Ice is great, great crowd and always a good game of shinny.plus there is a second rink dedicated for leisure skating.too bad too many people go to this rink now a days

It's a nice little public rink that's divided into two main skating sections. One section is walled off so people have have a game of hockey. At the same time there's a second section of ice, completely separate, off to one ice of the hockey rink where casual skating can be done. This second rink is off good ice, slightly smaller than the hockey rink. Ice is well maintained. There's a few benches you can sit on to put your skates on and just leave your shoes by it while you skate.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it is a nice rink. In winter, one side is for hockey while the other is for open skate. While in spring, summer, and fall it is a tennis court on the open rink and a ball hockey court on the other side.

Staff is nice and it's in a nice area with many different places to eat at. Only downside are the patrons, people who come and use the rink. In winter, those playing hockey will purposely shoot at the boards and glass to scare the skaters and in the other seasons, skaters will use it as a skate park.

Update: during covid it's been better for skating since hockey is not permitted but it's still pretty crowded and busy.

This place is really cool. I wish it wasn’t going to become a sad condo; why not add to a community instead of paving it over?

Classic ice rink for ice skating and ice hockey practice. The rink was open till a few weeks ago but now closed due to hot weather and it's hard to maintain.

There's another rink as well for ice skating totally. The park is amazing and its the worth a visit and then frequent visits. Can't wait to ice skate there!

Wonderful for swimming all yr round at the indoor pool. Outside is great also but not for the little ones (-4 yrs old). There are family washrooms which are great so both parents are able to help the kids. There is the hockey rink in the winder and soccer in the summer. Further into the back of the rink way in the back is a playground with a huge sandbox which contains a water pipe to help with the sculptures. The also have summer camp options upper staff are great but some of the other younger staff in my daughters class were not so responsible (on theirs phones and pick no one paid attention) but my younger son’s class (4yrs old) staff was amazing and excellent. Could not ask for a better set of young adults to leave my child with).

There are two skating rinks, one for hockey and one for leisure skates. Both of which are well maintained although I would like it more if the ice is resurfaced more often since it usually has bumps and I keep losing my edge. In a nutshell, it is an excellent place for novice practices, leisure skate and hockey skates. Hopefully more room will be provided for skate lessons.

The kids basically grew up here.so grateful it’s so close by. One rink for casual skating and another for games. Kids park and fields nearby. All are maintained well.

Went there for skating. Good double pad of ice that was well maintained even in the warmer weather.

I am going to this place for my daughter's ballet and we love it, just not like that they moved the classes and didn't call in advance to inform

Pick-up soccer in the summer and hockey in the winter. Free-skate and tennis are also available depending on the season.

Best outdoor rink in the city, great ice, huge ice surface with boards and fencing. Lots of fun to come out and play shinny here!

Big park, new playground looks pretty good, splash pad, toilets, track, dog park, soccer and basketball, and a great mix of different people and cultures.

Love it. Lots of activities for the young and young at heart. Tons of soccer fields and a pool. Can't go wrong

Arguably one of our countrys favourite passtimes. Summer activities take place here as well. A swimming pool is next door.

It is a very nice place where you can spend the winter time.
If you like outdoor sport and you live close to this area this is the best!
