Glad Day Bookshop

Was there for a Sunday drag show brunch. Entertainment was good but food was absolutely disgusting. How can breakfast be so expensive and so bad? Come on guys. Just a little pride. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and English muffin.

The most amazing selection of LGBTQ+ books I’ve seen. I wish there were more places like this!

Is this a business or an entertainment joint? Came I to look for books and was told I could only browse the front section because there was a drag performance that took up half the store. I ended up leaving. You can't shop for reading material with that loud music and screaming people. And businesses wonder why we go to Amazon.

This bookstore and coffee shop is definitely on top of my list! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Glad Day is a great space to come a do some work or just grab your favourite book and read. Their book collection is great, and the fact that it is queer oriented is just fascinating. There are so many good queer books literature that I knew because of them. If you're looking some queer literature or academic literature swing by.

By the way, check the events calendar because they always have nice events happening.

Brunch is classic, but the tequila Caesars are among the best I've ever had. Drag brunch here was the most fun I've had eating breakfast in ages

Large array of events to visit and totally worth visiting! Very supportive and loving community. Great book store in general too.

Came here for drag brunch a few weeks back and had the most wonderful time. The staff and performers are incredibly friendly, and you can tell they are truly having a good time. The performance was so fun, and the perfect thing to perk you up on a weekend morning.
Be sure to have cash on you! While they do accept tips via machine, it's much more fun to be able to tip with cash.
This is a must do in Toronto.

I went here for their Karaoke nights and everyone was so nice and supportive! The Venue at night feels so warm and welcoming. The lights are pretty too and the staff were so kind and accomodating!

Communal Queer Spaces are such special places and this one warmed my heart! I wish I found it sooner.

Selena Vyle was fantastic; personable, engaging, with super energy and spirit. Sadly the second performer was none of the same qualities and the food was cold and marginal to say the least. We were greatly disappointed in this experience.

A staple in the village. Has great events and drinks with a nice atmosphere. Employees are absolutely lovely and welcoming. The variety of books they have is also very impressive and is well categorized.

Drag brunch at Glad Day bookshop is excellent and great fun in a group of people. Good food, vegan options, excellent entertainment!
