I wasn't sure how many stars to actually give in this review so I went with 3 so it'd be right in the middle.

Jonas is absolutely a 5/5 instructor, in fact I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. Really clear, good energy, and doesn't shout at you or make you feel anxious.

I had a really horrible experience with the school itself though, if I could give them no stars I would. Spent nearly $1000 on a teacher who made me deeply uncomfortable, and brought up inappropriate topics in our lessons, and made me feel anxious to drive every time. Only after complaining severely did they say they would switch me to Jonas if I paid for more lessons and even admitted he is significantly better than their other teachers.

If you use Globe, only take lessons with Jonas even if you need to wait a little longer to start, it's worth it and will save you money in the long run.

I did my G2 test today for the first time and I passed. Mr. Jonas was my driving instructor. I highly recommend Mr Jonas because he is so knowledgeable and was patient with me throughout my driving lessons. He helped build my confidence and explained everything I needed to know. I read good reviews about him initially and that was I specifically asked for him and I am so glad that I did. Thank you so much Mr. Jonas, I can’t wait to take my G driver’s license lesson with you.

Jonas is great instructor and makes driving with him very easy.friendly environment when driving with him. Took the time to explain everything and go step by step. I recommend people use him as the instructor.

I signed up over the summer hoping to get my g2. After doing my courses I learnt how to drive from Javed and was able to pass my road test on my first try. Overall it was a seamless and and easy experience

I started my driving lessons in preparation for the G2 test and had Jonas as my driving instructor. I didn’t have much experience and am a nervous driver in general, Jonas was calm but direct when needed to guide you safely and smartly. He builds your confidence in smaller residential neighbourhoods, drilling the basics with every stop sign, uphill and downhill parking, 3 point turn and parallel parking with his helpful tips to ensure the smoothest result. Over the course of the lessons you’re able to cover every move you may be expected to perform on the test as well as varying speeds and locations. I can say I am a more confident driver because of his guidance. Thanks Jonas and Globe Driving!

The in-class lessons were well done and gave me a good base. However, the in-car driving lessons, I noticed inconsistencies and fluctuation of quality. I took 10 hours but got very little in return. I tried three instructors at this school. The first one I only took 2 lessons with because he was unprofessional and yells. The other two were chill, but they would talk on the phone during my lessons which bothered me. They encouraged me but they were not very involved in instruction.it wasn't hands on.it was more like renting a car to practice with someone knowledgeable by my side.sometimes, I felt that I couldn't interrupt the instructor to ask a question when instructor was on the phone. They talk a lot in non-driving issues. I really wanted to like this driving school. I gave it a chance. I recommend it if you know how to drive and just need a car and instructor. First time learners take at your own risk.

I was assigned Jonas for my in car lessons. He was patient and made you feel comfortable when mistakes were made. He gave tips and tricks on how to properly perform the maneuvers and showed all the G2 testing components on the first day of lessons and allowed for practice and a few additional skills for the rest of the lessons.
If you end up choosing this driving school make sure you get assigned to Jonas he is the best instructor they have there, you'll actually get responded to and learn what is necessary for the road test.

I just took my G2 road test and passed on the first attempt. If you choose Globe Driving Academy, then make sure you get Jonas as your in car instructor, he has many helpful tips and will ensure you are prepared for your test and will pass.

COVID restrictions created a backlog that made it hard to schedule with drivers, and had to change drivers twice. However, the staff at the office were very responsive and helpful and my second driving instructor Raza, was very professional and supportive always giving me great advice. Overall I recommend this driving school the competitive price also helps!

It was a very good experience. They were very patient and gave very good advice for my mistakes. They also prepared me very well for the test by repeating everything they go over on the test including the routes making me feel very comfortable come time for the test.

I recommend my instructor Nickolas. He is a wonderful trainer and comes with lot of experience in training varied set of people. I come from India with right hand drive and he understood that and corrected my way of driving. Today i completed G2 Exit Test.

Nickolas was my driving and instructor and he is really helpful and has really good way of teaching you to drive confidently. Passed G2 on first try thanks to help and making me a good driver. Highly recommend him.

I would like to join numerous negative reviews of students who happened to fall through the cracks during the pandemic. My son completed his in class lessons in Aug of 2019, it took him months to set up the in car driving lessons. He managed to get a couple of lessons before the pandemic and then TO was in and out of numerous lockdowns. His instructor became unresponsive, attempts to change the instructor lead nowhere, every now and then we would call the school asking for a new instructor, months would go by and nobody called back. We recently found out that instructor Rosie has left the country altogether, I guess she was paid for all 10 lessons and that is why the school was so reluctant to provide another instructor. We have tried reaching out to the owner and spoke with her several times over the course of two years without any result, yesterday we were informed that my son has taken too long to finish the program and he would have to reregister and do it all over again. Maria, you have got to be kidding, do you think we would like to go through all this aggravation again and fork over more money?
I would urge everyone considering this driving school go somewhere else to actually get what you pay for.

Jonas was an amazing instructor. He helped me understand the rules of the road and was kind and professional throughout the duration of our sessions working together. If anybody is looking for an instructor, I highly recommend Jonas.

My driving instructor, Jonas, is amazing. He is very kind, professional and knowledgeable in driving. I learned so much from him, way more than I did when I took lessons from another driving school. This is because Jonas dedicates his full time and attention to teaching his students. Unlike some instructors, Jonas does not waste your money or time. He will teach you everything you need to know and prepare you well for your road test the first time around. Jonas also communicates information and instructions very clearly and is patient and calm. If you make mistakes or get nervous, he does not raise his voice or lose his temper. Instead, he will calmly explain what you did wrong, and he will spend more time practicing with you. He will also use different methods (such as visuals) to explain concepts, which was quite helpful. Jonas is also very considerate and thoughtful. If you tell him your concerns, he will try his best to change the lessons based on your needs. For example, when I told him I was worried about not getting enough practice as my family does not have a car, Jonas suggested that I meet closer to the training area to reduce the time wasted in traffic. That way, I will have the maximum amount of time each lesson to practice in the car with him. He also suggested that we schedule lessons consecutively so I can practice consistently and remember the concepts more. Jonas is truly a great teacher and cares a lot about his students. His overall kind and calm demeanor makes students feel very comfortable and at ease with him. As a nervous driver with limited driving experience, Jonas has changed my perspective and fears about driving. He has shown me that driving is not as scary as I had imagined and that I can become a good driver through proper training and practice. As a result of his teachings and encouragements, I was able to pass my G2 Road Test on my first attempt last week. I am very grateful for his help, and I highly recommend him to everyone. He is truly the best of the best in the industry! I hope the driving school recognizes his great work, and I look forward to learning from Jonas as I proceed with my G license.

Aside from my instructor, Globe Driving Academy has also met my expectations so far. The staff have been very informative and helpful throughout the pandemic and the licensing process. No matter what questions or issues I had, they will respond quickly and provide clear guidance. The BDE course was also very informative and well organized. I highly recommend the school to everyone. I'm a mature would be driver, Mr. Jonas instilled confidence in me and my driving skills from day one. He was patient, positive, very clear on how to drive safely, pointed at all details for me to look at on the road and asserted time again his confidence on how good of a driver I am. Initially I was afraid of turning left, and at the end of my classes with Mr. Jonas (as I call him), turning left was F. I. N. E. After many times of trying with different ppl in different schools and failing, I passed my G2 on my first try. I will continue to seek Mr. Jonas for my G, as I have as much confidence in his teaching as I have on my driving. A kind soul, smart instructor. Thank you!

My online classes were decent however my in car lessons were very good. The driving instructor, named Jonas, was very helpful and really made sure I understood how to efficiently and effectively drive. His knowledge is very helpful to students and I wouldn't suggest any other instructor. He makes it his goal to help you and make sure that you learn how to drive safely and properly. Very good experience with him!

If you are debating whether Globe Driving is worth it or not, I am here to tell you that it most definitely is.

After a full self-paced online Beginners Driver’s Education course and 10 hours of in-car driving lessons with Mr. Jonas, I feel more confident behind the wheel than I ever have.

Before I signed up for this full driving course, I was nervous as I had next-to-no driving experience and was afraid of making mistakes and miserably failing any driving examination. However, after many lessons, I have reassured myself with a new driving confidence.

Mr. Jonas has taught me several valuable lessons when I am driving; these include, but are not limited to:

Several efficient tactics to park a car, including reverse, forward, and parallel parking. He has very good methods which become muscle memory very quickly. He also has several sketches of these tactics and is willing to work at your own learning pace. He is very patient and also very nice when teaching.

10/10 Would recommend to anyone looking for driving experience or a driver’s education course. +1 For Mr. Jonas as well, he has taught me a lot!

I am very happy with the service for preparing for my driving test and I feel that Junaid is one of the best driving instructors in Toronto. Junaid as my instructor has been great in teaching me the best practices, rules for driving and 'Dos and Don'ts' for safe and good driving on the city streets. He taught me several things to be mindful of checking traffic signals in advance, observing actions of pedestrians and traffic on the roads. I was trained not just on driving skills but observational behavior as well for safe driving. He is punctual, professional in his approach and a nice person too who addressed my fears and challenges as a new driver.

A good BDE Online Course. Rozi, was my in-car instructor and she was very encouraging, patient and most of all she was always on time. I appreciated that!

I would recommend Globe Driving and Jonas (My driving instructor) to every one. Jonas is very good instructor and his way of teaching and driving techniques have been really good and help me drive better and safe. I not only cleared G2 exam but also being driving with confidence and care and thanks to Jonas for it.

Globe Driving Academy is the best team. My overall experience was great which includes both class room theory part and car driving lessons. In class my teacher was passionate and gave to teach all theory part with fun and also made sure that we understand importance of safe driving.

My instructor was Jonas. I can just say I was lucky to have him as my instructor. First of all he helped me to build my confidence to drive the car. Before taking lessons I had zero experience and I was a bit scared. I was really not sure whether I will be able to drive but he helped me to overcome from that and taught me each and every method to drive safely.

I have all my confidence in me and I am a very good driver now with G2 license cleared in first attempt

He has great methods to do parallel parking, reverse parking and driving in general. He explains these techniques very well and again and again until you get pro in it.

I have nothing to say but good things about this driving school. I took classes with Raza for about six months and I am now driving around the city with a G2 license with confident. Raza made the classes and lessons less daunting. He helped me improve my skills and was always encouraging me to practice. He also gave me assurance and confidence before we start the lesson to make sure that I am comfortable to drive. Overall, very good and really pleased with the school.

As a new immigrant I was very nervous and apprehensive about taking the full G driving exam, but my instructor Raza was a highly experienced professional that I would recommend to everyone! Although we only had a few sessions before the test, he quickly and easily pinpointed my driving strengths and weaknesses and helped me practice areas that I’d need to strengthen for the test. He is highly knowledgeable, made great conversation along the way and made me feel at ease during our lessons. He was very flexible with his time and worked with my schedule, which was also a plus. On the day of the test, he ensured I had enough practice before heading to the exam center and gave me a GREAT pep talk when nerves wanted to get the best of me. Thanks to Raza and his A+ tips and advice, I passed the full G exam on my first try!

Jonas was the perfect instructor for me. I had just 4 sessions with him and I was able to pass the test in the first attempt. The key is to listen and do exactly what he tells you and you should have no problems.you might be the best driver but the nuances of the test can only be taught by an instructor like Jonas. Amazing guy with lot of patience and very punctual!

I passed my G2 test on Downsview on the first try, after only taking 10 hrs in-car lessons with Jonas. He is the best instructor ever. Very knowledgeable and experienced, he knows exactly that you will be tested for, and prepares you for that. We did city driving on residential streets, practicing parallel parking, turns, and all sort of stops (uphill, downhill, roadside etc.), then practiced driving on some of the busiest roads in Toronto, like Eglinton, Bathurst, Lawrence, Sheppard, including driving in rush hours, after dark, and in bad weather conditions. We also practiced front and reverse parking in very busy parking lots. Jonas was always calm and patient, explaining things several times if needed. What is also important is that he is very organized, sends you a text with time and preferred pick up location in the evening before the lesson. Not every school instructor does that. At first, I was assigned another instructor for my in-car, and that lady never answered my calls, and replied to my texts sometimes a week later (!). I asked office staff if I could change my instructor, and they were very accommodating. The only drawback was that I had to wait for some time to get lessons with Jonas, because it was a busy time and he was booked for several weeks ahead. Was worth waiting though.

I had the most amazing experience with Jonas. He is honestly the best instructor ever! He teaches you everything you need to know and is very patient with you. I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Both with the in class and in car instructor. I have to give the biggest thanks to Jonas. He was the best driving instructor I could’ve asked for. I am so grateful to the Globe Driving Academy that they gave me Jonas as an instructor for in-car lessons. Yesterday, I passed my G2 (G1 exit) test on Downsview from the very first attempt! I would have never made it without Jonas. That is 100%. I had never been behind the the wheel before I took my first driving lesson. I even can't ride a bicycle. I was very afraid to drive, and thought I could never learn how to. Jonas's experience and patience were the key to my success. He understood all my doubts and fears, explained all step by step, very patiently, shared his driving wisdom and built my confidence. It's been a fantastic learning experience with the Academy. The instructors know their courses and bring a ton of knowledge and experience to each lesson. I had the pleasure of getting my G2 with flying colors on the very first attempt itself, at Downsview - thanks to the rigorous and thorough in car lessons provided by Jonas. He was very methodical, and ensured I learnt to near perfection thus enabling me to focus on exam grade driving skills and practices without taking anything for granted. Its a good thing to have a mentor like Jonas, especially if it's not an easy test and you still like to get it right the very first time. 10/10 would recommend.
