Very clean establishment
If you need a day to get away from the world, Go Place is it.
From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, you're treated like royalty. It's a great place to go and relax with zero sales pressure and tactics from spa staff. The agate room and salt rooms were my favorite and at very comfortable temperatures.
L'Occitaine products are used throughout the entire spa and the ladies changeroom has absolutely all the amenities one should need.
This place would be great for a pre-wedding or event Date.
If there's one thing I would change, the "pools" are all very similar temperatures. It would be nice to be able to actually submerge in the cold plunge area.

It is the robot that brings you the food in the cafe that sealed the deal for me. Relaxing space!

Loved GO Place! The various saunas, baths, and relaxation rooms were wonderful. We had bubble tea and some sushi during our visit and it was great! Removing one star because even though I walked by the red light chairs several times, it was the same people sitting there - no time limit for those things. It did get incredibly busy after 1pm on a Sunday so I will come early next time!

Amazing and relaxing environment! Fun to hang out with friends or even go alone. I’ve been here a few times and plan on going again. Busy on the weekends and quieter throughout the week.

I've gone to this place a few times and highly recommended it to my friends. However, today was incredibly disappointing. It used to have soft instrumental spa music playing while everyone respected the "quiet talking" etiquette of the spa. An incredible place to escape the hustle and bustle of life for a bit.

But instead, aside from the obvious overcrowding, they played electronic music that you would expect in a club/lounge. It is so loud that you can hear it everywhere, including the saunas and changing room. People also talk so loud, that you can hear them several rooms over. No matter which room you are in, or which chair you sat in, you can not escape the loud chatters. The billiard balls being played in the work-out room can be heard through the nearby sauna walls.

If you want to come here to relax, don't. It has transformed from a Korean spa to a glorified hang-out place.

Very aesthetically-pleasing, all-inclusive spa Resort. The food here is fantastic as is the service. The furniture and amenties are immaculate. It’s pricey, however, with about $70 CAD entrance fee and at the end everyone gets charged with a 12% gratuity. But they do have very great facial and deep tissue massages available as well for purchase.

Overall a pretty pleasant experience! Visited for a friend's birthday. Most important thing to me is cleanliness in a place like this because of the public health risks, and it seemed like staff were quite diligent about keeping things clean.

I spent about 7 hours here and it was enough time for me. They use a wristband system that allows you to safely store your valuables in lockers linked to your wristband.

Not the biggest fan of being asked to pay extra for slippers upon entering the facility. Seems kind of cheap considering how much you have to pay to go in. Also a mandatory 12% service charge should just be added to the cost of admission and displayed up front. But the value at the restaurant seems pretty decent. Managed to get pork katsu with a bowl of udon noodles for $12.99 which is quite reasonable.

All in all would come back, just more mindful of some of the less obvious charges.

This place seems "too good to be true", but it is! It's currently $65.95 for however long you want to spend in this amazing place.

Amenities were great! Each saunas have ther own unique purposes. There's the Volcanic, Salt, Ice, Agate, Jade, Amethyst and more.

There's plenty of room to take naps and rest. Computer/work and game section. Books available for reading.

The issue I had was some of the guests will come in large groups and can very noisy and inconsiderate, we had to put in a complaint and the security there immediate took care of it.

This is a space meant to relax and be considerate of others. Phones shouldn't be brought into the saunas as it can get overheating for it but also it's a private space for others to feel safe and relaxed. They have cool phone locks just outside most of the sauna stations where you can securely store them.

The showers, change rooms, washrooms were always clean and serviced. Great quality products are being offered. Hair drying station with free comb for hair. Jacuzzis and dining area.

Good quality food for a fair price. Again, great service.

Another bonus, we went on Canada Day so the massages were all booked up. We were able to put our names on the wait list for any no shows or cancelations and get notified. We were able to slot in couples' private room for massages. Really good RMT serviced us and it was great!

12% tips are included to all services when you check out using your bracelet to track.

I'd definitely come back. Making plans already to do 2-4 month visits just for the relaxation.

Definitely one of my favorite places to be in the GTA now.

Our flight was delayed so we decided to check this place out to kill some time, since it was only 30 minutes from the airport. Best decision we made. Staff was extremely professional and all the amenities are unmatched. If you need some rest and relaxation then I highly recommend coming here and feeling like a whole new person.

We had an amazing experience at this place and everything is perfect from food, cleanliness, customer service and the vibe of the place. Great place to escape reality. Definitely will go again
27 August 2022 0:48
Will be back for sure. Great experience, only thing I'd say is don't go there hungry. The food is expensive and not worth the price
19 August 2022 2:20
Love it here. Took the family to enjoy some relaxation and down time. Everything was great. The staff is very attentive and polite. Enjoyed the ambience and service. The restaurant food is yummy. Apparently it's the same owners as dragon pearl. Overall a great experience!

This concept is amazing. Why work from home when you can work at this place and take a break and go into a sauna or get a massage or just close your eyes in one of the rooms. Clean and beautiful venue. Would love to see more additions to their food menu although it is adequate. Service was 10/10. Thanks to Michelle my massage therapist who has been incredible.
17 August 2022 4:38
I'd say it's quite pricey but worth it with a bunch of friends wanting to do something different and relaxing. The message is hard to book, should plan at least 3 weeks in advance. Very crowded on weekends especially after lunch time and women's side jacuzzi/steam room. Nice bougie atmosphere with common area, gym, pool table, different sauna rooms and even red light lamps.

Service was so good. Staff are all really nice and willing to answer questions. Food was like an average Asian standard good which includes stuff like Katsu, udon, sushi, snacks and all types of drinks. You can even order lobster LOL.

You have to pay for slippers and robes tho a little annoying cus everything is already expensive.
10 August 2022 21:46
The worst customer service, for past 3 days I tried to book a time for the message, nobody picks up the phone and nobody replied back to the email. I have sent more than 5 emails. I don't know how else to talk to anyone there. Worst experience so far
10 August 2022 9:29
Definitely a place to try that has 24 hour access. Facilities were very clean and we had a positive experience there.

Note: there is a mandatory 12% service charge for everything you do there.

Best to use the coupons when available.

Overall good, overcharged and the waitress from Hong Kong very noisy make environment not stay able keep talking for hours
05 August 2022 22:44
My eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing when I stepped in. Absolutely awe-inspiring design and customer experience. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the customer journey - with staff ready to greet you and attentive in explaining the experience. The restaurant was STUNNING - I swear I could stay there for hours. Very slick ordering experience, and even with a simple dish like Chicken Teriyaki and Pork Chop Rice, there was something about it that set it apart from what you might expect. It might be just that fine crisp in the pork chop. My friend and I devoured our dishes basically. The different zones are all well curated and spaced out. It all feels like one massive living room - I never expected such a concept to be brought to life but it works so well. A team truly thought deeply about this vision and it is very evidently executed

It is nice and cozy. Food was delicious. But I was very dissapiinted about masseu. I went there with my friends and getting foot massage but obviously only my masseu was giving me massage very different way. She was just applying massage oil so many times and she seems not to know any pleasure points. I paid lots of money but she was not professional. Very disappointed. They should teach all masseu  how to give foot massage correctly.

First time at Go Place and I really enjoyed it. The workers are all super friendly and welcoming. It was very busy, but I was still able to enjoy my time. I would recommend Hua And Jay for a massage! (I hope I spelt that correctly). Will be back again soon!
03 August 2022 6:56
Love it here! I go almost once a week or once every other! The perfect spot to just getaway and relax!
30 July 2022 6:40
Facilities are great, and everything looks very clean and pretty. Note the following:

1) Entrance fee & service charges: Entrance fee of $65, cheapy spa slippers cost $4, bath robe available for rent for $5, spa top & shorts combo provided for free, towels are also free. It's a good idea to bring socks with you or you will walk around bare foot if you dont want to purchase slippers. For the price of the entrance fee you would think the cheapy disposable spa slippers would be included along with the rental robe at the very least.

Also BEWARE about tip and service charges - a service charge at the end of the stay is automatically applied to the bill. The payment machine asked for a tip and the lady checking me out (with a mask on and with an accent) was difficult to understand and did not properly explain that the tip portion of the bill could just be skipped over since it is included in the service charge. When i mentioned that I had included the tip the lady had this look on her face (kind of like a "should I tell her" kinda look) but proceeded to say nothing. So in total, with the tip (15%) + included service charge (12%) I spent a whopping 27% more on top of the paid services and food (keep in mind that the entrance fee and paid services are already a bit on the pricer side). Whereas my sister who was with the cashier next to me was explained about the full bill.

Edit: For those who are wondering, service charge and tips are not synonymous. If you have ever used Uber Eats for example, there is a service charge for using the app, and a tip option for the delivery driver's service. This is why when I saw the SC listed on the bill I didnt automatically assume that this also meant tip.

2) Paid services (beyond the cost of the entrance fee) : 60 mins Swedish massage by an RMT cost $130. The rooms were really clean and inviting and the massage itself was really great. Arrive atleast 15 mins before your scheduled time as it can get busy and you need to fill out a virtual consent form. There were both male and female masseuse available and you could request a specific gender if you wished.

3) Services included with the entrance fee: Steam rooms had a good variety in temperature (there were 4 hot rooms which allows you to work up to the hottest room) and one cold room. Lots of space and mats available inside the rooms. There were lock boxes outside of each hot room to store your cellphone and other small belongings.

4) Food & drinks (outside and inside) : No outside food or drinks allowed. They will conduct a bag search at the entrance and toss out anything not allowed. There are water fountains with paper cups scattered throughout the facilities.

The restaurant was surprisingly not as expensive as I thought it would be. Mind you, it's a tad bit more than what you would pay at a restaurant outside of the spa. But this is expected given that there are no in and out privileges so it make sense that they would charge more than normal street prices. Therefore eat BEFORE you go because it's not really worth it and you can save some extra bucks this way.

5) Customer service: Some of the staff were a bit rude, not all, but there were definitely some that could use a bit of extra training in providing better customer service.

Overall, it's good place to experience once but the cost adds up really quick and the service is just okay. So probably would not go back again.

Excellent service, great environment, fantastic place to visit with your friends. Cleanliness 5/5. Restaurant food quality 4.5/5.
18 July 2022 15:59
All my many years in Canada I have been looking for a place like this. Superior quality, unprecedented service, and a great variety of baths, saunas, and spa services. All of this combined with unique atmosphere of calmness, food, sofas and board games. Love it!
16 July 2022 6:06
Overall really relaxing and nice atmosphere. There are opportunities to step up in improving cleaningness of the place. For example the towels on the lazyboy type of chairs don't get changed unless you remove it and ask for fresh one yourself. Otherwise the towel that someone just sat on gets straigtened out and done. The saunas are nice but a bit small and not that hot, one may get disappointed if you're looking for a hot sauna. Food is pretty good and decently priced. Overall a nice relaxing place to relax and pass time. You can easily spend half a day here or even longer lounging around and rotating between saunas and rest areas.
16 July 2022 1:11
Great place to unwind and have some quiet in an isolated space. Facilities are good but they are mainly saunas. Place is kept impressively clean.
12 July 2022 6:34
Visited GoPlace earlier this week and was appalled with the behaviour from a supposed manager (name tag read Wing) While the overall aesthetic of GoPlace is beautiful one cannot dismiss how unprofessional the manager is. We are business owners ourselves and have never witnessed such unprofessional behaviour from a “manager. ” Customers were having an issue and Wing was extremely rude to the customers. It was visible that the customers were feeling uncomfortable and yet ironically the customers remained calm and polite while the manager was extremely rude in her tone and demeanour. After the customers left we witnessed the same manager (Wing) yell and berate a staff security guard and another staff member at GoPlace. Even though she was wearing a mask and there is plexiglass in place she was yelling so loud we could hear her. It seemed as if she arguing with herself as the other staff were just respectful listening to her rant on and on. At one point she said “she doesn’t care what the customer wants, it is what She wants” For GoPlace to advertise their business as a 5 star luxury spa they really need to re think who they have as management. To witness this made us, and other customers uncomfortable (we spoke to another couple about the incident) and left an overall negative experience. No amount of fancy decor could make us want to return if that is what Go Place feels is 5 star hospitality.

Simply heavenly. I always tell people some of the best sashimi you can get in TO is at the sauna. For real, it's amazing!
03 July 2022 21:19
Perfect experience, i love everything about go place. The food, massage and the whole experience is just amazing, the price is right and i will always come back here whenever i need to destress and unwind in life ️️
02 July 2022 10:00
Truly amazing. Great price. Very clean. It is tranquil and perfect for a day to de-stress. Going for the first time, I wish there were more kear instructions on how to use the facilities. I couldn't tell if I was allowed to be in certain places. There were some communication challenges. I can't wait to go back!
30 June 2022 17:07
Came on a Sunday afternoon. Will have to come another time when it isn't so busy. Early morning during the week would probably be amazing. The spa was very clean and alot of staff constantly mopping up floors and wiping surfaces. There should definitely be another cold room. With all of the warm/hot rooms, it would be a welcome reprieve. Overall, a lovely experience. I will be back again.
23 January 2021 15:19
The place is amazing but the massage wasn’t great.when I asked for a receipt for my insurance, they didn’t want to give me one!
16 May 2020 20:37
At some point it was hard to dissociate where my body ended and goplace began. An incredible experience that I hope to recapture with my multiple return visits.
25 April 2020 7:05
I haven't even come in yet and my experience has been horrible.
I was trying to book a spa day for my one year anniversary I was told to call back because they could not take my call. I called back the lady wasn't listening to what I wanted and rushed me off the phone because she couldn't talk what kind of service is that if you can't take an simple phone call what is your in house service even like. If i have to bet these 4/5 start reviews are fake.

This was truely the best spa experience i've ever had. During my visit I went to the gym, tried all the therapy rooms, went to the bath house, and ate at the restaurant. The facility was beautiful and super clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I felt so relaxed after my visit and I will definitely be back! A personal thank you to the manager Anne for making my visit amazing!
17 March 2020 13:20
I've been here twice now so I feel I can write a comprehensive review, and can definitely recommend!

The facility is located in a former movie theatre location so this gives you an idea of the size of the place. At check in, you get an electronic touch bracelet that you use to open/close lockers throughout the facility and keep track of items you've paid for at the restaurant. I was impressed on entering on my first visit that the staff personally guided me to the changing area and explained how to get prepared and where to store your shoes/clothing, if you've never been to this type of spa, it's helpful so you don't get confused.

You first take off your shoes and enter the changing room, which is adjacent to the hot bathes and wet sauna. Clothing is optional in these areas and in the bathes, don't be surprised if you see people bathing without swimsuits on:) There are three baths in the male section, a shallow cold water pool to cool off, and two hot pools, with various water jets you can turn on. There is also a wet sauna with variable temperature. There is a shower room and bath room available next to the bath house, and all amenities are available for your use (shampoo, conditioner, soap), as well as face wash, blow dryers, and hair styling products.

After you've finished in the bath area, staff waiting in the change room will hand you a lounge wear set you can wear throughout the rest of the facility (the unisex part). If you go up the stairway near the entrance to the communal area, you enter the service desk for massage/beauty services, which are an extra fee on top of admission. If you want to use the massage services, especially if you want a massage by a Registered Massage Therapist, I highly suggest you go immediately to the massage service desk after leaving the bath house and making a reservation. I arrived in the early afternoon and had to make a late night appointment with the RMT.

In this communal area, you can interact with your male/female friends and enjoy the various dry saunas, restaurant, or massage services. You can also borrow board games to play or use computers in the computer room. Finally there is a gym area where you can borrow shoes for a workout session. WIFI is available throughout the facility. I won't go into detail on all the saunas, but I think there are five hot ones and one cold room. My favourites are the Jade room and the Amethyst room:)

At the restaurant, you can either order off the menu at the counter and the food will be brought to you, or you can pick ready made foods/drinks/desserts from the cooler or use the salad bar. You use the bracelet at the cashier to keep track of the items you buy so you don't have to bring money inside the facility. It is nice that there are food choices at price points on both ends of the spectrum depending on how decadent you feel like being, you don't have to spend a lot of money here.

I think I stayed for the greater part of an afternoon and evening, and here is the routine I utilized to make the best use of the experience:
-Use bath house and sauna
-Enter communal area, utilize various dry saunas
-Lounge and work on computer
-Have a nap in the comfort room
-Eat at restaurant
-Workout in gym
-Go back to the bath house, shower, utilize hot tubs again
-Return for massage
-Leave

Small details to this place I enjoyed that you may overlook:
-The floors in the bathrooms appear to be heated, which is nice if you are going barefoot around the place, it's comforting.
-There are aroma machines tucked away in corners that emit a pleasant scent, it adds to the relaxing ambiance.
-The music and music volume changes depending on the area or room you are in, which is welcoming especially if you are napping in the Comfort Room for example.
-The place is pretty immaculate and staff are consistently cleaning, restocking towels, drying floors, etc.

Overall, I think this is a well considered facility and you should enjoy the experience if you are going in with the mind to relax and clear your mind of distractions of your outside life.

Unfortunately first impressions at the front desk were negative - the receptionist (don’t remember her name) was unhelpful and a bit rude in answering our questions. Thankfully when we returned, every other person gave service above and beyond the call of duty. Facilities are immaculately clean and beautiful. Massage services are wonderful.

Some things to note (I could be mistaken)

1) Massages cannot be booked in advance. This was our original question that we had asked about. Thankfully we did not have to wait long before getting a spot.
2) Swimwear, slippers and robes can be purchased at the reception area.

Keep up the good work!
