They have a lot of soccer equipment but the customer service is so bad! Some of their jerseys are fake and yet he claims them to be original. The owner seemed like he was annoyed with me and didn't want to help. Very unfriendly person, good variety but the owner is so unfriendly!
Came in looking for soccer gloves. This store has the best selection out there- better than the big box stores. Store owner was super nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
Today, it was my first time visiting the store, it is the best place for buying anything about football's universe, jerseys etc. The prices are affordable, and those jerseys have excellent quality and originality. Also, I cannot forget to mention the excellent customer service/experience there. You've got a new customer!
Been going there foe year great goalkeeper equipment owner is nice guy I'm also looking for the video of when Diego Maradona came to play in Toronto I was the keeper he scored on
I never expected to find everything is one place, the owner or the guy behind the cashier was very friendly and helpful, i found everything i was looking for in one shop, a big big variety of the merchandise of the sport.
The sell all soocer you need yes. Buttttttt, They open soooo late. It’s says 11 in the morning the openjng in the website but waited for more than 30 freezing outside…. Zeroooo stars
Such an amazing little football store amazing what they sell products that are extremely difficult to find in Canada I’m a really happy customer can’t wait to go again I got a greece jersey for 50% and classic lotto leather indoor shoes I’m sooo happy with my purchase
The owner vito is rude, cannot speak english and sputters like a blabbering babboon. I wonder if he has an intelligence issue or maybe his mom did not give him enough love so vito resorts to scamming people
We were looking for some hard to find Adidas Copa socks to match my son's OSL soccer uniform. They were discontinued, but they were in stock here. While there, we also bought a beautiful jersey. They had many jerseys, new and past editions, items that are hard to find. Check them out.
Since the owner removed my review, I will be reposting:
For those of you that value your money, and authentic products, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Please take the time to read my review and allow me and my horrible experience to be your guinea pig so you don't have to waste your time and money:
I purchased my first (2020/2021) England Home kit during the early stages of the Euro Cup. Nike and Sport Chek were sold out of my size, so I decided to shop at Goal Planet as they appeared to carry it. I was initially hesitant when I saw the picture of the jersey on their website, as it had faint Chinese lettering over the thumbnail, but I assumed it was nothing. I paid full price, and shortly thereafter, I briefly left the country. When I returned, I picked up my kit from Goal Planet and that was that. Later my girlfriend surprised me with a kit she bought for me while I was away, and with no need to have two of the same, I decided to return the one I bought from Goal Planet. Not only did I review the return policy (which DID NOT SPECIFY anything about a no return policy), I ensured I had the proper receipt and the tags were on the kit prior to going in. When I tried to return it, I was told by a worker that they don't accept returns on kits because "someone changed their mind". I kindly said my return has nothing to do with that, I simply have another one and would like to get a refund. He then told me that they don't accept returns on jerseys "after the Euro Cup, for a team that lost". I'm sorry what? Where does it say that on the policy? What a bizarrely specific rule? Nevertheless, I told him that I was well within the return policy time listed on the site, my request has nothing to do with a losing team, and that once more, I would just like a straight refund. He grew increasingly impatient saying that "ITS A NO REFUND STORE. ONLY STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE" and pointed to a vague sign that says that. I'm sorry, but that completely contradicts what your online return policy says. He then says "just take store credit, just take store credit and go". Having had enough, I left the store and out of curiosity, I brought my kit to a Nike store where, I was told by a number of employees, that the jersey I bought was an absolute fake. The stitching is all frayed and the badges are of low quality. We compared mine to one in store, and the difference was like night and day. Some employees even went on to tell me that they heard awful things about Goal Planet, and that they shamelessly charge full price for counterfeit goods. Attached are images of my kit for reference. Additionally, genuine nike products have tags on both sleeves, not the collar.
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR COUNTERFEIT / FAKE CHINESE PRODUCTS AT THIS STORE. It's a shame that they are allowed to operate by selling FAKES and taking advantage of people. Take it from me who just lost money. Thank you for reading.
EDIT: The worker I picked my kit up from, and the one that denied my return were both not wearing face masks.
FANtastic.staff member is a fan of the sports amazing history as well.knowledgeable and friendly.eye will be going again soon.nice and close to the bus and subway.
Football loving small business owner! This is the one true football enthusiast shop in the GTA. Excellent selection, high quality merchandise and fair prices. TFC players frequent the shop all the time (their training facility is directly across the street). I bought a Michael Bradley kit from GP & the owner had it signed for me, awesome.
Difficult to park. When we eventually found the underground parkade and made it into the store, the gentleman working was chatting to a friend, on the phone, and completely ignored us. Although they had a small selection of cleats, this store is more of a soccer fan store, not a place to buy soccer gear. Sadly, we would not recommend.
One of the few soccer only stores in Toronto. They have a good selection of jerseys, boots and other accessories. They are right across Sheppard west station so its easy to access.
These guys are awesome. They are extremely helpful. I buy my son's soccer cleats from there and only there because of the great customer service and great experiences that I have had. I have recommended my friends to shop here. I've actually wanted to pick up soccer just so I can buy the cool cleats they carry lol but I'll just stick to baseball.
Called to inquire about a specific article of clothing, I was totally polite about it as always when calling a business but the guy that answers the phone gives me a rushed “no no no” and basically hangs up on me. Nice customer service bud, then people wonder why they can’t stay in business.
Terrible customer service. Guy sells old boots for the same price as when they first came out. Not only that, every other item on the store is overpriced by 30 %. Wont ever step foot in that store in my life. Guys a fraud.
I buy my kids' soccer gear here. They sell all the staples. Good selection of soccer jerseys/keychains/collectibles as well. Need to see more of these specialty stores in North York.
It’s definitely everything soccer everything you need is here. Small store but so much soccer memorabilia. Like wowzers. I know Canada isn’t really a soccer country, but hopefully the international generations can keep up the hype and keep it competitive. The man of the store was receiving stock he was welcoming and flirty with his words. European style charm. Everything in the store is authentic and original as he stated. It was a quick in look and out. Parking is issue since it’s corner intersection location, you can leave car behind where the 30 minute building visitor parking is. Otherwise further away and walk.
I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My experience with Goal planet was honestly a very pleasant one. I ordered and pre-paid for my Tottenham jersey (the only place I could even find the away 2017-2018 jersey) on the company’s website, called the next day to ensure my order was ready for pickup and went by to pick it up. From the moment I walked in (first time buyer) the young gentleman working at the front was very courteous, professional and ensured I was satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely go back to buy future football gear from Goal Planet and recommend anyone looking for their gear to check it out and see for themselves and not to solely believe some “reviews”. And yes, for those who are wondering, the jersey I bought was 100% authentic.
