I have never been to a GNMI location but after my experience I will do my best to find somewhere else to go. There are signs posted everywhere about "no tolerance of abuse" but unfortunately you staff probably ar the cause of frustration and angry. I witness on of the receptionist's interaction with a client and she caused the clients simple question to escalate to the point that the client left in tears. Maybe you should screen or train you staff in dealing with the public and having better customer service skills.
As there are no appointments required for x-rays it should not be so difficult to get a rough idea of when yu will be seen. The whole process is terrible for seniors who are dependent on transportation or need to eat on time etc. If this is Doug Ford's idea of making things better I am afraid what the future holds for us.
Kindness works both ways but after what I witnessed you staff deserve to be told off.

If I could assign a rating lower than 1 star to this location, I certainly would. As someone who consistently treats others with respect, my experience at this facility was quite the opposite. I received less than respectful communication from the receptionist who called me about a mistake on their end. In the midst of dealing with a recent and devastating loss, I anxiously awaited answers regarding my ultrasound results, only to discover that they hadn't been sent anywhere.

In my vulnerable state, seeking answers as to why my OB hadn't contacted me yet, the receptionist had the audacity to scold me, saying, "Don't be snippy with me. " It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of empathy from someone in an industry that requires compassion. One should reconsider their career choice if empathy is lost. Experiencing such mistreatment while dealing with a profound loss was not only upsetting but also sickening.

I would be appalled to work alongside or own a business where someone with such a deficiency in respect and empathy is the voice connecting with patients. I strongly urge a thorough examination of the staff at this location, and I sincerely hope the receptionist in question reflects on their interactions and refrains from treating someone in distress with such disregard in the future.

The worst GNMI facility I’ve been at. The staff, in particular the admin staff, are disrespectful and short in tone. If you want to be talked down to, they are certainly the ones to speak to, either on the phone or in person. The technician I interacted with, did not seem interested in completing or putting full effort into the time sensitive scan I had scheduled with her as she had prior commitments following her shift, as she mentioned to me while rushing me out. She did however, rebook me for the following week - which I appreciated, despite its time sensitivity.

After my experience, I figured I would contact my healthcare team for their advice on my situation, they advised I go elsewhere and let me know that GNMI may charge a fee for a missed appointment if I don’t cancel the rebook. I called GNMI Welland and left a message to cancel the appointment. After not hearing from them, I decided to call again to ensure I got someone on the phone to cancel so I wouldn’t be charged the No Show fee. They cancelled the appointment. Then today, I get a sassy call from the admin tell me I missed my appointment and that there were no notes made of me cancelling - I received a “I guess I’ll cancel it”.

Medical Administration is not a difficult occupation, however there seems to be process inefficiencies and personality shortfalls at this location. 1. Inability to answer the phone or return a voicemail. 2. Disrespectful in tone in addition to their failure in simple record keeping tasks.

If you have the option to go to the other GNMI sites, please go there, they were much more polite, organized and accommodating, you also won’t have to pay for parking.

Terrible, Rude, Unprofessional, need to be fined for their horrible treatment. We booked an appointment months in advance, got caught at the parking gate and terminal, showed up 3 minutes after my appt and they canceled my appt. I've waited hours before, and they cancel my appt for 3min.
We paid for parking, drove 30min each way. You selfish, unprofessional, inconsiderate jerks.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Extremely rude staff who are not accountable for their own administrative mistakes. Then verbally abused a pregnant woman. Was told the wrong appointment time at the time of booking in person, 6 days ago. This is now the second appointment they have "not been able to do" and instead of kindness I recieved a terrible amount of attitude from the frustrated staff. I have hyperemesis and was extremely sick prior to my arrival. I arrived exactly at appointment time instead of 10 mins early due to being sick. Only to be met with rude staff who were clearly busy, couldn't handle the stress and could not be accountable. The doctor spoke about me to the staff with negative connotation for all the patients to hear in the waiting room. After this I was accused of being 15 minutes late for my appointment. Lack of accountability for telling the patient the WRONG time for their appointment. I was told I'm being rude and they will not speak to me, but will address my husband who is not their patient. All this after myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter were waiting in line in a row and one of the receptionists pushed by my child with attitude and a sigh instead of saying a simple "excuse me". Clearly they cannot handle the volume of patients/appointments whilst maintaining a professional attitude. So disappointed and thanks to them I will be going elsewhere and have to wait another week for this exam.

I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone expecting a child as they clearly do not respect pregnancy or the symptoms pregnant women have. Plus, they are NOT accountable and refuse to own up to any mistakes they have made. If you're looking for a positive experience, even when mistakes are made, I would not suggest this place AT ALL. Absolutely disgusting.

My 5 year old granddaughter had an ultrasound there yesterday. The reporting physician, based on the findings, directed that she seek immediate paediatrician assessment. MacMaster children’s hospital (same day) did an ultrasound and found that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in Welland’s GMNI ultrasound report was true.
I would call that 100% incompetence…. Seriously what are the consequences for that level of not knowing what you’re doing sir?

Better book a whole day off to wait in the lobby, because you definitely won't be seen at or near your appointment time. YOU absolutely need to be at least 15 minutes early though, unless you want your appointment canceled. Their attitude is "respect our time, but dont expect us to respect yours".

They never answer their phones, don’t return your call when you leave a voicemail, and apparently cancel your appointment without even talking to you as well. Show up for an appt I booked weeks ago, when ive also been trying to call them the last week and have been ignored, to be told my appointments been cancelled for some reason and they are all booked and cant squeeze me in.absolutely ridiculous. Will have to drive to another city now everytime i need an ultrasound done throughout my pregnancy since I am never going back there and dont need the stress they cause.

The ladies at the front were not polite at all. I stood their long enough and kept looking but didn't sign me in and finally when 1 did. I had to wait for call inside. Finally when I called in she said she can't do it since I'm late.

Wonderful Staff, front desk are extremely busy with call volume and in person attendance but they are still polite. I would like to give the Ultrasound Technician Aleksia extra gratitude for taking the extra time and attention for my condition despite the hectic, post-holiday clinic. Thank you very much.
