Glenview Senior Public School

I go to Glenview and they are not very well put together. I went to the school for 6 months before I even knew we had a guidance counselor.

All of the one star reviews are a result of racist parties making exaggerated statements after a small fight between a white and black student.

I know absolutely nothing about this school, but I am leaving a 5-star review to help balance out all of the negative reviews left by the outrage mob. People hear one side of a story on social media and become enraged, which leads to division and intolerance. Give civility a chance!

It's such a disappointment that such schools still exist in today's society. Bullying, racism, or any form of discrimination is absolutely unacceptable and, whomever fails to understand this should face severe consequences. It shouldn't take a disturbed parent to publicize her frustrations for the school to take action. What a shame!

Honestly I am a grade 8 student for the 2018/19 year and I am appalled at the way this school manages problems. I came here in October of the 2017/18 year hoping for a better experience. The office staff is disrespectful, the teachers are unforgiving. If you do not abide the rules, you will be targeted. Teachers will mark you harsher and you will loose time to do your own thing and major amounts of homework they assign at the very long detention sessions. If you are ever thinking of coming to attend this school. Please don’t. There are so many options out there and this is not a viable one.

Disgusted by the fact that they solve issues based on race. Would rate a 0 if I could. Students shouldn't be in fear coming to school, and knowing that the administrators wouldn't do anything. Especially if they are a person of colour. FIRE THE VP RIGHT NOW.

Faculty has no concern for the safety of their students. If your a person of colour this school will NOT look out for your well-being, nor respond appropriately to incidents that happen on school grounds. Unfortunately an incident needs to be made public before the appropriate actions are taken, shows the integrity of the people working at this location.

This school has no regard or care for the safety of students that attend it.they say they solve problems based on race & tax brackets and will justify doing so in the year 2019; god forbid you are a poor minority who faces bad treatment in this school, you will get no justice. I am seriously disappointed as this goes against what canada stands for.administrators at this school should be ashamed of themselves.

I have to rate this school 1 star for lack of lesser stars.

Thankfully there is social media outlets to showcase how disgusting human beings really are. And here we are thinking people have evolved. No person should be able to judge ANYONE, least of all a child, by their race, their area they reside at or their tax bracket. Just disgusting and disappointing.

Apparently there is bullying going on within the school. A boy is bullying a girl, the VP and SUPERINTENDENT are doing NOTHING to stop this boy from bullying her. It may be because of the different races between them i do not know. What i do know is regardless of the race he as a boy should not be able to continue bullying this girl because of his "future". His parents and the school need to be held accountable. Why is this little boy able to get away with bullying someone elses child since NOVEMBER 2018 and still attend the school with no form of discipline? I would NEVER send my child to this school EVER! Do not do it if you care for your childrens safety! They do not care about their well being they care about the dollars! Please protect your children at all costs from schools like this! Where your childs safety is secondary!

This school allowed a teacher to tolerate bullying and racist behaviour without letting the parent know. When another student got violent, the teacher/principle tried HIDING the students bruises! Very very disappointing.

Abosolutly disgusted at how the school VP and faculty members run this establishment. The school VP, Guadiance councillor and teachers allow racial slurs, bullying and violent behaviour while lying to parents about the safety of their children. This is a highly racist and violent environment where no parent should send their child. The animalistic boy that has been bullying and brutally injured a young lady by the name of Genesis should be held accountable for his disorderly behaviour. Terrible learning environment.

Just read an news article about what has been going on in this school and it is an outrage! Shame on the teachers that have covering up the abuse.disgraceful

Principal was unaware of anything, teachers were so blind to bullying and the other students were horrible. This was the worst school I've been to in my entire life. I highly recommend sending your child elsewhere. I have learned nothing at this school. The principle was horrible to the parents and say its my fault. I rate worst then 1 star. I am a student and they can punish me but my thoughts matter even if the teachers don't care

The best school ever! I went there and the teachers want to just prepare us for high school which an excellent goal for the school.
