Glamorous Touch

I am extremely happy with the cut I received. My hair has never looked better! I have been wearing my hair up for the last 20 years. I could never get a cut or find product that really suited my curly hair. My hair was always frizzy and bushy. The cut and suggested products work magnificently! I now wear my hair down most of the time.
The staff are very knowledgeable and professional.
I am super impressed with the service I received. I wish I knew of this place years ago. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’ve never looked better!

I asked for highlights, and was told no problem. A cap was placed on me, After it was done my hair and I saw it was orange and I was told "highlights are not my speciality"
I was only told that AFTER - (1 week before a wedding.)
I wasn't charged.but that does not make up for my hair being ruined.

Hycith seems like a nice person who knows hair pieces though I'm sure.

Hyacinth is an excellent hairdresser who takes her time to understand your needs and provides expert advice on hair care. I have been doing relaxers and treatments here for more than a year and am really satisfied with the results I have gotten so far. Thank you, Hyacinth!

They definitely know what they’re doing! A cute shop with a beautiful interior design:) the ladies were very nice and consistently asked if my mother liked her hairstyle. They asked if I was doing well while waiting for my mother to finish and kept my mother and I entertained:) overall a 10/10 super nice people and a joy to be there! Hyacinth definitely knows what she is doing! She did my first ever “curly” cut and though she said it would most likely take 3 or 4 cuts to see optimum results I could immediately see the difference in my curls. My hairstylist that I have been going to for years encouraged me to seek out a curly salon and every time I see her now, she comments on how great my curls look and what a great curly cut I have … she is thrilled with the results too. There is no doubt that I’ll be going back to Hyacinth. (BTW my profile pic is from long before I went to Hyacinth and so my hair is not a representation of her work). Hyacinth and her staff were very welcoming, friendly, and professional. The salon atmosphere was relaxed, and the salon was clean.

Way below my expectation, had no awareness of the different types of black hair. If you have a natural hair please do not waste your time and money. Also, if a non-melanated customer comes in you will be totally forgotten. Now, what does that say about the character- I’ll leave it at that. I would give it Zero star if I could.

I went to this salon for the first time, and would like to give a fair review. The salon was clean, the stylist was friendly. However, she was quite rough when blow drying my hair. The silk press was ok. The price for the service was outrageously expensive. I know that I was fleeced - - $70 for a trim? Not a hair cut, just trimming my ends! This was in addition to the base cost of the wash and silk press. I was told at the time of booking, that the prices listed on the website were a general range. This allows plenty of room to increase rates without committing to a price up front. How in good conscience can you charge a client that, and sleep at night? Stating that a reviewer isn’t in your system is an attempt to invalidate the review. It doesn’t work. The review stands. Overall, because of these reasons, I will not be returning to this salon.

This salon is amazing! The owner is so helpful and knowledgeable. Great job with extensions and working with damaged natural hair. We will continue to make the drive from Sarnia for her expertise. Highly recommend.

Best place for curly hair! I cut my hair here once and will never go anywhere else. No one else knows how to cut curly hair like Hyacinth.

Loved my hair cut! I’ve never had a better hair day then after getting a trim here. Also really liked their curl cream.

When I came to the salon, I had problems with my scalp and hair breakage. Hyacinth used a special shampoo and one of her hair products, I have been using them routinely and it has done miracles to my hair and scalp! Thank you Hyacinth!

Love this hair salon! I have been coming here since December and my hair is growing! The products have made all the difference and Hyacinth is really invested in working with me to reach my hair goals.
