Glen Cairn Public School

My son is thriving in his first year of middle school. He has joined many clubs, tried out for sports teams and is really enjoying all of his teachers and classes!

Yikes, this school is a big disappointment. Glen cairn is the most problematic school I have attended, and made my middle school experience terrible. To start off with the interior, Glen Cairn is a very dirty school. The bathrooms rarely get cleaned and always smell disgusting. The girls’ washroom never gets restocked with period products or even toilet paper. If something is lacking, you have to go to the office and ask. In the winter time the heaters get turned off due to financing issues, and same goes to the AC in the summer time. The school dances and graduation couldn’t have been more disappointing. They decorated the gym with balloons on the stage and that’s it. Since the AC was off, it was really hot in the gym and made you want to leave.
During the two years that I have been in this school we went on a “field trip” once, and even that was a LITERAL walk in a park. Now onto teachers. Most of the teachers are very biased in this school. They don’t teach students properly, and if a student asks for help, they reply with a sarcastic joke and make the students seem stupid because they don’t get it. People get in trouble for small things that they do, and sometimes even get suspended. From my experience, my lunch monitor wouldn’t even let us stand up during lunch and would call us a kindergarten classroom because we got up to throw out our trash? So to everyone who is thinking of going to this school, don’t.

Edit: ignore any 5 star review, trust me they might act nice and friendly infront of parents but they are nothing like that infront of kids, if your kids say they like this school make sure they aren't nervous of you

NEVER let your childen go to this school. The teachers are the worst that i have ever experienced and the washroom is disgusting. They have no budget and they own like half the school or sum like that. They dont even have AC when its hot as hell in the summer, they just use some cheap fans. The principals, except for mr sasch, always try to suspend you for the smallest thing possible. Overall, this school is the worst I have ever been to and I dont think anyone should let their kid go here.

DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I honestly made the worst mistake of my life going to this school. This school does not do anything about any trouble the school is not clean. The environment is very toxic. They never refill the female bathrooms. Bathrooms are rarely cleaned. Save your child and please dont let them go to this school.the teachers have been biased and which is not fair. Overall DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!
