of varying customers. I have been in the Food And Beverage And Hospitality industry for more than 3 decades. I have worked both front and back of the house. I have served local neighbourhoods as well as international celebrities. I am not new to social conventions and the downfalls of the economically trodden upon. Next time you are there, just quietly observe the behaviour of the floor staff and decide for yourself. Of course, if you are one of the recipients of actual kindness and social politeness at this restaurant, no need to comment. We all already know how great life is for you here. Low-key, casual, infrequent diners for In House or Take Out, be prepared to see what you can not unsee. The emotional betrayal is hard to stomach, unlike the yummy food, which is delicious and beautiful to look at. The kitchen is consistent with their quality and freshness. When my 3 first choices for Asian AYCE are too busy for me and my groups, Ginza is a solid back up that rarely fails with the food. Good quality, consistent and situated in a pretty convenient location. The interior is also beautifully designed and decorated.
I’ve been meaning to write this review a while now, so here goes. These guys are the best! We moved here from Vancouver and we’re so worried we wouldn’t find good sushi IYKYK! Not only is their all you can eat menu regular sized rolls, it is ALWAYS fresh. To top it off Catherine is sooooo nice with our kids and we always feel like we are at home with the staff. It can get busy evenings later in the week and on weekends, but Monday/Tuesday is nice and quiet. Do yourself a favour and check this place out, see you there!
A great little sushi restaurant. I’ve ordered takeout many times, and I’ve eaten in once. The sushi is always fresh and great, portions are perfect, and they taste amazing. They have a great selection and I’m always impressed.
When I ate in, service was a bit slow, but food quality was still great.
Most recently, when picking up my order, it was placed well in advance for a specific time and I had to wait (even though there was nobody eating in and only one other pickup order), but perhaps it was an off day.
We were seated by a disgustingly dirty fish tank that you could see the debris caked on the glass smell throughout the whole restaurant. The place felt dirty and looked extremely poor. Food was absolutely disgusting, just poor quality ingredients nothing tasted fresh at all. The quality of the ingredients are hidden by piles of spicy mayo, tempura bits or teriyaki sauce. Paid 90 bucks before tip because they charged me 3 extra dollars for not finishing 6 pieces of sushi because I found it unappetizing. The whole experience felt like fear factor. More like McDonald's quality sushi. Don't go here if you value your well being
Placed an online order they had no record of it. Didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. Provided a screenshot, number confirmation and name. The lady working there got frustrated and started yelling at me that she doesn’t have it. Worst experience ever.
The staff were slow and not so friendly. The tea was very cold and tasted like water. We had to wait a long time for the waitress to come back with cutlery and they didn’t seem to be properly trained for the job. The food tasted old and nothing was even close to good. I never leave reviews. This was lazy! The dishes weren’t as clean as other sushi places in toronto. Overall, I’d never come back to this one. Don’t waste your money there!
Amazing service, thank you for welcoming our big group with kids. Very kind staff. Food is good, we had all you can eat sushi. Highly recommended this place. Will be back again!
